Thanks for posting. I can't find much of Jarre's soundtrack to this film on You Tube. Jarre did a fantastic job. This was always one of my favorites.

im from indonesia,i just know there is a movie ,that the set is Indonesia, but they make the movie is not in indonesia, 98% in the movie telling the truth about indonesia, plus the aksen when few people said in indonesian language, almost good as indonesian peple themself

I remember I was randomly flicking through the television on a late Saturday night and caught the end of this film.

The music blew me away. Such tranquillity in, as the film depicts, an extremely hostile environment.

And of course, everyone loves a happy ending :)

@sugekeele I've always loved that last dialogue between Gibson's character and Kumar (the man who drives him to the airport).

- I'm sorry...

- Don't worry. We will win because we believe in something.

- Good-bye.

- Think of me Guy when you're sitting in some nice cafe in Europe. In my dreams, I'm always sitting at the table by the footpath, drinking coffee.

The ending is happy for Gibson and Weaver, but for the others - I'm not so sure.

@BimberMistrz Good observation. I saw that movie in the theatres back in 1983, and then again on TV two weeks ago in Bangkok.

Quite a good movie :)
