There is one slight problem that I've had with this game, but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't played it. It involves a side quest and a weapon you can get from it. But it's not really a big problem either way, I'm just nit picking.

@grenadier42 its because the game is very outdated. if deadly premonition was released for the ps2 near the end of its life or the first year of the 360, like 2007, then it would have gotten a much better review, instead of it being released in 2010 and getting a bad review because of its outdatedness, a good game nonetheless from what i see, but for ign if it comes out at a certain date, it has to keep up with everything else behind it, even toprate games like fallout, borderlands, cod, tc.

I would not say this game was released in 2010. Looks very old school, and graphics don't appear to be amazing. Looks kinda like a classic horror, in the vein of silent hull 2, but... recent! I'll be VERY interested to see how this game pans out.
