  • Best version that i have heard. His voice is amazing.

  • Túto verziu si pamätám z detstva :) Proud to be Slovak

  • I love the voice, but a lot of the eastern European dubs seems to butcher the rhythm. TT_TT

  • Oh goodness...no matter what language this song is in; it's always so intimidating, epic, and dark.

  • @ZCLoki I believe you.

  • @DivestresCountess Also...so freaking creepy.

  • Thanks to Polish\Czech\Slovak versions, I can enjoy this song too...

Cause for some reason, there is no Ukrainian dubbing for this song. So, all I can do - is to listen to the closest languages.

  • @TheJamesDM I think they only started dubbing Disney songs in Ukrainian/Lithuanian/Estonian/Latvian recently. Not sure why either.

    BUT THIS SONG IS AWESOME.

  • @Adria4488 Yeah. We've already got some classic dubbings, like "Beauty and the Beast" and "Snow White and Seven Dwarfs" - dubbed in this year, I guess. Also, we have Princess and the Frog dubbed in Ukrainian. All in Disney Channel Ukraine is completely dubbed too. Process is going! Better than never.

  • @TheJamesDM I'm looking forward to hearing the new dubs- If I can find them, that is.

  • It doesnt matter how deep his voice is, the lyrics does not match the song and this seems to be the problem with all slavic versions of this song

  • his voice is not the deepest i've heard, but is still threatining. this version is awesome!

  • Finally I've found a version of Hellfire on one of Slav languages! :)

    Great voice, excellent synchronization!

    Greetings from Serbia! :)

  • @kupushtschic its also here in Polish, Czech and Russian :) greets from Slovakia

  • Do you know, who sings this Slovak version?

  • @AnickaSR I believe Juraj Peter was the one who sang as Frollo :)

  • @Ygor45 dˇakujem :-)

  • @AnickaSR Niet zač

  • @AnickaSR hej je to Juraj Peter, a dabuje ho Vladimír Jedľovský (dr.House :D)

  • powerfull voice

  • Wow, thank you kindly Kendeelyoung, this version is simply breathtaking! My favorite overall, really. I love how he sings quite slowly and the lyrics are very powerful.

  • The guy who sings this has a very good voice!

  • They way he says paris, sounds like punish lol. This one also with english and swedish are some of the best versions so far.

  • @Sandstormer9 yes yes Paríž is pronuncionated something like that :D

  • the translations are the best XD

  • Sound like Opera's Song.

  • @TheDarkJesse Zvonár u Matky Božej

  • Wow, the part where he says he'll find her if he has to burn down all of Paris sounded awesome

  • TheDarkJesse: slovak title of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" is "Zvonár u Matky Božej"

  • Excuse me =] Where did you get the Slovak versions of these movies? I really would like to watch them and get the songs of EACH Disney movie for my ipod =] Thanks

  • Awesome version! *_*

  • me encanta como encaja la letra y la voz con la música

  • superb! after the swedish, this is my favorite non-english version.

btw, is it just me or does frollo's singing voice sound very different from his speaking voice? >_<

  • There are few mistakes in the lyrics/translation :)

  • Oh I really like Frollo's voice in this version! It totally fits the character!

  • Just a little note; when the guard came to tell him Esmeralda was gone. He didn't refer to Frollo as a judge or sir, but instead a Minister. I haven't seen this movie in Slovak for a really long time, but I guess he was a Minister in the Slovak version.

  • No česky se mi to asi líbí víc :) ale i tak je to dobrý ...|

  • Who is the singer who sings Frollo? Gorgeous voice!! This is one of my favorite Disney songs. Such a powerful song, and to hear it in Slovak....Wow! I agree with Blizzarderful, it does sound like an aria from an opera.

Thank you from a Slovak-American. Thanks for including the subtitles as well. 5 stars!

  • Veľmi pekná verzia :) Hlas im dos vyšiel ale ja mam rada takmer všetky slovenské dabingy :)

  • Oooo, I've never heard this version before, and I really like it! His deep voice is beautiful, though I typically prefer singing that isn't so low. But for him, it works :)

  • Of all the versions of the song 'Hellfire', this performance is superior.

  • I`m Polish and I understand~ 90% of lirycs.

The voice in this song is soooo great <3

    I love this lengauge :D

  • I love how deep is voice is! :)

That's one very cool version! <3

(It sound opera like, very interresting)

  • This Frollo has a deep voice alright, just like the swedish one.

  • But this guy sings better, I think :)

  • This is hands up the best version of this song there is. Watched through over a dozen of videos.

    Greets from Finland.

  • it sounds like what you'd get if you mixed Icelandic with French, kinda cool

  • you can tell this is a german dialect because of how they say j like y

  • german dialect???? WHAT are you talking about? german is germanic tongue, slovak is from the slavic background... .... ....

  • Not German, Eastern European yes. Even in Polish and Hungarian we pronounce J like "y". There are many languages that do this.

  • I usually do not pay attention to the "the common vulgar weak licentious crowd" part, but this version makes it sound so powerful and almost heavenly

  • His speaking voice is strikingly like Klaus Kinski's!

  • Ok... I am one of these who dont like the voice xD It is... weird... veeery weird...

(btw... kto to spieva? ked Frollo rozprava tak ten hlas je mi povedomy, ale ked spieva, tak netusim...)

  • The voice is very good. Great emotions too. A memorable Hellfire...

  • i think the singer is pretty good. in the most versions of hellfire are no emotions and this singer do this pretty good and i like his voice^^ and the language fix very good to the song.

    i love slovak^^

  • Já tuhle písničku miluji. Už od té doby co jsi můžu pamatovat. Velice pekná. :D

    I love this song! :3

  • "Cyganka uciekła!" sounds identically as in Polish :) But it's obvious, much words are similar to Polish.

Very pretty version and beautiful familiar language, brothers Slovaks.

  • Wow, very nice singing. I love it. :D

  • i like very much his voice.!

    ;p

  • Hmm. Nicely done singing, though I have little in the way of Slovak comprehension. The voice styling fits very nicely.

  • Pretty good version.

  • its so weird during the speaking part cuz i understood them but they had such funny accents ^^

  • Does anyone know the Slovakian Title of this movie?

  • One of the following titles is Czech, the other one is Slovak (I'm not sure which one is which):

    "Zvonár od Matky Božej"

    "Zvoník z chrámu Notre Dame"

  • The first is Slovak and the second is in Czech language, but I know this film as Zvoník u Matky Boží (in czech). But maybe it was translated several times under different titles...

    (I´m Czech.)(And I love it :-))

  • (same here :)

  • this song is always scary and moving for me. I think I like polish the most [not only because I'm polish xP] but that's also good! But "that bad Esmeralda" made me laugh :D Like to a little doggy :D

  • ahahaha yeah.

BAD ESMERALDA, BAD! *bops nose with Hellfire Weekly*

  • there are some errors in translation:

0:48 I respect highly my honor 1:06 takes breath from me 1:10 zriem=I see 1:45 som nevinny=I am innocent 1:47 I have my honor 2:42 As the hell is blazing

  • this is haunting...

  • Slovak is like Hungarian: "Bosorka":boszorkány "Cíganká":cigánylány.

  • Slovak is like hungarian? Good joke, isn't it? Really different languages and these words were only brought from Slovak...

  • It's OK. It's not so like Hungarian but there are words what fit HUN.

  • Slovak isn't like Hungarian in tote. Slovak like czech and other slavic languages. In addition, "Cíganká" more like Russian "Цыганка" (tsygAnka).

  • Cíganká- polish Cyganka...

I don't think it's like Hungarian neither. From this version I can understand almost everything, and from Hungarian versions I can't understand a single word...

  • Hmm, I understood all in this version too).

  • Yeah, Slovak and Hungarian are still rather distant. While Slovak is in the Indo-European language family (including Baltic, Slavic, Germanic, Latin based languages, and nearly every other language in Europe), Hungarian is in the Uralic language family with Finnish and Estonian.

  • @madziksaw Hy !!!Ok, not you're the first, who didnt understand the hungarian version...Yes, its maybe more diffucult language than an other..I'm Hungarian, and lots of hungarian peoples cant understand this song / disney"s song ....I like my language and this version isnt better , but lovely ....

  • @realFully01 There isnt an easier or more difficult language ;) He/she understood this version because Slovak, Polish and Czech are 3 west-slavic languages that evolved from 1 old Slavonic language so they are very very similar and Hungarian is different :) Hovewer hungarian version is lovely as well :)

  • @madziksaw That's because Polish, Czech and Slovakian languages are from the Slavic language family (some claim they're just different dialects of one and the same language, especially Czech and Slovakian), while Hungarian is from the Uralic language family, with completly different sounds, grammar etc. It also includes Finnish and Estonian, among others. They're considered a very hard to learn, so it's no surprise one can't understand them without knowing them. ^^

  • I dont know about hungarian but czech and slovak are much more in common

  • i love this version

  • Could anyone tell me who does Frollo's voice in this version? It's gorgeous!

Gives much more of the creepy, obsessive feeling then the American Frollo's voice. <3

  • BEST VERSION EVER

  • omg this sir has a beautiful voice

  • please lyric!

  • Great! But I think that this voice doesn't fit to frollo like polish one.But still great voice!

  • Gosh Slovak and Polish are so similar. I could understand almost everything, without looking at the english subtitles. :)

His voice is so strong, and makes the character seem really evil, and lustfull.

  • GRAAAHH, ITS SOOO AWESOME

  • I study Russian. Since English is my native language, it's interesting to look at the similarities and differences between Slovak and Polish and Russian.

  • I think this is the best version :)

  • That was good, I like his voice. I like versions with subtitles:) (Although I'm from Poland and I could understand some words ;-))

  • Beautiful voice!

  • And his voice is very good, but seems me a bit higher, lacking more baritonal character...

  • A bit about translation :

    "zriem" = see

"Som nevinný" = I am innocent

"svoju česť" = my honour (not your!)

  • I like his voice. Although he is a litlle young, his powerful baritone voice is so perfect for Frollo. I don't really like the more deep-voiced ones like the czech, swedish and latin spanish.

  • do you allready know the greel version? ist great aswell...

but his voice here might be the best of them all

  • "zriem" mean see

  • ah thank you so much !

  • ah thank you so much !

  • :)))nemáš začo

  • His voice is great, because it's so deep! Powerful version ^^

  • Yes, my favourite version next to Flemish. At times the lyrics were really intense (the cross is my witness etc.) and his voice is extremely dramatic and powerful, just as Frollo should be in this siuation.

  • Oh, the lyrics are really powerful and so is his singing! I've always liked this version =)

  • Hey girl I just don't Understand you! You are more of a langauge freak than I am You can speak all of these lanagues. ¿Crazy! but I like the voice of this guy Singing Very Powerful!

  • Oh it's a pity I don't know anything about this wonderful language although I'm actually part-slovak D: But it seems so difficult to me x___x Back to topic,I agree with you his voice fits perfectly! It's really strong and "dark"!

  • ik ken deze film nie xD

  • niet? omggggg ! het is mn lievelings disney film <3

  • hihi <3
