I saw Van Halen quite a few times in the early to mid 80s, and to see this current footage is a bit disappointing since they had one of the most energetic stage shows out of any bands of the time. Now I am not suggesting that DLR should be jumping around like he did 30 years ago, but to stand there with his hand in his pocket, looking like he is totally out of his comfort zone is, well, like I said, disappointing....
this is a private showing.. where do you think they would be stage lighting and giant pa systems.. let alone ROOM to jump around.. let's just wait and see before judging

I REALLY would have liked to remove him from this thing,but Windows Movie kept crashing lol.I was lucky to get the damn footage synced to the audio,let alone make multiple cuts to remove him.(also didn't have footage to splice over him either,not enough angles)

Okay, Dave... you leave me no choice to comment. It DOES seem like both Eddie and Dave are "forcing" it... that is "enjoying" being on stage together. Eddie looks like he's going to explode any second and you CAN'T blame him. Being a die-hard VH fan who's seen them almost a dozen times live and owns all their albums, I have to suggest that I think they both need some acting classes to make it look better or more REAL.
