i have been working out with success except a few key ares: armpit area, above my elbow, behind the knees, and top of inner thigh. I run,do light - med weights eat hea,thy except 1 day a week. My friend says i need to get cellulite massages (which hurt ow!) to break it down to work it off. is this true? or will another year of what im doing get it off? the weight is bumpy and hard under the skin which is gross i know... keep up the great vids, they are so inspiring!
@clarestemp86 Great! I am glad you are finding my videos helpful and inspirational. As of now, there arent any proven ways to get rid of cellulite. If it is fat, the key is metabolism, so I suggest continuing to do what you are doing, with a change in sequence and intensity often. If it is skin, the key is Omega-3's...food will directly affect the elasticity of your skin. Please be careful and I have to always suggest you get cleared by a physician before beginning any new activities. Bewel
Hi Alycia! Ive been doing long distance running for quite awhile now,but I dont get the ideal weight I must maintain. Id been into eating healthy,going to the gym,biking...is theres anything else I must do in order to lose weight?
@SuperGjose Your body is probably becoming adjusted to your workload...it sounds like you are doing a lot of cardio...how about resistance training? That is what I would suggest...not to the point where you become bigger than desired but enough to stimulate and elevate your metabolism...that will allow you to burn more fat. :) be well. Alycia
ive been trying to lose upper body weight but i feel like im ending up developing larger shoulders which i dnt want in any case. ive got flabby arms and want to get rid of these :( how should i proceed?
@tr1sha0312 I would first focus on decreasing fat or overall weight in your arms before specifically addressing your arms with weights. You may be performing resistance training with a weight or workload that is too heavy for you...therefore building muscle. Evaluate your weights...if you can perform less than 12 you may be too heavy. resistance training is essential to tone and metabolism but since you are already bigger than youd like, try swimming, running or biking. kudos! :-) do u have any clips on butt exercise and what can you tell me about running? is it good to run? some people tell me i shouldn't run that speed walking is better but i feel that when i run i feel all my muscles more engaged. any tips?
@myprincessv ody. Thanks for the compliment and yes, I have many clips on glutes here on youtube as well as on my website. Running can be very effective but so can speed walking...heartrate and metabolism determine caloric burn but running can be hard on the joints. Hey Alycia, nice workout video!! I was just googling for updated exercise. I'm hitting a plateau at this moment and just broke up with my fiance, gym is always been my best friend. This is really good!! Very useful information you have there and such an eye opener. I am very agree with you, losing weight,being well not just exercise and eating tofu, others things involved.
