#3...Roche-A-Cri State Park!

Don't go to this run down park. They charge you to enter the park & when you get to the rotted stairs you will see they are closed. If you try to use them, they fine you $175 per person. They park is run down and they do not deserve visitors. Save yourself the time & money and watch the youtube videos and you will see what the view is, a view of nothing but trees. The petroglyphs are a joke. A few scratches on a rock. They are not nice to their visitors.

@kayliepet Wow! That's very sad to hear! I'm very surprised to hear of this!

I did notice last year that a few of the steps/railings were replaced with pine lumber!

I'll try to look into this a bit more when I have time! In what way are they not nice to visitors?

I've never had bad encounters with the park rangers/DNR etc.

@IntoWisOutdoors None of the signs said if you pass beyond the area, you would be fined. We assumed it meant "Enter at your own risk" and we were very careful. Man on golf cart waits for you at bottom, very routine, needs every adults name, (so they can write as many fines as possible!). One fine would have been more than enough to wreck our day. In my opinion, park users are good people. He said if went to the top, fine $1000. Unnecessary harassment.

WOW I'm not sure what else to say that is a great park! I thought Pa was such a beautiful state but I dont think there is anything here like that park other then mabey the little grand canyon in Wellsboro, PA. great job as always ken.

I figured that I'd start with Roche-A-Cri,.....Just wait until you see what I've got in store in a week or so! You'll think that you're out in Colorado in the mountains after viewing what will be coming up! I'll need about a full day to capture all of the footage! Thank You Rancho! My Father,...In the video is 75. Is a bit slower with aches & pains,....He was very glad to have made the climb! There are several resting platform/decks with seating along the way. It may not be as bad as you think! *grin*

Thank You! From the :32 to the 2:00 time frame I wanted to add naration info,....Due to having the previous flu,...My throat is still sore & my sinuses arn't quite recovered yet! I didn't like the way my voice sounded,...So I scrubd that part & turned the music up on that clip & just went with what I had!
