We really did have it Lucky to see everything about our sport back then. Funny Cars that looked like Cars, Drivers with Talent and Business sense, and of course the always Gorgeous Women. Jim and Pam are Originals, wish we had Jim longer but Pam is still going.
The Nostalga deal of late doesn't quite capture the era, but it sure is nice to watch.
wow,was it that long ago?? oh by the way any of you ,flat tummied, long fingernailed,up ur self, new age sensative girls out there with your head burried in your damm phone all day, take a few seconds out and look at how it was done in the 1960,s and 70s and bloody well learn to have fun!!!!!r.i.p jim!!
@whitecamry ... that sure is same George Michael, he was a local DJ here in Philly from the late 60's thru the mid 70's, and was always a favorite of mine !!!!
Moved onto NY and then started the sports machine . . .
@1:06 - "I'm George Michael" That sounds like the late George Michael who developed "The Sportsmachine," the first, syndicated all-sports-highlights newscast
Damn, that was a long time ago! I'm pretty sure that I was there as I used to go to the Pop Rod Champs there every year. We used to stay at the campground across the street and worked security one year there. If anyone remembers the "Moon Races" at the campground it used to be held in front of our campsite.
very cool video, loved jungle jim i was a little kid back in the early 70`s but i remember how good he was .pam is toatally hot even as a little kid i wanted her, lol.
The best video collection and pics that I've seen yet! I was blessed to see both of them in person when I was about 16. Still sporten' the wood! Huge part of drag racing heritage!
She posed for me in front of the tower at Atco Dragway in New Jersey 37 yrs. ago and took several shots, purple top and shorts with boots. When you are 17,you know what i mean.
