  • 3:48... nice phone bro

  • WHAT is the name of the first song, this has been driving me crazy for a couple years now.

  • As I've seen more and more Somalis migrate to where I live (Australia) over the last decade, I haven't been able to escape the fact that many of them are gorgeous

As for Iman, how is this woman in her mid-50's? I you said 35 I would believe it no worries. Stunner. Seems like much more than a pretty face as well

  • I love Iman...she is such a graceful and classy women

  • Haha she is a fat shit. Nice tits btw

  • she is so gorgeous. damn I wish i could look half as good as she does.

  • she is the ugliest thing evey that i saw lol i would nevery tack pic with lol

  • @ahmedmohamed2063 Shut the hell up! i'm a Somalian guy and i think Somalians are very pretty it's either you're jelous or you're an asshole get a life! she's stunning!!! go kill urself

  • @kerrelishful Man, Ahmedmohamed2063 is another arab racist pig with no cultural background if not that of eating garbage just like real pigs do. Iman is walking hotness.

  • @ahmedmohamed2063 if she was ugly she wouldn't be popular.

  • @ahmedmohamed2063 and another racist pig.

  • @almasry Yeh & there are too many on Youtube for my liking!

  • @ahmedmohamed2063 LOL she's not a fucking model for nothing mate

  • song name @ 2:15?

  • dmn shes beautiful inside n out!!!!!

  • @Chacha567 that's her hair, stop being jealous.

  • @jamesrstl44 in some clips it's her real hair, and in others, it's not. i'm not criticizing her for it, just saying the facts. I can tell the difference

  • OMG SHE IS SO GORGOUS!

  • BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

  • what a nonesense.jealous.

  • I not mixing anything up. Compare her features at the beginning of this video to that of 1:35 when the white guy discovered her, and of other pictures during that time period. You have to admit that her features have been changed. Her hair and skin tone have been modified to look more European. Yes, she is a beautiful women but her beauty is defined by European standards. You won't find them that excited about a bald headed blue black girl from the Sudden or Kenya. Think about what I'm saying.

  • @cjfl1962

Google Alek Wek, Angelique "Ajak" Deng & Ataui Deng!

  • @cjfl1962 man there's somali girls way pretty then her, they just dont choose to model

  • I think that she should've been cast as Storm in X-men! She's got the accent and the grace of a goddess. Haley Berry was DREADFUL :(

  • she don't have kinky hair nor do 0va 90% of somali women. You don't know wat you talking about. Not that I care.

  • @jamesrstl44 When I say kinky, I mean not straight like white people. Compare her earlier pictures to now, you have to be honest that there is a difference in her hair and skin tone.

  • @cjfl1962 : Somali women have hair like whites, either straight or curly and am talking way above 90%.If you see thm with afros then they put chemical to make hair stand(that was esp popular in the 70s).I'm here in somalia as I speak & know them in Europe. As a model she has many different looks.

  • @jamesrstl44 I have seen many Somalia men and women. Your hair texture range from straight to tight and kinky curls. Like other Africans, you all don't all look the same. I have seen some who look more Arab and I've seen some who look more African, example would be (Ayaan Hersi Ali). Keep in mind, there is a reason that someone like Iman is a world famous model. She fits the European image of beauty more than other Somali woman who look more African.

  • @cjfl1962 : I'm not somali...you mixing things up.Iman's features is somali features.

  • @cjfl1962 let me tell you something about skin color an africa living in africa his/her skin goes darker due to the sun but when they go to the west country its becomes less darker then before..my cousin went to east africa for a month came back darker!! but now hes back to his normal self i don't think she made her skin lighter.

  • Iman and the rest of her people are a mixture of Black African and other races. She looks like a typical mixed blood African. The indigenous population were African. Through the centuries Arabs, Persians, Europeans and even Asians used the horn of Africa as a trade root and there have been countless evasions and occupations. The people who live there are a result of all this history, plain and simple. They don't want to admit the Black part of their genetics due a bias or prejudice.

  • @cjfl1962 Also, if you compare her early pictures when she was discovered you will see a Natural kinky Afro and much darker skin. In other words, her hair and skin tone have been chemically altered.

  • @cjfl1962 somalia was never enslaved by arabs or white check your history. life started on the horn of africa which means all of you black or white came from us.

  • @worldpeace365 I agree that all people come from horn of Africa, all people originate from Africans. Question is do U, and if U do, than U have to embrace all people not just Somalis. Horn of Africa is the cradle of civilization, people from the Horn represent the human race. Therefore, represent well by treating all people the way you want to be treated. Next time you hear one of your Somalia friends insult another African, confront him and say "hey, this is my fellow brother just like you."

  • @worldpeace365 I never said enslaved, but I stand by the history of the horn of Africa. It was a trade route for many ethnic groups (Arabs, Persian, and Europeans) and the Romans for one did occupy it.

  • @cjfl1962

invasions and occupations?? Learn Somali history dude, Arabs intermarried with local women, ps, the idea that all indiginous Africans look typically West African is actually false, that idea was sold to us by the white man, look at the moors or Nubians, they are BLACK, but do not have typically West African features.

  • @MissPallas1 I stand by the real history of the Horn Africa. It was for many centuries a trade route for many ethnic groups. The Romans, for one were there for centuries; this is a fact. And when the Arabs left Saudi Arabia, the first place they came to was the Horn of Africa. Also, I agree with you that not all Africans look exactly the same. Nelson Mandela looks different from Sydney Poitier who looks different from a Masai warrior but they are all Black/African men...just like you and me.

  • Wow.. she is so beautiful.

  • je mappekke iman moi ossi xd!!

  • God bless her. She is my role model.

  • She basically looks like a white woman who's been dipped in chocolate. Black men say they don't black women because as one said to me, "Would you want to fuck someone who looks like you in a wig?" Iman has nice straight hair too, just like a European woman and Caucasian features, not puffy like a normal African woman

  • @caesarves somalians are arab black mixes

  • @Fairway61 : not necessarily; some & there is a whole lot of other blood from both europe & asia way way back(3000yrs & before).

  • @nololwacan not saying that you are wrong, but where are you getting 3000 years and before from? 3000 years before peoples from Europe wouldnt travel to that part of Africa for no reason

  • @Fairway61 :It's believed that somalis have a lot to do with early egyptians which at some point became a mix civilization as it's in the middle of 3 continents...long story.Read somali DNA.

  • @Fairway61 liar

  • @MrSivram28 no

  • @Fairway61 No Somalis are not Arab black mixes, that's an unfounded myth that's not supported by genetics at all!

  • @caesarves No, she just looks Somalian..

  • @caesarves Also, Iman wears fake hair.. um its obvious

  • @Chacha5678 Nope that's her real hair

  • @FightsRightsAlways im somali and i am a magiline directer for tyra banks and i look good so shut the bleep up

  • @23614013165171 mmmhhh..maybe you should take your own advice.how pathetic can you get calling one of the world's most beautiful, respectful and talented models that??.do you honestly think i care about you working with tyra banks?? or that you calm to be pretty??.no i don't what you said was worth my degrading comment and i'm not sorry.

  • Wow she is amazing :)

  • Somalis :the survived pharaohs:: "The language of ancient Egypt

belonged to the Hamitic group;today, of course, the language of

Egypt is a form of Arabic, but a descendant of the ancient Hamitic

language of Egypt, Coptic, survived untill about the fifteenth

century, and is still used as the liturgical language of the Coptic

Church.Surviving Hamitic languages are spoken across a large part of North Africa and include Somali." The english language ,A Historical Introduction," by Charles Barber .

  • IMAN IS AMAZING!!

  • one of the most beautiful womens

  • @desire1360 no, she isn't

  • name of song @ 2:15

  • The human body is nothing to be ashamed of, its a work of art. Why do you think we're born naked. The Bible is proof enough. Remember before adam and eve bit the fruit; they were naked and un ashamed, it wasn't until after they bit the fruit and their eyes were opened that they knew they were naked.

  • East african beauty.

  • beautiful and dirty rich!!!! wow!

  • Georgeous!

  • When I heard she went topless for 10,000(Which I'm sure it was a lot of money then) Walahi I was thinking Dhilo! I don't mind Somali girls doing commercial modelling and not high fashion. For real, your body is priceless. Iman is reer Mahid so she aint that far from my family lineage(her great grandpa and mine were brothers) I say this as a Somali women first and a family member second. It makes me incredibly embarrassed to see our girls go down that road. We're muslim, subhanallah

  • @Jiggahata1 :Shut up & mind ur business.

  • @nololwacan What do you mean mind your business? Did I talk about her personal life? What's your problem bitch? Is she something to you? I was stating my opinion(which by the way I'm entitled to) I don't like to see our sisters naked in the name of "high fashion" modelling. Iman knows her profession is an incredible taboo in Somalia, did I say anything about her?

  • @Jiggahata1 :It's not taboo anymore & they have same right you entitled to.Our sisters are not naked...those inject islam everywhere r the problem & they not gona share their life with u...so just sit back.

  • @nololwacan Did you just say "it's not a taboo?" Walahi, for real no offense your a phoney Somali. No one is injecting their Islamic views on anyone, Somalia is not like Iran or Saudi Arabia. But it is not good to be a model if your a Somali girl(even for today). I think she's very smart, I can't judge her as a person b/c I don't know her. I don't find the naked body bad but I don't think it's for our girls.Again my opinion but shared by many Somalis, Sorry :(

  • Comment removed

  • @Jiggahata1 :So it's ur opinion & it's also my opinion...some agree with u ,some agree with me.Everyone who disagrees with certain mentalities is phony.PEACE.I & everyone else can say wateva they want also & I'm not for debate either..let's chill.

  • @TruGamerQueen has anyone told you yet its David Bowie Imans husband

  • @iamlabelle yeah but what's the song title? i'm having a hard time looking for the song

  • I just don't get it. Why do people reveal racist tendencies in threads about Iman? Do people surf the internet for opportunities to become nasty?

  • @0TangerineD

    No.

People subconsciously seek opportunities to vent their feelings of ethnic inferiority, which manifest themselves in racist comments, a pathetic attempt to denigrate someone else's ethnicity in order to feel less inadequate about their own.

  • @dabcore lets not forget igbo and yoruba who arent bantu either

  • omg somalis got some huge fucking heads and huge teeth and they look like chipmunks. Oh my god how can anyone find this attractive? I think they are the most ugliest people alive. Their head shape are deformed(egg corn shaped)noses are ugly and flat, and they look like crack heads. They are just ugly ass, anoxeric monkeys.

  • @psychoeyez Have you been in Somalia mate? Or Have you seen any Somali with your nasty descriptions?

Additionally , god creates the way he likes, and I don’t think you had a choice to select your colour and where you born and which family to have….right? think again mate. Every nation are beautiful.

  • @psychoeyez

funny how you are trying to make it sound like something is wrong with her

yet she is the international supermodel

and you are the nobody watching one of her videos

there is nothing more ugly than jealously

  • @tony666ism overrated supermodel who is only seen on youtube videos lol She isnt no big time model. I just knew of her when i came onto youtube, yet i watch and read magazines all the time and i never heard or seen heard before. I aint jealous over her when i am a guy. I am a guy and i have an opinion like everyone else. I just think she is very ugly and thats my opinion. Now dont take your idiotic ass elsewhere

  • @psychoeyez

well she did stop modeling long ago

  • @psychoeyez wow dude you have some issues lol lol really bad issues lol

  • @Rockstafeller Right Its used in an anthropological sense...um that exactly what I just did, anthropology studies the history, migrations, etc. of people. The anthropological history and current history, of bantu groups are in southern africa. THAT is anthropology. I dont know what definition on bantu you have but its not an anthropological one thats for sure...lol

"and wtf berbers got to do with it lol?"

Yea...tuaregs are mainy a west african tribe, in Mali niger, burkino faso, Nigeria lol

  • @Rockstafeller Bantu AFRICA? wtf? um Most slaves were taken from West africa, very few west africans are bantu the vast majority of us are Of the Afro asiatic linguistic group, and Niger congo linguistic group and NIlo saharan, mainly Hausa, Warji and other chadic languages, Berber mainly tuareg, Kanuri Fulani, yoruba, igbo, Ashanti, Shuwa arabic, Mende, etc... Bantu linguistic populations are in southern africa mostly in southern central and southern eastern africa. Or east africa, ie kenya

  • @ogadenqueen

I'm sure she married someone that "ran" in the same circles she did/does. A Somali man is probably so hung up on his religion he would have suffocated her. Have nothing against those that are Muslim, but it's just too stifling for most. Their both a bit "eccentric" anyway, so the marriage works. Good for them. Anyway, we need to get over this skin nonsense. That's not who we are; we're spirit, pure and simple.

  • me and her r from the same place somali and my name is iman 2 =0 u guys probably don't care but yaaaa!!!!

  • This hypocrite needs to change her name to "Ana Mounafek".

  • Wish she married a Somali guy, instead of some ugly azz white guy..

  • name song in 2:22

  • She is just gorgeous! I don't know if she was the first black "super model", but she is sure gorgeous, and in my opinion, has opened the doors to other black models. Gorgeous! And Fathima--from ANTM--does look a lot like her.

  • @natygoly I think the first black super model was Beverly Johnson. Not positive, but I think that is who it was.

  • @ElegantPaws01 Thanks, I will google her.

  • she is alien! there is no way something this beautiful is walking the earth! i would never let her near my man...lol.. i'm playing...she is an africa gem...muaaa from your west african sister...love you!!!!! thank you for representing us well!!!

  • she's beautiflu, didn't notice it was her in mj's music video :D

  • what's the name of the song at 2:15 and who sings it?

  • Oh my god, why does every youtube video about a minority celebrity involve a race discussion??? The woman is married to David Bowie, which just shows that race is not important, and that sexy people will always find one another!

  • @MyPottergirl

Another person with a reading comprehension problem.

Where in any common that I made did you gather that I was a deluded white person?

    Get your eyes checked!

  • cameron diaz is half spanish? wow had no clue

  • @blackkat77 lol shes half cuban not spanish, Spanish people are from spain and both her parents are white, one is a white cuban the other is a white american, atleast half of cuba is white

  • @Fuzzbabby Her father, who was born in Los Angeles County, was a second-generation Cuban American, whose family came from Spain via Cuba

  • @blackkat77 ok so cuban with direct spanish ancestry...nice!

  • Only God can judge her no1 else!!!!!!!! anyway she is so beautiful as usually somali ladies!!!!

  • DHILLO QAXBO ADOON WASTO WAX ISKUMO FASHO

  • Iman was from the Nefertary Family , but the racist imperialist colonisers change the history of black egyptians and the past glory of Africa . We have to respect human dignity without racist jealous point of view

  • @sajokal20 egyptian civilization wasn’t ‘black’, they were mixed. from white to black to everything in between.

take it from an actual egyptian.

  • @ stop your euro-semito-centrists lies!study the history of EGypt , the egyptians were african indigenous people heigh civilised according to all greeks historians ,like Herodotus,Diodorus of Sicily ,Strabo , Aristolte , Plutarqos etc ,,, all proved that ancient-egyptians were africans blacks and in the last of the egyptian empire there were asiatic and european invasions ,since 6th century before christ , more than 200 thousands migrated in East Africa and not mixed ,see this somali Nefertiti

  • @sajokal20 I’m actually kinda dark.. so I don’t think I can really be “eurocentric”. &I think I’d know... ancient egypt is in location where travelers have passed through continuously; many became settlers. ask egyptologists, credible historians, who say that egyptians were very mixed and considered themselves of their own race. nefertiti mightve been black, though not confirmed bc she is from the location which is now syria today, so it is not for sure. she was not somali, that is for sure....

  • (cont) maybe you should objectively look at egyptian history. I’d know, I was learning about it in school when I was a young girl. this is what is taught in egyptian schools so maybe you’re just lying to yourself.

black people are beautiful, so I don’t know why people like you are so eager to claim a piece of history as your own to prove yourselves for AFROCENTRIC reasons. because thats what you are: afrocentric.

you don’t know me or my people.

  • @paniuroczy you are funny , you just say some lies without proofs : Do you know the ancestral land of Pount , the homeland of ancient-egyptians?; the pharaohs made trade expeditions to the land of Pount from Sahure -2500 before Christ , and Hatshepsout -1500 before christ and Ramsès III -1200 B-C. The land of Pount is Somalia , you can read the greek geographers and study the history ! Nefertiti was Egyptian not from Syria. The famous bust of Nefertiti is false found in german workshop.

  • @sajokal20 *facepalm*, her ancestry is proven to be from the AREA which is now syria. she was definitely not white, could’ve been black, but it’s not confirmed. we don’t know these fine (insignificant & superficial) details. historians that you named are not the best sources... brown has been deemed not credible, both of them are largely insignificant and unimportant historians. some of the most credible historians say themselves: we egyptians have always been and are a mixed race OF OUR OWN.

  • (cont) just look at egyptian art... so many different shades of people. from black to white. there was never one shade for all people because all they knew was people of all colors. don’t believe me? zahi hawass, most credible egyptologist, said himself. "Tutankhamun was not black, and the portrayal of ancient Egyptian civilisation as black has no element of truth to it”..."Egyptians are not Arabs and are not Africans despite the fact that Egypt is in Africa”. egyptians always were EGYPTIANS.

  • (cont) ever wonder why this isn’t an issue in africa? why is this not an issue to black africans throughout africa, only AFRICAN AMERICANS? because real africans are damn proud of their culture and don’t feel the need to prove themselves. people like you have an obsession with trying to prove to white america that black people also had glorious past to be proud of, and anything wonderful in the past which took place in africa is worth claiming to prove their point. ....

  • (cont) hence, you look at the civilization in egypt as an african one.... the suffering and humiliation your ancestors went through have fueled this need to show that whatever the whites may think of you, you had come form an ancient proud past. you wont really find many africans claiming egyptians as africans because they aren’t so desperate and so afrocentric, to prove something to the world. blacks have contributed greatly to US culture, I don’t know why you have to claim others’ history.

  • @paniuroczy kkkkkkkkk you don't accept the historians because they told you the truth and break your dream of mixed , semite or caucasian Egyptians . It is false my dear , don't dream , the ancient-egyptians were african indigenous people beautiful and heigh civilised they were from the Land of Pount , now Somalia , See the beauty of this Somali and stop your racist eurocentrism and mixocentrism and semitocentrism ! The arabs invaders since 639 after Christ , told you that they were mixed lolll

  • @sajokal20 please. you can’t even come up with something past eurocentric, mixocentric(WTF DOESNT EVEN MAKE SENSE), semitocentric? really?they all contradict each other! thank you for proving your inadequate intelligence.

I have relatives that are probably blacker than you, I have relatives who are as white as can be. I never said egyptians were arabs, I said they were mixed. black, white, brown, etc. you’re too blind &stupid to see, your arguments are pathetic. you don’t know me or my people.

  • @paniuroczy you don't know the lies about Egypt and you think only , about the present situation . You have a horrible method of judging the people and you must read some history ,about yourself ok ! I can say you that America were always mixed and lived by the whites britishs but as we know America inhabitants were the indians and they become minorities after the invasions of britishs protestants who settled down in america since 16th century ! So ,the arabs come in Egypt in 639 after-christ!

  • @sajokal20 for gods sake I never said anything about arabs, I know when the arabs came. I wasn’t talking about americans: settlers came here and people from all over the world were brought here and came here. we know what happened with native americans, but egypt is not in america. look at the map of africa. just look at the map, look at where egypt is. notice anything? egypt is a place that lies between two continents. it is a place where people absolutely had to pass for travels...

  • (cont) many many people from european cultures, african tribes, arab and even asians have traveled through egypt. that is just the nature of egypt: it is located where many people have been exposed to egypt and MANY people settled. I’m not talking about the area of egypt and the origins of the people from there at the very beginning of time when humans just came to be. I’m talking about egyptian civilization. all egyptian civilizations that we know of have always been very much mixed...

  • (cont) I mean, for god’s sake, do you really think egypt doesn’t know it’s own history? you really think egypt has wrong school system and the only people that are right are african AMERICANS? I never judged anyone, &maybe you do your research from credible&trusted historians because you obviously don’t want to hear the truth. I’m egyptian, I’ve known my ancestor history my all life. I don’t need an american to tell me about my ancestors. you only believe people who are on your side. delusional.

  • @paniuroczy really blind because you like only to dream that the egyptians were mixed and arabs or europeans ! I am sorry , with your silly way of thinking , I can reclaim the great wall of China There are eurocentrists and semitocentrists lies propagated in this world since 1798 when Napoleon invaded Egypt , but the greeks historians Herodotus , Strabo , Diodorus ,Aristotle ect all proved that egyptians were indigenous african people heigh civilised! So, Shut up with your mixture propaganda

  • @sajokal20 read my above comments.. it’s not propaganda if it’s confirmed truth by EGYPT’S GOVERNMENT&most credible sources, schools.. you just trying to prove yourself to white america because you don’t believe in the beauty of your own culture. you shouldn’t take your insecurities out on other people by taking our culture & history... you don’t know me or my people so don’t act like you do. even if what you said was true you are west african. you have absolutely no connection to us either way.

  • @paniur who told you that I am american , I know that you are racist who hate the blacks ! But let's us know each other . The history proved that ancient-egyptians were from the Land of Pount , in Somalia ,now , so First you know here that Iman is from the land of Pount ,the origins of egyptians . The greek historian Diodorus proved that more than 200 thousands egyptians left Egypt because of the euro-asiatics invasions and they take the Nile in the direction of Ethiopia and the land of Pount !

  • @paniuroczy you study the falsified history , and I know that you have not the open-minded to look for the history by yourself ! I am from the ancient-egyptians who left Egypt and come to live in East Africa , So , I have still the language and the culture of egyptians , you don't know nothing about the traditional culture of egyptians , they are still alive . but only History is falsified since 1798 by the europeans . I don't lose my time with you , make research and read alot byyyye

  • @sajokal20 wow. such lies, and you know how I know why your arguments are invalid? because you have to accuse me of being racist and hating blacks just to prove your point because you’re frustrated by your lies? I have relatives who are blacker than you, I have repeated constantly how beautiful black people and their culture are. and I know you’re lying about being from ancient egyptians. you still have the language? HAHAHAHA hieroglyphics is an extinct language! traditional culture? HAHAHAHHAHA

  • @paniuroczy Iman is more egyptian than you who are from the invaders !History : According to the historian Brian Brown « Again the representations of the early Puntites, or Somali people, on the Egyptian monuments, show striking resemblances to the Egyptians themselves. » By Brian Brown New York [1923]/ The historian Richard Pankhurst said :"""The Egyptians sometimes called Punt land Ta-Netjeru, meaning "Land of the Gods," and considered it their place of origin "("The Ethiopian Borderlands":)

  • @sajokal20 I see that retardation is a problem for you. hahahaha

  • @paniuroczy ahahahh you were surprised by the history ! ahahah I know that you feel yourself less egyptian ! May be you are from the arabs invaders who conquered Egypt in 639 in the time of muslim caliphs ! So ,if you don't know your history and where you come from , I see that you are still bedoin ahahahahahahahaha

  • @sajokal20 you lost any possible ounce of credibility as a human being when you said that you were ancient egyptian and spoke heiroglyphics.

  • @paniuroczy LoL ,the problem you don't read the history and the books ! The british linguist Charles Barber said that the somali language is a survived ancient egyptian language ! this linguistic fact can be explained by the history ; because , the greek historian Diodorus said that more than 200 thousands egyptians left Egypt and migrated in the south of the Nile,in East Africa , the land of Pount ,where they come from firstly. So ,my dear ,even ,just ,now the hieroglyphics is used by somalis!

  • @sajokal20 dear, if that was true, those who spoke egyptian arabic dialect would at least be FAMILIAR with the sounds and pronunciations of the somali language. hieroglyphics is a huge part of egyptian dialect.... no resemblance whatsoever. they are completely different.

just because I didn’t read the same fake books that told you this crap doesn’t mean I don’t read history. you are now swimming in your delusions. sad.

  • @paniu Truly , you are swimming in your delusions and ignorance ! I am sorry if you still stay bedoin who does not read an historic book ! You are horrible and you confuse all ! The arabs-muslims invaded Egypt in 639 after christ , in the time of muslim caliphs , after the prophet Muhammad ! So wake up my dear and study your history ! The arabs invaded Egypt in 639 and they speak arab and imposed the arab language , but they don't speak "egyptian language " nor the coptic ! Am I clear !

  • @ If you speak english read this:: "The language of ancient Egypt

belonged to the Hamitic group;today, of course, the language of

Egypt is a form of Arabic, but a descendant of the ancient Hamitic

language of Egypt, Coptic, survived until about the fifteenth

century, and is still used as the liturgical language of the Coptic
