I did the experiment with Safari on Windows. It is much faster than IE7, but when I start to work in something else with the Safari opened, the PC start to slow down. So, I prefer IE7!

you can do that with safari. go to File at the top of the Safari window. then select New Tab. and that is how you do it

Yeah, I keep coming back to IE7, but lately it has been crashing on me, and I don't like the way I8 looks, Firefox has features that I'll never use, Safari-well Idk not much experience yet, and Chrome is a really good browser except for when you put in a bookmark it requires you to put in the url, etc. And chrome also has some glitches with flash player.

I wish there was just ONE browser everyone used, and it worked with fully custimizable everything.

Sure speed is something that everyone wants but one thing that Safari can't do it right is load up a page 100% correctly... As you see in the video on the demo, there was a page that was epic fail and Steve job quickly switch to another page.

...And if I remember correctly iBench is not very reliable (and dead) because it bases its analysis on when a browser finishes loading of a page, BUT browsers differ in definition of "loaded" page. Safari reports that page is loaded before calculating layout of the page, which pads the results in Safari's favor when. Intel and AMD do this all the time when showing integer and floating point capabilities. (Intel still wins)

just take a look at best buy, the zune has gone down so low in price, and my guess is because nobody wants it. it's not very good, i've used other players that are so much better. microsoft could probably make it a little better by allowing it to work with mac, but no, they're just being ignorant. this is why i'm sticking with the ipod, it works on mac and windows and it's just more user friendly, and you can even change the firmware. try that on the zune.. and try using the crappy zune software
