aah, what a sweet dear video of this man. So nice to read the others comments that either knew him or knew of him. This is what all towns need. thank you for posting this little tribute so this dear soul.
I gave this man a drive up elmwood dr one sunday about two years ago.he was carrying his guitar and a banjo he had just bought. First time I'd met him. He explained that on Sundays he tried to get to the Villa to play music for "old folks".He was likely older than some of the residents.Great big heart. Great big loss for the city of Moncton. He will be missed.
We knew Ray from way back. He used to come over the house at Christmas time and mom would give him dinner. He would play guitar and sing. He was a simple man who loved music. We'll miss him and I'm sure if you listen very closely on a quiet night on Main street, you'll hear an echo of Ray doing what he loved best, playing guitar and singing and old country song. Rest with God...
little wigger ganster wannabee's used to terrorize the poor man, I think it was the cowboy hat he used to wear,, they'd steal his guitar, and his hat, one time they sliced his hand (forearm wide open) and his leg. For some reason the old guy would keep on playing though.
KEEP GOING DUDE!!
