saw this movie when I was a kid Parents bought the LP of the songs and I saang this around the house for months. Also loved a song called "Champagne & Wedding Cake" Love Deano and think Jerry Lewis voice was always undervalued
they reprised it in a scaled down bit on the colgate hour- the episode that had jack benny as a guest. it may have been their finest moment on that show, too.
next best movie scene may have been the climax in The Stooge.
Being raised in NYC, I'm sure Jerry sang that song from the heart.
