This England team was the best England team since 1966-1970. This team if it wasn't for Maradonnas hand of god would have gone on and won the world cup in 1986 and again should have won it in again in 1990 only the post twice and a penalty shootout stopped England, Germany was lucky. Since 1990 England went downhill and have never been good enough since and I doubt they ever will again.
