Has to be the worst reporting I've ever seen. It clearly showed the 2nd plane hitting and nothing was said by the reporter except that both buildings were on fire. She kept saying they didn't know if a plane had crashed.

I was in the US watching the BBC coverage that day(BBC America) and the commentators were so idiotic...I was screaminig at the top of my lungs..'Another plane just hit!' and as you hear they don't acknowledge it at all. Biggest disaster in US history and the BBC has the most inept moron in the history of journalism manning their coverage.

plane looks different in different shots, I've spent hours studying it. atc said it basically divebombed from NJ yet some of the vids have it coming it level. I have the whole BBC coverage of that day too, Stephen Evans never mentions a plane once, not once. Later on when the news room replay a recording of Stephen's phone call, they introduce it by saying "Earlier on, our corespondant Stephen Evans called us from the trade centre after the first plane hit". This was completely misleading as Stephen never says he saw a plane.

On that day, a documentary on New York firefighters was being filmed and they happened to be near the Norh Tower when the first plane it. There, you will see rare footage of the first plane hitting the North Tower.

I was at work on my lunch break when this flashed up on TV (1PM UK). The whole canteen saw the 2nd plane hit live, although they appeared to miss it. I guess they don't have the same video in front of them.
