i hate seeing photos of these classic diesels being ripped apart brs biggest mistakes instead of maintaining and upgrading them they supply us with the utter rubbish we have today, mmm i can still hear the blood curdling howl of the deltics growling down the ecml now them times were the best era for a trainspotter and glad i was part of it, does not intrest me today unless royal scots greys on a day out
Another set of lovely historic shots there, and another shot of the Tommies 76s too. Do miss the peaks though, strong old reliable workhorses, went behind them a few times in me youth!
