This game is a piece of shit because of the lack of continues. The levels aren't thrilling and addicting and once you get far you are not going to want to do them all over again.
It's ok to compare this game to Mario but to call it a rip off is rideculous. Just because it's a platformer doesn't mean its ripp off, actually it's the most original platformer I can think of. You suck not the game go fuck yourself

Follow that logic, all FPS and RPG games are crap because they often emulate one another. Forget the elements that make the game different, good, or bad - it references another game's style, so it's a piece of trash. I don't remember anyone bitching (not to imply that you're bitching) about the Kirby/Megaman thing of absorbing enemy powers, or how similar Kirby is to Pac-Man.
I don't mean to flame, but holy crap I really don't understand that comparative bias people have with video games.

it's a legendary game series and in a league of its own,
probably Adventure Island 2 is best in the series.
And for the reviewer: if you think that this game some how similar to mario,
well, you probably know shit about games.

I think it was at least enjoyable (the game I mean), but it did have some rip-offish qualities which gave it a limited fun fating.
I love the intro though.
