@justchillaxxin hey.. i got my cbr 600rr 04 upto 178.33 mph and i have no mods on it.. i think most bikes here in greece are faster then other country's.. do u agree??
I toped out on open highway @ 169mph, with only yoshimura rs-5 slip on, not got a few more things added to her, haven't gotton to open highway yet after upgrades.
Take it to the dyno. I curious to know the power. Should be good. Full yoshi should do a job. Better if u dyno with old tyre - will show more power( a bit:)
hey mince, what have you done to your bike to get that power at the wheels? i havent dynoed my 2006 600rr yet but it has a yoshimura full race system, kn filter and 1 tooth down on front sprocket, i would be happy to get the same power as you did
No modifications. Only slipon which doesn't make any difference only sounds better:) Did u buy your bike in USA? if yes so they all have less power(not 100% sure but i heard somewhere)
hey mince2000, nah mine is from Australia, no oxygen sensor on the exhaust system, i did notice a huge power increase when i ditched the stock exhaust and put the full yoshi race pipes, im keen to see the power output i havent dynoed mine yet
nah, my buddy wheelies his '06 600 roll-on all the time. I prefer clutching mine myself, much more control. those 900s are timeless though, love that bike.
maybe you hit 186 on the dyno but with drag and wind taken into effect it's at least 10-15mph less then that. at least i'd like to think... i've never really had the balls to top my RR out without the fear that the police would buttf*** me

i have pcIII slip on and filter and i only put down 107 to the wheel.. these are high numbers
philthethrillohio 2 years ago
you not need the clutch to upshift?
robicool 2 years ago
nope not if you shift the right way... put some pressure on the shifter, let off the gas and it should slip right into the next gear no clutch needed
Townshed55 2 years ago
same as a car trans then i guess
robicool 2 years ago
not quite, a cars clutch is dry and a bike is wet.. its in oil
Townshed55 2 years ago
Technically no, that just keeps the revs up here I assume.

Thinkin strongly about gettin one of these, just wonderin roughly how much torque they have, wud they wheelie as handy as my 95 cbr 900rr?
Perdi83 2 years ago
45 torque.@ 13600rpm. It won't wheelie unless u use a clutch. buy 1000cc or keep your 900rr:)

@Perdi83 ohh no, i have a 2008 cbr600rr and yes they do wheelie without the clutch in first, easy.

Agreed. I topped out @ 171mph on the open road, bike is stock except for a micron slip-on.

Sounds about right. My boys got chased one night from a bike event. One of them has a
600rr with a 2Bro slip-on & pc3. He got up to 172. It probably helped that he honestly weights about 120lbs.
