  • I dont have the wifi radar on mine :(

  • really? yessss!!!

  • Excellent choice for IP sniffing tools, proxy hunters, hax0rs, cyber criminals, fraudsters, phishing admins, PayPal haxing, eGold skimming and any other anonymous activity whether legal or not so legal, the best way to rape FREE bandwidth from unsuspecting victims, esspecially in Hotel Zonas where bandwidth charges are cost prohibitive, its every hacker & cyber criminal's hacktool of choice for quick net access & even quicker getaways, always leading to other people's accounts, hahaha! Suckers!!

  • lets say i have a PCImia or whatever its called.....u no those wifi cards for old laptops....they are card like and stick in the side? will this work with that or will i have to create a driver for it

  • How Do You Connect To The Internet If You Have Ubuntu 8.10??

  • i searched for wifi and wi-fi in the aplications menu but it came up with nothing. i am using ubuntu 7.10 on my ps3. i think it is because my apps list is out of date but how can i connect to the internet to update it. thx in advance

  • Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex 8.10 is now compatible with most wi-fi including WPA2 and WPA encrypted routers, so give ubuntu a try

  • How?? When I first installed ubuntu (Inside Windows) I had the connection to my router using my Laptop I put the WIFI Switch on "on" And there was no wireless connection Please help

  • Click the network icon and your router will come up in a list, if it doesn't, then your laptops wireless card isnt supported, and you will need to look up how to use ndiswrapper to make linux use your windows driver to make your wireless work

  • thanks!! But the driver wasn't the problem. I had to restart my laptop and leave the ETHERNET Plugged and the wireless switch on when I boot into Ubuntu. Than I'm good. Thanks though and sorry for the late response that it was fine.

  • This is out dated in the newer versions of Ubuntu using the wifi is much easier. Now it's actually as easy if not easier than the mac!

  • I agree dmanskiman...I posted this video more than a year ago when version 7 was still out...Ibex has been a great improvement with wireless!

  • @casttv I still find WiFi difficult, I'm on the latest 10.04.

  • HOW!?? I have 8.10 and I cant figure it out!

  • @dmanskiman how do u connect the new 10.4 to wifi please help? :D

  • I just downloaded Ubuntu, and I am having trouble connecting to my wireless internet, so I tried this and when I try to install the application it tells me that to install this application I need to have an internet connection, which doesn't make sence because if I had a internet connection I wouldn't be adding this application, does anyone know what I can do, or know of any other ways for me to connect to the wireless connection on Ubuntu.

  • If you actually have Ubuntu installed and not using the Live CD, you can try finding a .deb file of this program on the internet. Burn it to a CD-R and put it in your Ubuntu's drive. Copy the contents of the CD to the desktop and double click the file. An install program should start and BOOM it will install! Let me know if this actually works!

    FK

  • Wow thats a realy good idea, ill try it and ill make sure i let u knwo if it works, thanks
