  • Thundergod Cid?

  • IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!!

  • 65536 is the maximum possible number on a 16 bit system, just a nerdy joke by the developers. :P

  • @MrDimwit646 Actually, it's the maximum value you can have in a 16-bits address or when a value is determined by two bytes. It IS possible to go beyond 65535, but they didn't. How it is possible? Simple: In some old games in NES, ever noticed how certain values went BEYOND 255? That's because, for example, they placed each value in a digit, and all adresses following each other.

    For Time 300, it was:

    Address : Value

    ###X : 3

    ###Y : 0 (Y being X+1)

    ###Z : 0 (Z being X+2 or Y+1)

    But, yeah, dev jk

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 Good point lol, how else would 8-bit games be side scrolling? Back then the devs used to use all kinds of tricks to get the most out of such limited hardware. And what you're saying is that they have more than one byte in ram for a "single" value and when one value reaches 255 it uses the next value? Excuse me if I'm wrong :)

  • @MrDimwit646 In some cases, they did that.... In others, it is as I explained below: They used only values between/equal to 0 and 9, while using nearby adresses for tens and hundreds.

So, once, let's say, address 19EC Reaches 09 in value. If it receives a +1, instead of having the value to 0A, it rolls back to 0 and changes the address 19EB value to receive one point.

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 Ah i see now, Much better way. Do you know assembly language? C++ is the best i know :P

  • @MrDimwit646 Decorate, used in Skulltag, Zdoom, etc.

  • HOW you destroy this thing???

  • 65355 is the maxium amount of experience points in Yu-Gi-Oh the FalseBound Kingdom! Both games are made by Konami so...

  • i acually beat the 16-bit froze it and shot for long but it was worth it

  • you can defeat emerald weapon when well prepared, one thing is for sure Ozma in final fantasy 9 is far stronger, you can't use multi-hit attacks in ff-9, he can use doomsday to do masive demage while healing himself and is imune to all physical attacks and even if you'r at level 99 and made him physical attackable and weak to dark elemental attacks he can use Meteor anytime to instakill all partymembers and even if you somehow survife he wil always use curse to finish the job.

  • @Cyanakrli Meteor does random damage, and so does Curse, if memory serves. Not to mention, there's no pattern in Ozma's attacks. So, if anything, it's more a luck-based fight rather than a skill test.

  • @LapisLaser

well i i doubt that meteor does random demage as to me it is always over NINE THOUSAND whenever he uses it, i also tried using auto life (don't knwo how the english version is called) he always uses curse right after my characters are reborn, killing them again, i killed him two times by now, defeating him before he used his broken instakill/ making 75% of your party useless-attacks

  • Some people say that 32 bit blocks exist... Be afraid of that.

  • That 16 bit block thing been using gameshark, codebreaker or something.65,535 looks very familar to me,lol.

  • Ruby > Emerald

    Nemesis > Penance

  • That's right, nothing beats 16-bit! long live the 90's!

  • @gamerman3434 Hmmmm... Halo 1?

  • Wheresssss THE IMPOSSIBLE boss from Super Mario RPG???

  • Well, I should find ol' 16-Bit and use him as my front door.

Ain't NO ONE gettin' through that :D

  • Have you done Mike Tyson (or god forbid Mr. Dream) yet?

  • Well they call it '16-bit' for a good reason, huh? Hahaha

  • Lmfao that fucking 16 bit!

  • W-wait WHATTT! 65536 hits to take the 16 bit down! HOLY SHIT!

  • Do you realize that all the life amounts in those games are max numbers in computer formats?

15 is the max amount you can write in 4 bits, which is half a byte

same goes for 255, cept for that's the max with a byte

and 65535 happens to be the max amount with 16 bits, which makes a double-byte and is known as word.

    Good video though

  • I know about one:

    EVE - Mother/Earthbound Zero - NES

If you didn´t played that game, you should

  • lol 16 bit

  • what's the name of music starting at 1:50?

  • @Adjes666 Gradius 2, Stage 1 theme. However, this is the Parodius remix, which isn't too far off from the original. However, in Parodius, it's part of the medley of the special stage, and I don't think it exists as a standalone track.

  • why dont u move up or down to dodge the 16-bit block? Or can u?

  • @Iheartyoshi100 By the looks of it you can. He/she just tried to get as many hits in as he could before it left the screen.

  • 4096-bit block pl0x?

  • I thought the Ultimate Chimera would be on here..

  • @Sporiferous hey yeah! What about Ultimate Chimera from Mother 3?

  • Whats the music playing right after the mirror blocks and before 16bit block?

  • @Slixors i think its ''Summoned beast battle'' from FFX

  • Titania from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a tank, and, she STARTS as a tank! So, yeah, very strong attack, very strong defence, and does Critical hits relatively often with normal Steel Axes, which she is a BEAST with, so upgrading the axe would make her even more of a beast, like it's even possible! XD

  • Awesome video. I love obscure things.

  • 16-Bit's HP,it's over 9000!

  • Question, who is Lub Lub?

  • yep, the universe may disapear, the 16bit block will remain just like the Eva-01... Wait in fact the 16bit block must be the last and true form of the EVA-01...

  • 65,536 is the highest integer a console like that could go.

  • penance? pfff! walk in the park! the 16 block on the other hand, will never be defeted...

  • When I heard 16-bit block, I immediately realized it would be a programmers injoke.

For those who are unaware, 65536 is the biggest number you can fit in 16-bits

  • You should defininitely do one on the Shadow Queen from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. She has incredibly strong attacks that can be used in succession, decoy body parts that you can barely damage, she can take soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many hits, plus she has one of THE MOST epic battle lead-ups I've ever seen!! Not to mention you can get a creepy bad ending from her!! "... for Mario, for his friends, and for the world... it was... GAME OVER"

  • Wheres the Shadow Queen?

  • That 16 bit block is a Bad Larry...

  • Cirno is on this list

  • WTF a super resistent block i want 1 o these

  • 2:50

    Yes.

  • Dragon Warrior: Slime

    Not Red Slime...Not Metal Slime...

    Slime.

  • Yet another one which doesn't count, but the Skedar King in Perfect Dark (the endboss) can not be defeated the way 'to defeat' is defined (to drop the HP to zero), as he has a shield that he recharges once it is about to be deacticated.

  • I've got an idea...

the 16-Bit block Vs Dio Brando!

    What do you guys think?

  • This probably won't count for your series, but the Ghosts in Episode 3, Floor 10 of Wolfenstein 3D are completely invulnerable. Then again, in Wolfenstein 3D you have an HP gauge, and the Ghosts don't one-shot you. They can, however, drain your HP gauge very quickly.

I'm going to take a stab and guess that the question is whether complete invincibility is a qualification for your list of the strongest characters in gaming ever.

  • gourdos in the Kirby series are always tough...

  • Pit is definitely one of them.

THink about it. when a weapon is either forged by angels or made out of demon bone, it's regarded as indestructible. But pit can swing hammers so hard they break, using only his WRIST!

  • No offense but he means in technical power.

Like, Mewtwo's Super Special Stats in the 1st 3 pokemon games.

  • Well, I think there should be a way out of it but nobody has revealed it.

  • True, I think Goku is alot cooler than that block, but he can be beaten... That stupid Block is literally indestructible.

    (Didn't you mean SSJ4 Gogeta?)

  • Goku one of the stongest characters in gaming ever when you play dbz BT3

  • WTF?! Goku isn't the strongest characters in the games, he just an stroongest character cartoon character you mean. he owns naruto

P.S Also chuck norris is strongest.

  • At least the universe's gonna thank you for the damage you did when time's gonna come to destroy that 16-bit block :P

  • 2 words, chuck norris.

  • How could the "16 BIT" block be still floating in the universe when all of it's destroyed in the black holes? IT SHOULD BE SUCKED TOO!!!

  • You know, i bet the game would crash if you somehow killed the 16-bit block!

  • Two words: Kazuya Mishima. (T2 Kazzy, that is... and human form, not Devil form. Devil Kaz is a pushover O_O.)

  • How about including me in the next video? I'm so strong I could kick the asses of Chuck Norris, The Guy and the Yellow Devil. :D

  • 65536,16,256,all powers of 2...

Did Ken Ring help make this game????????

  • Samus Aran...c'mon, she's one of the strongest woman in gaming...I think she should be in this series. Nice first episode, BTW

  • Hmm, it's a bit hard to say with her since she gets tougher as the game progesses. But one future episode that I have planned features a character from a Strategy RPG in his strongest form so I could include other characters with changeable levels of power. But despite that, I can't help thinking about two certain battles Samus was involved that would have been the end of her without a little help...

  • That's true. Well, never mind, then. :P

  • @whoisthisgit Metroid Fusion had Samus trapped on an exploding planet. There was no way she could have survived that if it wasn't for those friendly aliens from Super Metroid.

Although I think that that's something different since it had nothing to do with her strength. Just terrible luck.

And in Super Metroid, Samus was about to get killed by Mother Brain's final form if it wasn't for that... Super Metroid that sacrificed itself for Samus.

  • @whoisthisgit The more Strong Boss is in Megaman ZX FInal boss

  • @whoisthisgit i beat the 16 bit took hours but i made history this video in spired me

  • @sonicfan4511 pics or it didn't happen.

  • @TheGrandLier just wanted to see if anyone would say somthing it didnt

  • Watch out for the 16-bit block, its HP is as high as the data type int will allow. XD

  • I wonder if the game will freeze up if someone hacked it to do 65536 damage every shot, because the programmers didn't program a defeat event for it. It happens in Paper Mario RPG, if you beat Bowser at the beginning, the game just freezes.

  • You think waddle dee will make it in this series?

Seriously, he's... impossible to beat in Kirby Superstar.

  • How about tails? Aside from the abuse, he doesn't need rings to survive while playing as Sonic.

  • I've already made an entire series out of Tails and how strong he is, lol.

Normal Cactuar aren't that strong, are they? Most of them use 1000 needles which only does 1000 damage. Unless you're talking about Jumbo Cactuar which uses 10,000 needles to do as much damage. Even then though, it still doesn't match enemies like Omega and Ruby Weapon.

  • I was just saying that when i played, the JUMBO Cactuar was waaaay too fast, and always killed me in 1 hit.

  • lol. you were doing a solo run? which game was it?

  • I actually don't remember, it was a long time ago, and I have a bad memory.

  • yeah. I mean seriously, terra break = supercharged meteor. (only meltdown + angel wing can match it!)

  • why didnt you add kratos from god of war?????????????????? he is definitly the strongest

  • @whoisthisgit FFX has Cactuar King, which has 99,999 Needles. And uses Run Away 10% of the time, depriving you of AP, gil, and droppable items.

That said, getting characters to be ludicrously strong in that game is really quite easy...the REAL challenge is in Cactuar King's magic immunity and very high evasion...which a good Blitz Ace or Attack Reels can easily can around.

  • we get the idea from Tails Abuse.

  • What about the FF enemy called Cactuar? 1-hit, and BOOM! You're dead.

  • 65536 is the highest 16 bit number

  • You rock for doing a Parodius video.

  • I thought of one boss that is in a game that is really underated.

The Ultimate Chimera, from Mother 3! He will ALWAYS kill you in one hit, no matter what. And you can't even get to his only weakness without dying. Yep, that is how tough he is. Oh yeah, the second time he is found, he is 100s of storys high in a BATHROOM.

  • Isn't that the same enemy in the New Pork City stage in SSBB who can easily KO anyone who gets bitten by it? Definitely a potential character for a future episode but first, I must try Mother 3 and see what it's like for myself.

  • wait, don't you eaisly kill chimera (in mother not brawl) by simply pressing the off switch on his back?

  • Actually, you are distracting him while the monkey pushes it, which opens another way it's better because the duck on it's head revives it.

  • ooooh

  • So the 16-bit block is something only Lub Lub could possibly defeat? If so, That's powerful.

  • I now have newfound respect for 16-Bit Block.

  • I think Alex (Which according to me is a very cool but overused name) in Prototype is extremely overpowered. But the game might be to recent for this list :P

  • As long as a character is strong enough, it doesn't matter how old/new the game he/she/it is from is. The game with the character I'm planning to show in the next video is less than 2 years old.

  • @whoisthisgit what about hector fromfire emblem?

  • Burning Heat! 3 Option Mix!

  • I wish I appeared in a video game because I'd be certain to feature in a 10-part special of this series.

Oh wait, my mistake. I thought this was the "Cutest Characters In Gaming Ever" series. My mistake, tee hee! ^_^

  • Haha, very funny, Tomato... *Starts up a fruit blender*

  • In the remake of final fantasy 3 DS (I think it is also in the original) the cloud of darkness.

It has i believe 364000 HP, and it normally does 1 hit KO moves on your characters. (and it is beatable)

  • You never mentioned that other FF boss. The one that holds the record for hardest boss ever. It actually takes like 2 hours to beat or something. Can't remember the name, will look it up. Anyways, is there ANY point in that boss? It's a bit random really.

  • 16-Bit Block makes Culex (Super Mario RPG) look like Princess Peach!

  • or omega weapon (which is laugahbly easy with The End, BTW) moar like the 256 hits in Launch Base or Hidden Palace.

  • You know about the true form of Robotnik, right?

  • For some reason, after you listed off the three FF bosses, I immediately thought of an optional boss from Star Ocean 3 - Freya. On the highest difficulty level, while wearing the Gutsy Bunny accessory, she has 120,001,000 HP. For whatever reason, I did some math. if 1 hit=1 HP, she'd have about 1831 times the health. And it took me about 3 hours to 3 hours, 30 minutes to defeat her. Anyway, just thought of that, for some reason...

Oh! And then there's Guardian, I think it was, in FF6. Immortal!

  • A cactus? Really, this Lub Lub must have bad intentions of what to do with that cactus.

"Hey, why is that cactus floating? Wha-- It just flipped me off! What's going on here? ... WHAAAA--"

And that's why cacti are sold at discount prices in flower shops.

  • Comment removed

  • luerd you to do some FF related videos with my request, huh?

  • I say this based on what was at the start.

though I'd only heard of omega weapon...

  • all glory to the 16 bit block

  • 16 Bit sure is powerful. I mainly play those ol' retro games instead of all this next-gen stuff.

And since you want a strong enemy character, why not try out a SHMUP arcade game called "Mushihimesama" (or something like that). I'm not sure which one it was, presumably the final boss. She's just a pain in the ass (I never played the game). So many bullets to dodge, it gets impossible!

  • ...thats one fucking awesome block...

  • Heh heh, I remember seeing this game at Otakon...

  • the 16 bit block, huh? maybe they're saying 16 bit gaming will never die out? what with retro gaming and all...

of course, if they made the block like that with that in mind, then that seems a little pretentious to me...

lol, this was very funny, I'd never heard of the 16 bit block before :P

  • Okay that was an odd enemy.

  • Holy shit dude i laughed when i saw the 16 bit block

  • hahaha

    65535 hp

    only take 1 damage

  • Φ_Φ

  • Two words. Cidolfas Orlandu! He is a beast in Final Fantasy Tactics!

  • wait, did i just hear the age of empires sound thingy???
