  • I'm in love with my wife and I'm feeling on top of the world!!!! How easy is to get a song about love???? listening to John it all seems so easy....

  • 1 person haven't fallen inlove yet..

  • i love you, john.

  • simply exellent

  • bad to me

  • your the first dislike and the last

  • ilove this song, one of his best!

  • Sounds like hes singing in the shower....

  • @joewalshinjamesgang it's a home demo from the early 60s. his recording equipment probably wasn't prime.

  • @lennonine i know i was just joking i know so much about him and the beatles i just like how open and wonderfull his voice is. if thats prime enough for you he's my favorite beatle even over Paul

  • @joewalshinjamesgang of course, he's prime. this is my favorite song, i love it so much, i love him so much. sorry if i came off rude?

  • I love John's piano :)

  • I have this song in pianonotes, but I have never listened this! Very good song! :D

  • I am the first dislike.

    First!

  • @kisftw Why did you do it?

  • @kisftw Well congratulations !?..

  • wow, not bad, not even close to bad, its really good :)

  • This makes me want to cry. He was so young, yet he had to leave this world. He's in a better place now, and I'm glad he is.

Rest in Peace John. We all love you.... <3

  • No wunner his voice breaks at the top! check out that back aching posture!

  • A cool guy showed me this. Love it! x

  • Damn ancient technology. Your average cell phone today can record better sound than this:( And one of the greatest musical artists of all time, John Lennon, recorded demos like these that sound like they were recorded on an edison wax cylinder. Why, its only been 40 yrs max was technology that bad?

  • @PFPTHEGREATEST i personally think the quality adds to the realness of it. it's beautiful.

  • How sure are you that it's from 1963.

  • @simplybradrock

Pretty sure hes 100% sure :P It sounds like one of his 63 sounds doesn't it? And it sounds a little like From Me to You

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar The only reason I ask is because someone said that it was from the seventies. One persons word against anothers. The piano style is similiar to 'How Do You Sleep?' and other songs he recorded in the seventies. Does anyone have some proof or any evidence that this is from 1963? I guess it doesn't matter. It's an incredible song.

  • @simplybradrock Amazing song indeed. Actually when you think about it, he could've written this song whenever. Its still great today

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar This was actually recorded in his Dakota home, in the late 70's.

  • @PhillyDippy5 Really? Then why did the Fourmost cover it in 63?

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar Because the song was written in the early 60's but this is a recording that John Lennon did later during the 70's when he lived in NY, i know it because this appeared in John Lennon lost tapes and because the quality of the sound and the voice of John. The demo of Bad tome me was recorded in the early 60's, compare the both and you will recognize the difference between the sound of the both. Regards.

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar Also i know it because John used to write his songs with the guitar in the early years, and then became to write with the piano later on.

  • @PhillyDippy5 Ohh that makes sense... But still, it seems unlikely he would record this song in the 70s. And it does sound like early John, if you know what I mean

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar It sounds 60'ser because it was written in the early 60's.

  • @PhillyDippy5 Right.. and it was also recorded in the 60s..

  • @JohnLennoninmyGuitar recorded by the Dakotas

  • @PhillyDippy5 Unless ofcourse he wanted to take a stroll down memory lane =P It seems unlikely he would record this song in the late 70s. His other demos (Free as a bird, Real Love/ Life, etc) Is recorded in the late 70s, but its unlikely this one was jammed in there

  • this is just one of those songs that sends chills down my spine. you can just feel it. what this song is about, the voice, and the music is all just raw emotion. thanx lennon.

  • Great, just Great, John you are Greatly missed and much needed in todays music industry. You are light years above anyone.

  • 0 dislikes :)

  • Nobody could sing the FEELING OF BEING IN LOVE better than John Lennon.

  • I NEED THESE CHORDS TO!!!!!!! PLEASE SOMEONE IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT MYSELF ALSO. I THINK ITS IN G

  • @animal03181989 try here

ultimate guitar tabs website and just hit search if the link doesn't appear

  • iiii need theseee chordzzz

  • @soulseeker300 they are on ultimate guiutar tabs .com

  • This is not a 1963 demo (nor was it ever 'released'). It clearly has all the performance and recording earmarks of one of John's 'Lost Lennon Tapes' of the 70s (way more than it sounds like John's 60s demo for 'Bad To Me, for example). He was likely revisiting it during his househusband years for possible inclusion in the never-completed stage musical project 'The Ballad Of John And Yoko'. Sometimes I think I'm the only Beatlefan who has the facts.

  • @reverendflash thanks god for your existence Beatlefan who has the facts!!!!!!

  • I am in love with john winston lennon<3

  • @leeloutournear92 me too.... :)

  • im in love...

  • Whoever said sir George Martin is stupid obviously doesn't know a thing about the Beatles, let alone music. He was the 5th Beatle, without him rock music just wouldn't be the same.

Oh by the way this song was a giveaway to the Fourmosts who did record the song in 1963 and made it to the top 20 in the UK.

  • can anybody tell me where to find the chords hes playing here ?

  • Stupid George Martin who didn't think it was good enough to put on a record! Wonder how the complete song would have sounded...

  • @viceisthename I agree its a great song, but George Martin was NOWHERE near being stupid, he was a genious himself.

  • @crowley24 I ment that he was stupid at that moment but overall I think he's great!

  • I just heard this a few minutes ago and I absolutely adore it

  • @28zeratul...May'be George was right and John got reincarnated?

  • tumbs up if this song reminds u of your first love.

  • I love how this was an early song <3

too bad he didn't record it as like a final.

It would have been a really good song.

  • i cried at this it was that good

we all miss you John :'(

  • MASTERPIECE!! why, why, why didn't they record this? what a shame!

I'm totally in love with this song:)

  • does anyone know wherer to find a piano tutorial of this song?

  • so glad i discovered this. I cant stop listening!

  • Makes me tremble. I fail to understand how there can be so much beauty in one man's voice and words, and in the notes he puts down on a piano. I love you, John.

  • why they didn't record this? this is soooo beautiful

  • @tuippe4 George Martin didn't think it was good enough!

  • Like Buddy Holly joined Lennon for this 1.34 of joy. Genius...

  • a man this would have been a beatle number one i know it just has that signature sound you can only get from lennon

  • i cant count how many times i've listened to this because i have'nt stopped yet.....

  • great song

  • where can i get this song???

  • i love this version more than anothers.... greetings and thank you

  • wow love his voice!!

  • this is the only 'beatles' recorded version there is another version by a dif group and every one thinks thats its the beatles dummmys haha

  • 0:10 - holy shit...

  • great..!! how can one get it?

  • this is so BEAAAAAAUTIFUL.

  • amazing song... Love listening to it...

  • lol..

  • does anyone got the chords for this song..

  • @28zeratul your ears do

  • damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so god damn ruled all the current musician now and will never fade even if the world fades!!! john lennon make more music there in heaven so that if our time comes.we`ll be groovin with ur music there!

peace and so much respect here from philippines...

  • @28zeratul John Lennon was a self described atheist. They wouldn't let him into heaven if it were real.

  • can you get this demo on a CD?

  • do you have the lyrics of this song?

  • what a great voice.... the other bands that covered this song just dont get the pain in john voice,,

  • @sunriseRISE

Exactly. The cover versions try and change it into a happy Beatles cliche. They do a good job don't get me wrong, but what makes this version so heartfelt is the sense of sincere melancholy.

  • @sunriseRISE I know right! He sounds so sad yet happy!

Hes only beating on chords, i wish someone could get them for me! It sounds like such a simple and fun song!

  • this is a beautiful song, thanks so much for uploading

  • What a great song. The chord changes are so melodic. John was such a genius.

  • Great! Demais!

  • yes, he is john

  • Comment removed

  • Genio John por siempre, esta grabacion no creo que sea del 63 para mi es de la època del DAKOTA, que hermosa canciòn que lastima que no la grabò en estudio.

  • Is this really from 1963?

  • Probably

  • Yes. A little later he gave it to The Fourmost, and it reached #17 in the UK charts. Billy J. Kramer recorded it too. It was still credited Lennon-McCartney. Remember the deal they had?

  • @joeredente Never 1963, but great at every time :-)

  • @joeredente yes!
