  • He was reality TV before reality TV existed.

  • For anyone ingterested, the bug-eyed tenor in the musical group is Jake Hess, who had some incidental association with Elvis at one time and was later a regular on The Gaither Music Hour, Bill Gaither's otherwise excellent gospel variety show.

  • I wish he was still here today we need men like this

  • Ya gotta give it to this guy. When I first saw him I thought he was crazy as a loon, then I found out he was pocketing a million a year and married a porn start at 70.

  • when he wasn't rambling on about money, I actually learned a great deal from him, and, as I would later discover, every thing he presented as fact, actually was.

  • sort of resembles Ric Flair

  • If it were not Doc and God working through him my faith would not be nearly as strong as it is today. He offerred the distilled power of God and the message of grace. His message appealed not only to the spirit but the mind. Some prefer the phony packaging of modern evangelism and social club Christianity. It was Scott that helped me differentiate between the reality of Christ and the sometimes embarassing cult of pseudo-Christianity.

  • Gene Scott was a brilliant man but overcome by cynicism regarding religion. His disdain for his flock might be understood by his childhood, so I hope this documentary sheds some light on his formative years.

  • Why can I only find "Gods Angry Man" on youtube!? I watched this guy as a kid with my father. Wonderful bonding experiences. I'd really love to see more...

  • ESAU AT HIS MOST SATANIC !!!

  • Whatever your criticism, Dr. euGENE Scott was an utterly brilliant man. He was one of the most brutally honest people & more often misunderstood than not. I loved the fact that people would so much want to hear him speak, he'd boycott his audience with silence until they phoned in contributions. Dr Gene could make me laugh.. something NO other preacher or televangelist has ever done.

    I truly miss this man.

  • Spiritual Warfare Against the Kosmokratoras by Dr gene scott

Anyone know where I can purchase a copy of the 2 part series?

  • For those who are interested, this bio was made in 1980

  • I haven't seen this yet, but will probably watch it tonight (being a huge Herzog fan). I scanned through the clip a little right now though, and I'm wondering if Herzog was inspired to do this by his friend Errol Morris and his film "Gates Of Heaven"...seems like they follow similar style.

  • interesting how he has his arms crossed across his chest. What is he protecting.

There were enough fools who sent this madman money to keep him flush with cash, show horses, numerous homes, expensive cars and the like. He's gone now.

  • creepy beyond belief it's amazing though how many stupid humanoids that are out there that would send him money. he had insight into this and legally scammed them and the tax system lol. no matter how obscene lol he played the system it's not his fault that people and the government are fucking stupid. they both got what they deserved ripped off lol. and mean gene loved strippers and models and then he married a porn star who is continuing the racket lol and willing sending in the big bucks lmao

  • With G.S. ya gotta separate the man from the message.

  • Doc was such an interesting guy. I could never figure out if he was a genius or a crackpot... I know nothing about the Greek or Hebrew languages, so I could never decide one way or the other.

  • "Play the same song again."

  • It great to see Mom & Papa Scott again

  • I remember some twenty five or thirty years back seeing a channel that seemed to have raving and ranting nut on twenty-four hours a day. The movie is so objective it seems to have no real point of view. I miss Herzog's usual narration which might have illuminated his interest in this fringe figure---as he has other fringe characters like Timoth Treadwell in the great Grizzy Man.

  • How the fuck did I never know about this movie until just now?!?!?!

  • The footage of the streets of LA while he played the songs while he waited for money was my favorite.

  • The greatest Bible teacher ever in my opinion. And his wife is doing an awesome job continueing his teaching. I cant thank them enough for showing me the truth!

  • @add2109 Is that his wife? I've seen comments on other videos saying she's his daughter! LOL

  • @add2109 yeah thats awesome how he has people send him money. what an awesome guy. telling fairy tales and getting paid. he rules!! you're right!!!

  • I still have some "Doc Notes" from the 90's I should scan them to pdf and post them somewhere, I even have some of the video correlating to those doc notes.

  • He did lose it some. Almost all great minds finally sole it.

  • Gene Scott was a nut, but he was an interesting nut, unlike his boring wife.

Check out The DaffyNet (memweb.newsguy.com/~sjames.home.html) to see "eWgene Scott" in his bearded, weird hatted, leather jacketed late 1970s glory.

  • I REMEMBER HIS NUMBER 1-800-338-3030. IT STILL WAS THE NUMBER LAST TIME I CALLED. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHAT HE WAS ABOUT WHEN I WAS YOUNG. I JUST REMEMBER HIM SAYING "GET ON THE PHONE, IF IT'S WORKING DON'T FIX IT. PLAY THE NEUTRON DANCE ONE MORE TIME". HE PLAYED THAT SONG LIke 50 times in one broadcast. HE'd be on for hours. from like 1am till 6am. IT pissed my parents off that i'd watch him. I don't know why i watched it, FOR KICKS i guess.

  • Dr. Scott was angry 1) because the government persecuted him out of spite, not for doing anything wrong and 2) because he spoke the truth of the Bible and he couldn't understand why people didn't get on board with him totally. I personally think he became corrupted at the end and was out of order, but he was still an excellent Bible teacher.

  • @xander7ful If you knew where he came from and who he followed before he became a preacher, you'd be absolutely shocked. Dig deeper as to whom his mentor was. He came from a group that included L. Ron Hubbard, founder of Scientology.

  • @truvelocity Tell me. Where did he come from and who did he follow? Who was his mentor? What was the group? I know that some of his friends recommended he read books on the pyramids and other esoteric subjects. Point me in the right direction and I'll dig.

  • I think the range of responses I'm getting here is interesting.

  • Crazy money grubbing MF

  • @RaoulGuapo lol

  • this is truly a called man of God. i listened to him for years. i will always miss him.

  • Man, do I miss him being on TV every night!

  • When i was younger i thought this man was nut's. But now that i am older & more in the word of God, i think im nut's

  • @wandoX You probably are insane based on that statement.

  • You think this guy is angry? Look up Steve Winter on YouTube and you'll see what angry and crazy really is.
