That SOLOIST is WAY TOO SLOW...and WEAK! BAD PERFORMANCE!

The soloist is too timid, the trumpet is tinny, the choir is too restrained.

This is a song of tragedy and loss of hope that goes on to a shout of triumph! Your guts should run cold at "The shadow of a cross arose" and you should want to punch the air during the final stanza!

For me personally it's a bit too slow. I would be much more comfortable singing this piece at a faster pace, but then that's how I'm used to singing it.

Coming from a choir who usually sings unaccompanied, I found the trumpet a breath of fresh air.

for me just a bit disappointed about the speed of the soloist and the sound really not very good!! Trumpet and Pianist are very good. not very nice about the end. but so far the choir sounds not too bad!!!

den helige stad(the holy city),richard crooks & even a small chinese choir from canada (from john kcyu),you can see the different,they are what we call really good.
