I've always had the tradition, ever since Pokemon Blue, of catching one of the weak Normal-types you always see early in the game (Ratatta, Sentret, Zigzagoon, Bidoof, Lillipup), don't train it at all, and put it in the Daycare ASAP. I leave it there for the entire duration of the game, and only come back afterwards. Usually, it's up in the 60s or 70s. I leave it in there for a while, until it's about Level 85, and then I use all the Rare Candies to get it to 100 without training.

I was very reluctant to buy Pokémon Black because of how bad the new Pokémon designs were, also because I said "Pokémon will never be as good as Gold/Silver". However, I decided to give it a chance. Now I regret every single bad word I said about Black. It is truly a milestone for the series, an excellently well made game, and it deserves everyone gives it a chance. You'll get used to the new Pokémon very quickly. The soundtrack is great, and this song shows it. Thank you, Game Freak & Nintendo!

@JAJAJA31000 I agree. I'm a die-hard Pokémon fan, and whatever Nintendo and Game Freak does to Pokémon, I will still love it. I think some of the Pokémon in B/W are odd and over-the-top, but there are also many great and creative ones. The game itself is just as good as any other generation game and the soundtrack is amazing! Whatever happens to Pokémon, I will still love it. Heck, I'm 13 and I still collect Pokémon cards. Long live Pokémon! <3
