How can anything be this adorable???? When I saw the dog stretched out on the yellow float I spewed a mouthful of soda all over my monitor. So darling - so adorable - so precious. I am in love with that dog.
Its not that they cant swim its that most dont even try. One of my bullys fell in the pool when I was in the water and went under and I literally saw him fall in and start sinking and he didnt even try to paddle. Of course I quickly grabbed him and he was fine but I think that he thought trying to swim was way to much work. Maybe he figured he would just wait till he hit bottom and he would walk out of the pool.

I think the key word here is YOUR bulldog can swim. Many bulldogs can not swim.
My sisters champion bulldog drown six years ago. I've have heard of many, many others. If your bulldog has nice dense bone, chances are, they are not buoyant. Are you willing to take a chance on your bulldog? If not, take precautions and put him in a life vest to enjoy the water. BulldogLover/Handler/Breeder, Kelley.
I raise English Bulldogs and some can swim but this owner sincerely takes all precautions and loves her very much. If you want to take them to the water all you need to do is have a life jacket on them at all times and you will be ok. Their heads must stay above water. Great job owner and how spoiled is this baby. I wish I could give this video to everyone who buys one of my pups. It just safety with them just as it is with your kids.
It's funny b/c it's known that bullies can't swim so we decided to try this. The vest works great as long as her head is propped and the belt goes under her bully belly. She loves it but loves resting on the raft the most! Have fun!
