Sadly your argument holds no water with me, as I (the wife of less than 3 years) am the one that is complaining about the lack of, shall we say, physical attention and I am paid up in full and more regarding the house, contents etc plus all his former debts etc .Not to mention that I gave up my life 4 years ago and counting to stay home and bring up the daughter we share! I most certainly did not marry for security, I would say he has more security than I do! we are not all bitches!!
I would not say you gave up your life to raise your child. She should be your life and 20 years from now you will be so thankful for those times with your daughter. I know I am. My daughter is 18 and graduating this year and there are so many memories I would never have had if I had worked through her childhood.
