dont forget that it cant beat the scania because scania has v8 engine which means better acceleration and more speed at uphills...

Well, not necessarily, if the gearing is crap it doesn't matter what engine a vehicle has.

A vehicle's acceleration, ability to climb hills and go top speed depends on the gearing just as much as the engine.

Driven both types i started with the FH12 580 now have the R series scania prefer the volvo for power but the scania has so much more space in cab.

Volvo are working on the FH16 720 and scania are looking into up rating thier R620 to R680 which would be a 620 red dot lovely motors both of them.

At home a neighbour to me is parking his R620 outside my home every night. I´m living about 400 metres from a Scania garage and som hundreds more from a Volvo garage. At my work ( a factory manufacturing paper ) I see a new timber-truck every ten minutes. A lot of them are R620 and FH 16. You should apply for my job.

well i think(not i think i know) that volvo FH16 660 is the best of scania or DAF or anything else my father has volvo FH16 660 and still he has find a problem!!!!!!!!!!!
