@TheChevyBoi09 idk why u brought up a corvette but.... the gt has been out of production since 06. its also heavier and has like 70 less hp than the vette. its still up there on the nurburgring top lap times, not bad for a 6 year old design.
@Roush20115XR not really a whole lota torque more 11 RS is rated at 278 ft-lbs and the 04 GT is rated at 305 so jus bout 27 ft lbs more, and the GT is a 4 spd auto trany while the RS is a 6 spd man. trany. and heavy yea by about 400lbs,but if you compare the hp to wt ratio the RS IS 11.92lbs per hp while the GT IS 12.88lbs to hp. but still it got waxed
and i'm almost positive the GT is a 5spd Auto......but i'd have to look it up to be sure...
The v8 will always make more TQ than a v6, got the extra 2 cylinders! and like you said, the RS is a big boat so all the power in the world still gonna have that big anchor holding it back!
Not a huge chevy guy so i wouldn't really know why! As far as z28's the Lt1 is the old motor? correct? so i would assume a 10 year+ motor could get beat by a new more advanced motor.....
So i looked into it! LOL interested about the LT1, the lt1 not only was a bad engine design, it had a HOAST of problems in it and kept it from making some serious power safely! That is why they upped it up to ls2 which is a beast motor!
so the v6 mustang beats it the Lt1, because it was shitty engine and almost 10+ years old
i just don't believe you...you have no video of your car racing anything worthy of beating...and i've seen a saleen s/c whomp on a vette at the track....so i really doubt you beat him! but who knows? just because you beat a lambo doesn't mean you can beat all lambos, just means you raced a shitty driver and beat the driver, not the car!
the 5.0 is a newer, faster and best of all, we don't need all that displacement to win :D
