Very good man. It is not very complex, but it has a great feel to it. Do you have any experience with dimarzio pickups? I need to replace the stock pickups in my ibanez S5EX1 and am thinking about putting in either a crunch lab (petrucci signature pup) or a tone zone (supposedly used by Buckethead from 04-08). Im also thinking about a Gibson 500t which is in the buckethead signature guitar. BTW your prs pickups sound great. Im just not sure how they would sound in an ibanez.. Thanks, im subing.
Try the Tone Zone & the Petrucci P/ups. Both are great. I am more of fan of Seymour Duncans. My HAMER, (Not PRS) has Duncans. A JB in the bridge one of the best bridge p/ups ever, & 59 int he neck. The magic combo in many guitars. Satch P/ups are very clean & hot & deliver great tone. Thanks for the comment. This music is almost 4 years old. My new stuff is really diverse. It promises to be my best work yet. It's still availbale for purchase online. Good luck with your p/ups.TC
Had to stop by and get me another dose of this cool anthem of yours, Troy! Awesome stuff, man! Keep on a gittin' it, bro! I wish Madisonville, KY and Houston, TX were closer together! If I ever get the chance to visit my daughter up in Louisville I will have to see if I can find that road to Madisonville while I'm up in that part of the country. :D
Yes. They are on Itunes, Cdbaby, & Amazon! You can buy the physical cd or MP3s at cdbaby, & you can buy the MP3s. fom Itunes, or Amazon! Thanks so much for the support, & the nice comment!
Glad you like it man! Share it & all the others off of my album when you can! Appreciat the support! This tune gets overlooked allot for some reason! It's the one I open my shows with! I love to play it.
very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very GOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! I liked it much. Keep going, very cool... this song!!!
I can try! But no matter what I teach you, you have to practice, & define your own style. But thanks for the nice compliment, & it would be an honor to try.
what kind of guitar is this? Im going to start learning to play and im 13 years old and blessed to be getting a hamer guitar as my first one. (possibly a hamer usa monaco superpro). comment back and your music is great the hamer sounds amazing
It is a Hamer USA FM Special! A fantastic guitar! They don't make this one anymore. It was repplace by the Studio! Good luck, & thanks for asking, & thanks for the comment!
troy, amazing, i love it and hope to hear more new music like this. My brother is begining to write and there is nothing better than to hear him play and same stands for your music being the one who taught him. great job
Hahahah I love how you make the wha sound with your mouth just like me!!! I really can't help it. No matter what I just go whaaaa with my mouth! Hehe nice song and nice playing!! Rock on!
Troy, as I watch you, I marvel at your Gary Moore-like ability to express so much in a fast pentatonic/chromatic jumble of notes, then express so much with just one note. (What a player 'said' with just one note was what always impressed Leslie West). You have a formidable command of the fretboard and a good sense of melody- I notice these on everything of yours I've seen so far. You're a truly awesome player, and I enjoy your work, it's great.
Wow, GARY MOORE is a name I have'nt heard in a while, but he is an early influence. from the 80s! "The Loner" is one of my fave by him. Thank you for listening & appreciating my music.
You've been playing guitar for 20 years eh, did you ever play with any bands during that time? I don't see how you couldn't with all the experience you have.
20 years next August. Yes, I've played with a couple! But not many! 2 Christian rock bands, & made a demo with one! Also played with a local band, & made a demo with them as well. Been teaching "Professionally" full time for 10 years now. And about 3 years ago I started this record, & released it last summer. Now I'm going to do my next one, & I know it will be better. Hopefully next one will be made with a real set of musicians instead of me doing all the work. Thanks for asking!
"Been teaching Professionally full time for 10 years now."
That leads me to another question. Are there guitarists in any well known Christian or secular bands today whom you personally taught how to play guitar?
Thanks for sharing this w/me Troy. I hadn't heard this one yet. Sometimes w/the many subscriptions that I have I do not always get a chance to hear all of the videos by each artists. I actually prefer when an artist will share w/me because I normally have a better chance at hearing more from an artist when they share than if I were to get around to returning to a channel frequently. Great video my friend...awesome skills...5 stars!!
Thanks Jack! I'm glad I sent it out again then. I know that we can't watch all the videos we get sent or we would have to take weeks off of work to do so. So your support is truly appreciated! Thanks Troy
completely perfect...! it has a positive impact in the consciousness...it will makes you a happy ..made you smile...it will groove you.. wow man...great
This is awesome, I think it's a very good theme to listen and very free! 5 stars! This is one of that musics that you listen traveling in a opened car with the wind blowing. GOD bless you!
Thanks Tone Ninja! It is a great guitar, that has only gotten better with age! Not a better guitar on the planet. Love to see yours as well! Thanks for the comment, & check out all of my videos.
Hey Tony!! First I want to say that it is really great to see someone with such impeccable taste in guitars posting videos here! HAMERS RULE! I am still in the XT mode but I am looking to cross over to the USA mode in the near future. But anyways...this tune kicks serious buttocks! You have great chops and you make it look so easy, dude! I'm subscribing, buddy! Great work! LC
Good job really like this music!! :-)
