I love the video but I must say, I really dislike the boy's character design, when he grows up, he just seems far too calm and confused, as opposed to looking like he's seeking revenge, as for the Captain, well I simply just don't like his character design. Either way, two small complaints to an otherwise great video.

I agree with korotoni's critiques, but also agree that this is great so far - I really hope you finish it. I do love the skeletal quality that you've given the puppets - it's really right for the song.

This was very nice. As an animator myself, it was in this paper cut-out style that I saw the song in my head.

My only critiques for you would be to have a few more 'emotion' changes in the character's faces, and a few more shots per scene. By resting on the same shot for more than five seconds, the viewer may grow a little bored of what they're watching. You want to keep up with the pacing of the song, to keep things fresh.

Still, this is wonderful! Please finish it, I'd love to see the rest!
