Obama wants change and so does McCain. In spite of Obama's constant attempt to tie McCain to Bush it is inaccurate. The primary difference is Obama has made a major change in his views and life since he became a candidate; before he was associated with extremely radical people...check it out...weather underground, SDS, religious fanatics and others similar to the Black Panther Party. These groups were once declared "unamerican" organizations. YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE REAL OBAMA>>>YET!!!
Funny how Clinton is attacking Obama on his print ads that quote her OWN book in her support for her husband's role in NAFTA. She is acting desperate and unpresidential at this point. Both Clinton's and Obama's campaigns are an insight to how they would run the White House. She is firing people in her own campaign instead of looking at her own mistakes, and he is uniting everyone.
For those who fear Obama can't win for either lack of experience or lack of vetting, consider this: Obama won 75% of the first primary held for Dems Abroad! Out of those, many work in Embassys and have to hear day in and out how America's lost her reputation. Those of us who live abroad are understanding a key diff bw obama and clinton. Obama mentions often that he will restore our image. We can't have an economy or safety if we don't restore our rep. Investment in Am. is fleeing. He's no joke.
I vote Democrat who ever it is ,My instincts tell me Hillary is best for this job. My fear is the republicans will eat Obama up. George Bush is NOT a Texan and should have been impeached . Scary , I am waiting for more debates both Candidates are good. Both deserve our respect .We all want change , no kidding.I protested in Austin several times , we had it going and ended up with NIXON !
"I vote Democrat who ever it is ,My instincts tell me Hillary is best for this job. My fear is the republicans will eat Obama up. George Bush is NOT a Texan and should have been impeached ."
Wow, that's scary. First off it's ignorant to vote only along party lines...What you said is just another way of saying "I don't use my brain." Secondly, Bush is from Texas, which makes him a Texan. Period! Finally, what has Bush done that can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt to be criminal? Nothing.
Your Nuts ,I had a close mutual friend shared with then Geo Bush,he was his tutor.Bush is NOT a true Texan, fist met him at a Civil Rights walk ,Bush was front and center throwing rocks at the mostly older crowd while Dressed in Texas National Drag. This made from page of Houston Post Fall of '68. I vote Democrat because I am a Democrat. Where dose the buck stop ,outing a CIA agent, lies leading up to Iraq war ,I could go on but not enough room . Doing Cocaine and Smoking pot not the issue.
Bush is a Texan by the legal definition...That's all I'm arguing...You can't dispute that. Anyone who votes along party lines doesn't use their brain to think about the issues and the person running for office. It's absolutely stupid and DANGEROUS to vote along party lines. I mean, hey, if Hitler had been in our country and he was a Democrat, would you have voted for him too??? Something to think about.
Bush Born in New Haven, Connecticut on July 6,1946 , Connecticut is not part of Texas
Bush attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts,Bush's grandfather, Prescott Bush, was a U.S. Senator from Connecticut.
Do you think Bush ever once voted Democrat,no of course not. You just called Bush Ignorant for voting Party Lines. Outing a CIA agent , Lying to go to war in Iraq, that has been proven.Read up and Google his brother Marvin and Niel. Illusions?
"Do you think Bush ever once voted Democrat,no of course not. You just called Bush Ignorant for voting Party Lines." Yep. Anyone who does is ignorant. True that he was born in CT.Lying to go to war. Nope.If I believe something to be true and it's not,am I a liar? NO! So anyway, you did have some valid points and I accept those. I have lived in 3 states, and claim all of them as home in one way or another. If you are a citizen of that states, that makes you a (Insert State Here)an.:)
Bush was born in New Haven, Conn. and went to boys school in Andover, Mass. He only lived in Texas periodically. Period!!!!! I'm a Texan. My family has been here when most Anglos were still in the Old World. I am a TExan, and a proud progressive. If you are not Texan, please don't think that you can speak for a Texan. That is wrong, period!!!!!
illusionistdave, I saw your profile and I kinda felt sorry for you. No wonder you're so angry. You look like you just walked out of a sci-fi convention sporting a darth vader mask. Honey, you need to get away from youtube and get out more often.
You're the one who looks like a pedo in your profile. I'm not angry. I just pointed out the facts. Those who can't handle them cry "Foul" and accuse the fact-stater of being angry. I'm very happy with my life. Btw, I HATE Star Wars. I found it rather boring.
I grew up in the 60s. Its been a long time since I saw anyone engage young people this way for change or to be part of the process. Inspiration shouldn't be sneered at. Its the stuff that brings about change and if something doesn't lift us to change pretty soon this country is going to be in bad shape.
