  • first of all, DAMN YOU SKYRIM, second of all,,, how much did that thing cost?!?!?!

  • @jakstrieder what the reissue? i got it when i came out so i only paid somthing like £20 i think

  • @CobraCommanderTFW no lol I commented on skyrim being so wide spread in a comical way for a laugh then I asked about that big ass microphone you showed off.

  • @jakstrieder oh the mic lol it was about $70 i think, it was on sale on amazon.com

  • @CobraCommanderTFW sweet deal man.

  • @jakstrieder yea tell me bout it, lookin for an HD cam now but so much :(

  • blue eyes?!? mine had red eyes - which even as a kid had me like ????

  • I remember having this when I was I kid.... I was kinda disappointed to find out years later that in Japan this wasn't technically "Convoy" aka Optimus.

  • I remember thinking that Powermaster Prime sucked when I was a kid. Everyone else seemed to love him but his head and basic Prime form looked really bad too me. Oddly enough I did by they Super Ginrai reissue way back in like 2002 or something because he seemed to be far superior with his Diecast cab and hands that slotted out in super mode (plus God Bomber). Plus being able to sticker him like a sensible person really helps. I dont think I ever saw one done properly as a kid.

  • @steelsiphon yea its a fact that if you dont add the stickers to the figure then it looks insanly boring and generally crap the stickers add so much more to the figure

  • Peeking Ginrai is spooky

  • @Vange1us thats why minerva was always scared during masterforce

  • wow great review, will you or have you done a review of victory leo

  • @thefallen835 afraid i dont have that figure the only one i have was the Robot Masters one which i think i did a vid on a long time ago

  • You dont need the Powermaster just push the grill in....

  • God Ginrai here with the reason behind why Powermaster Prime has Evil Red Eyes, whilst regular Prime has those Good Ol' Blue Eyes. It's because the Powermaster Form is being controlled by an Evil Being that wants to destroy us all!

Don't believe me? Then I'll give you a little hint about where I found my evidence. A 'nugget' if you will. Check out Powermaster Prime's legs.

For those of you without a Powermaster Prime or Super Ginrai, 16:35 is the place to go.

  • I got God Ginrai from my friend in 2006 free with most of the accessories (minus the godmaster) and all of the stickers applied.

  • @jetpackman01 not bad shame about the missin god master though

  • even tho he is a brick, i still love it....dunno why but i do. good review andy

  • @jamie5824 its one of those toys that you gotta love no matter what right lol

  • Great review! Powermaster Optimus Prime (the original 1980's version that is) is the first TF I ever got and I got many years of fun out of it! Your review brought back some good memories. Even just the sounds the toy makes brought back memories!

Got to ask though...was I the only one that ever angled the guns on the arms upwards? In the marvel comic, PM Prime always had them aiming straight up and that was the look I always went with.

  • @Alan1701b well i didnt read the comics from back in the day so that never even popped into my mind, i though they're guns so gotta aim them somewhere right? RIGHT lol if i actually read the comics from then i prob would hae done the same stuff as you did

  • @CobraCommanderTFW I totally agree - those cannons of those do need to aim somewhere. Odd thing is that in the Marvel comics I read was that I don't think I remember PM Prime ever firing his arm cannons. You'd think he'd have used them whilst duking it out with Galvatron in Time War so my line of reasoning for their pointing upwards and lack of use was that they were acting as the equivalent of the smoke stacks on the original Prime. It made sense to me at the time anyway.

  • Great stuff andy! Just take a breath next time you're gonna bash Prime/Tcats/whatever for schedule breaks eh? lol

    Nice mike! Sounds good!

  • @mantis999999999 NEVER SIR NEVER!!!! i want my shows lol

  • King J-Der...talll

  • @GWolfV3 you go you buy you like

  • Great Review, Power Master Prime is one of my all time favourite TFs and Masterforce my favourite show. What was the music for the trailer to base mode transformations? It sounds so familiar but I can't place it.

  • @RigasTelRuun i think it was "His Name is Jinrai" its got a few different themes in it and i think its one from that

  • To a degree he proves that Prime never was the smartest one. Using your most vulnerable component (a human in suit) as your belly armor.

  • @Eucep i gotta believe that the human is made out of space dimond so you cant break it lol otherwise yea not bright

  • i remember doing a review on this guy myself XD you gona do a review of the apex armour? or godbomber or what ever his name was XD also congrats, your the first reviewer ive seen who could be bothered to show of the base mode

  • @digioverlord its worth talkin about i would say its nothing mind blowing but hell its another feature

  • i remember doing a review on this guy myself XD you gona do a review of the apex armour? or godbomber or what ever his name was XD

  • @digioverlord indeed i didnt do it here since the vid was 20 ish mins and i didnt want to add on another 4-8 mins ontop of that, it will be done though sir

  • I own the Commemorative Series: Powermaster Optimus Prime with Apex Armor!

Great Video Review! I really enjoyed it. Transformers: Masterforce is still an excellent transformer series.

  • @joesingle its very japanese but its an enjoyable watch and the apex armour will be looked at in the future

  • its the end of the year, you're allowed to be lazy. lol. nice primes though. optimus approves.

  • @jon3pnt0 XD optimus approves of himself, oh that crazy guy

  • no Godbomber Andy?

  • @Blackarachnis thats for another vid sir also this vid was 20 ish mins long i didnt wanna add another 4-7 mins ontop of that

  • @CobraCommanderTFW oh good, I'll look forward to that then. :-D

  • Awesome review Andy! Powermaster Prime/God Ginri is one if my fave versions of Prime.

  • @NCC63549 i can see why hes a good lil figure

  • i like this toy ive got him too, great review andy.

  • @TFKNOWLSY thanks sir

  • Tip: When you have captions leave them on a little longer so we can read them. I don't like having to pause the video to read. Oh, happy belated birthday I lost the date of your actual birthday when I switched phones. I bought the reprolables for my Legends Jazz and they really help.

  • @Thunderwing88 lol sorry i didnt know they werent up long enough

  • Cool, it´s a nice toy.

  • @transfan1988 not one to spend alot of money on but one worth having i think

  • Yoink.

  • @jiidee thats wht happens to the girls of small villages that are beneth my montain

  • Complite Powermaster Prime looks epic.

  • @Mecha82 old school but i agree kinda epic

  • Wow a Yeti, it defenately gives you clearer sound. :) Awsome review by the way, yes Powermaster Prime (the only Prime I had as a child) was and will forever will be a brick, but that's G1 for you, it's full of sturdy bricks. :D Oh and bonus points for actually showing us the true size of King J-Der. :D

  • @David315842 ah good im sure the sound will get better the more i use the yeti as well and yea king j-der is kind of a beast in terms of size, i keep it in that room coz its so big plus its great for using to set the white balance on my cam lol

  • @CobraCommanderTFW Yep, well the sound quality is awsome, that yeti should serve you well. I'massuming that King J-Der and Fortress Maximus are probably the same height toywise, either way they will tower over most toys. :D

  • Nice review Andy, The colors on this version of Powermaster Prime are much darker and show accurate than his original version and they do stand out much nicer than the original. Plus the new features added to the toy give this toy alot more to do which is nice and the metallic paint work is a perfect feature for this toy too.

  • @Skullgrin140 cheers sir glad you enjoyed

  • "Wa-boosh!" :-p

  • @dylandior123 im sayin that alot in everyday life as well

  • Cool! :-p
