Nibiru is not a planet but a dark star. It will not collide with Earth, the closest position to Sun will be in June or July 2012 and it is between Mars and Jupiter. Our problem with it the fact it is orbiting in the OPPOSITE way than other satellites of Sun and will pull rapidly the oceans and the core of our planet which is surrounded by liquid lava. If it had crashed into the earth and was rotating the odds of it's orbit matching earths rotation exactly would be astronomical. I do not think that "planet" will actually hit us, but if something like that happen probably we'll really feel the earthquakes, and ocean changes months before the actual impact because of the gravity. If people want to try to say , "Uh, it settled into orbit, gradually", then why are comets still more elliptical with a fraction of Earth's mass, and haven't "settled" yet?
