  • I drove the 2011. It is nice and good looking. I like the looks. I want a small suv. It is on my list. I buy suv because 4 wheel drive, safer. Better in snow. Good gas mileage. More space than car.

  • GMC TERRAIN is awesome!

  • I own a GMC Terrain. Until now its running perfect and I love it.

  • I like the design

    I just don't trust GM

  • @MetaView7 Why wouldn't you trust GM? There new vehicles are great.

  • @kidkappa04 got burnt by GM before

  • @MetaView7 it's not the same GM, things are different now. Much higher quality. Just getting into any of there new cars you can immediately tell a difference.

  • @kidkappa04 it is the same gm. their cutting corners BIG time. When ur not "just getting into one" and you had one of the "new gms" for a little while you would know its the same low quality. Their just hiding it better. @Metaview7 is right. But I wouldnt knock this car before I got into it and saw for myself because I do like the way this thing looks

  • @kjwade I have a Camaro & a Silverado both for 9 months with no problem. I drive both regularly with my truck going through absolute hell daily. they're great vehicles. you don't know what you're talking about.

  • @kidkappa04 Those are both flagship GM vehicles they put more into their more popular cars then other models. And something can be low quality and still last long. I was talking about the quality not the reliability. I rented a 2009 Chevy Malibu for about 3 months while the military shipped my car. I did not have it long enough to comment on the reliability of the car. But I do know its full of cheap, low quality materials. That is all I said.

  • @kjwade the malibu's a $17K dollar car. wtf do you expect. the material's are the same from any car in that price range.

  • @kidkappa04 The Malibu starts at 20k. I expect them to use some decent materals. If you think that just something we should expect buying a new car then u just must not really care. Get into a 17k ford, mazda, dodge or even kia and you will see what 17k will buy you today. Chevy today has crappy quality and thats the end of this conversation

  • @kjwade Those companies use more garbage then anyone. You're full of it man. The new Chevrolets are great cars.

  • @kidkappa04 They are great but that doesnt take away from the fact that they use the same cheap materials. Go get in one and feel around then get in and you will see what Im talking about

  • @kjwade I told I drive 2 new Chevys. Neither use cheap materials.

  • @kidkappa04 Once again, some of their top selling vehicles so more goes into them than other models. We have 3 Mazdas and a ford and it can be just because Mazda, on average, costs a tad more then chevy but it shouldn't be that big of a difference. And the ford (Escape) has better feeling materials also and Fords are the same prices as Chevy. I'm not down Chevy I'm just saying they use crappy materials. Your taking this to heart like you're the GM CEO or something

  • @kidkappa04 2 Mazdas, Sorry

  • people don't buy minis for gas mileage. they buy them because they want them and for performance. not gas mileage.

  • To diegodaudt: I think YOU'RE the one who need to check GMC's website! If you click Envoy in the left column of the homepage, this is what you'll find on the page you're brought to: "After years of delivering advanced engineering and innovative features, the GMC Envoy and GMC Envoy Denali have been taken out of production. But their legacy of impressive performance and comfort lives on in both the GMC Acadia and the all-new GMC Terrain."

  • CALM DOWN! You don't have to yell to tell me to check GMC's website.

  • I wasn't yelling. If I was yelling, then I would have written everything in caps. It would be nice though if people double-checked their facts before making posts on this site, as you obviously had not. End of discussion.

  • Just shut up Mr. Smartass.

  • Who beliefs this crap really? Just look up GM "planned obsolescence" then ask your self if they make good cars. Comparing an SUV to a MINI... the only way that SUV would have the same mpg of a MINI is if the MINI was hauling it.

  • It was MINI that compared their new larger/longer car to an SUV first, dude.

  • Yeah? wheres the commercial?? I think the people at MINI have more brains than the people at GM.

  • exactly. gm has been dreaming up big lies in a sorry attempt to win back customers. how many times can a customer get boned and come back for more? here is a good one (and very true)when gm went bankrupt, they asked the government if they could drop ALL warranties on ALL gm vehicles on the road, because it was not going to profit them! talk about taking care of their customers. i never owned a gm vehicle, and gm continues to give me reasons not to own one.

  • @aaronjam99 i agree. dads trailblazer is only 5 years old and the idler pully has gone out twice, gauges are fucked, front speaker blew out, rear ones dont work and stereo is fucked. my 15 y/o bronco has less problems

  • Planned obsolescence has to do with almost every product mad even import cars.

  • the revival of the gmc jimmy. LONG LIVE THE JIMMY(and the other billion cars like it)

  • erhhh... mini's epa highway is 37mpg so it's not really the same

  • Comparing fuel economy of two cars against each other is comparing the two cars against each other. It's the same thing.

  • theres comparing the fuel economy not the car itself

  • Are you KIDDING me??? What the hell are they thinking comparing a MINI to a 6000 lb SUV? Absolutely ridiculous.

  • you are VERY stupid. They're not comparing luxuries, but fuel economy

  • Yea and now lets see the gmc terrain go around a curve faster than 20 miles...o wait, it can't without rolling over. Comparing a mini to an suv, great marketing guys! jk

  • lets try and fit 7 people in a mini like clowns or mexicans or mexican clowns. the point is for nearly the same price you could have a mini car with 30 mpg or a practicle suv with 30 mpg

  • There us no such thing as a practical SUV that has a four cylinder. You can't even tow anything!

All this car is, is another pathetic attempt by GM to use clever marketing to sell cars.

"Our suv gets 32MPG HWY" *

    * But it has a weak 4 banger and is useless for someone who needs a practical SUV, we only made this car to look like were going 'green', and we are banking that the stupid American public will buy it so we can frivolously invest the small profit we are making off it.

  • sorry, mini still rules..

  • May the Best Car Win ! !

  • Let's be real here. This isn't the redo of the Envoy, it's a rebadging of the new Chevy Equinox. They got rid of the Trailblazer and Envoy because they already have the Yukon and and Suburban.

  • Let's be real here. It's not a rebadging of the Equinox. It shares the platform. a rebadge would be getting the equinox and putting a gmc grille on it. They didn't do that here. They got rid of the Trailblazer of the Envoy because they have the Lambdas.

  • They got rid of the Trailblazer and Envoy with the introduction of the Traverse and the Acadia.

  • Comment removed

  • You are wrong: GMC no longer makes the Envoy. Just check GMC's website and you'll see it's been taken out of production. They suggest looking at the Acadia or the new Terrain.

  • They do still have the ENVOY SUV. Check their website.

  • Wait. If this is true, why did they place a new 60 day warranty with virtually all their new vehicles? Considering the government rejected the "drop all warranty" request (which i think is rubbish), this wouldn't make sense as to how would GM be able to afford a 60 day warranty promotion if prior warranty drops were denied. p.s. I'm not picking a fight just presenting a question. People on the UTube love to argue.

  • they did this back in the 80s too

    put a 4 banger in a bigtruck

lets see how good it works for them now

under powered ....it looks good in the ad

160 hp is good for a mininot for a big truck

  • 32 mpg off of a big v8? I'm sorry but my bullshit detector completely Flared off when watching this! A heavy SUV no way in hell is going to achieve the same or even similar MPG rating as a small sized, light weight, smaller engine, compact vehicle. If you contest me to this fact. Then you are an idiot. So shut up and agree :)

  • I totally Agree.

  • No, it's only if you stay with the 4 cylinder option, and it only goes up to a V6. So sorry, i did have to disagree with you on this one.

  • It still will not achieve the same MPG as the smaller cars. I don't car what they claim. In fact some of the MPG estimates by the EPA were such full of bull that they had to re-improvise to more realistic onsets. Such as driving habits and real world traffic. So the ratings are actually lower not. Sorry, doesn't work.

  • For sure, how people drive makes it all strong on what you really get for MPG. People should realize more facts on that than assuming.

  • indeed, very true

  • Thanks, it really doesn't matter on EPA for MPG. It's your driving habbits. But also you canbe surprised how much safety isn't for anyone anymore. I guess 3 to 4 star ratings take full control rather than 5 stars with 5 MPG less.

  • HAHAHA. I have just bought my Terrain last week. I get an average 30 MPG with it traveling a total of 4+ hours to get from home to work. They never told you it was 32 MPG on a v8, retard, I have a 4 cylinder. You are an idiot for assuming.

  • eat 10 thousand diseased dicks.

  • nice Love it but i still love my impala more ^^

  • I don't understand why people are calling it an ugly car- It is beefy looking, very masculine. It obviously is not the slender-sleek, more "family-looking" car, but dammit, as family men it would HELP to at least have an option other than just mini-van or wagon, or round oval-shaped "soccer-mom" kid-mobiles. It's not all about the ego, but it helps a LITTLE to have a family car without letting go of that edge, ya know?

  • Dude, It's hideous. It's a shame that the GMC Envoy was replaced and degenerated into this.

  • LMAO no. Envoy has become the Acadia. This is a totally new size of car for GMC. It's the sister car of the Equinox.

  • I am shocked that the fuel economy on the GMC Terrain gets such a good gas mileage. I would expect it to get somewhere around 22mpg. I would buy this car

  • It is a great car. It has 22 MPG local. 32 MPG freeway.

  • Ummm, crossover vehicles are really popular.

  • what they forget to mention is that they probably take the least fuel-efficient version of the mini available (the S with an automatic transmission, if i'm not mistaken) and compare it to the economy model of the terrain.

  • There not comparing the GMC to a Mini there comparing the fuel economy of both which is the same on both cars, people who are in the market for a Mini Cooper will probably never buy a GMC Terrain instead of the Mini but people who need space and are really concern about fuel economy, will see this and will be like "oh if I can get the same fuel economy as a smaller car but with far more space, I'll take that" I think GM's new advertising campaing it's really good.

  • @crash0330 Well said my friend!

  • ya this just makes me want to buy a GM....LOL what a load of shit. still promoting big ugly cars with horrible performance. they are desperate. id take a mini any day. GMC hasent learned anything from the rest of the world. they will still make big ugly useless cars.

  • bullying us to watch your videos by placing them over ligitamate youtube videos will not sell cars.... It will help us make a choice to go with someone else in the future. I will never buy a GMC because YOU FORCED me to watch this video.
