1. Idiot gun?? i was bouncing rounds until i changed from the 122mm to the 100mm, 122mm may have dmg but i find the 100mm more reliable even though they have the same pen.

2. should i get a kv or kv3 to take advantage of the extra slot, im done both and sold but should i get one.

3. is it a big deal with the S-51 vs. Su-14 cuz i didn't want to cross types that late with the russians and i got the Su-14, didn't even unlock S-51.

@ScreamingSturmovik Not sure about question 1. 100 mm D10T might have better accuracy. (ID10T error in IT means 'idiot' - Look closer hehe) 2. I would get both for 2 extra slots, but if you only have 6 slots that take up a lot of space. 3 Not sure really. I just wanted to get as high up on the tier list as possible to avoid grinding. lol

@ScreamingSturmovik After the new American TD line is all I know (next patch: 7.2). Could be a long time after the new American TDs come in. They've pushed dates back a lot since they announced the changes.

@puncair Personally I like the 122, but the shells are a lot more costly. If cost is an issue, use the 107.

I just bought the kv-3 on sale. Is it a bad idea to use it like the KV-2? I saved my 107mm, so I don't have to pay for it again. I haven't driven it yet either. I'm going to re-train my KV crew to the 85% mark first.

@wborg50 It drives almost exactly like the KV. The 107 doesn't pack as big a punch, but the shells cost a lot less. KV-3 has more armor, which is really nice. Slower though.

About the gift tanks... I got myself 3 free tank slots thanks to the fact I had 5 tanks when receiving all these gift tanks, 1. T-127 | 2. Tetrarch | 3. FT Renault

So I saved out 900 gold, 8 tank slots and never been premium. Haters gonna hate!

I was wondering weather to save money for the Tiger tank I unlocked or to go with the KV-3 as I'm a casual player and don't care how fast I will reach the top tiers. The video helped me alot to decide thx alot mate, I was looking forward to it and you made it relatively fast :)

While the 122mm can be effective the cost per shell is ridiculously high and accuracy is poor. The 107mm does only 90 damage less per round with 8mm less pen, which is pretty insignificant at that level. The RPM though is much better on the 107 and much cheaper, therefore, better for credits so I can afford my IS-3 here in 200k.

Yup, the 122 makes no sense, I used it for a while at first before 'wising up'.

The DPM is considerably lower, the cost per shell of 122 is astronomical by comparison, the 107 penetrates virtually the same with a alpha that doesn't lose much, and the higher rate of fire and better accuracy makes it better for sniping and serves better in lower tier matches.

Once I switched to the 107, I started earning way more. :)

I really like the 122, but its rather, inneficiant, it has a realllllyyyy slow rate of fire, and barely has more pen and alpha then the 107..

It barely has the same cost per shot as the 122. for moneymaking, it is more effecient!

@elementalterror For a long time I ran the 107 on the KV-3, but after awhile I found I liked the larger alpha of the 122. Use whatever is more effective for you!

@dungeongurunet I'm not a premium user so user larger shells is prohibitive for players like me! :) not every1 is able to get stuff like a Lowe/ufo59.

Yes the 122 has a rather large bang for its buck, but for me the extra pen is not worth the extra money per shell!

Its less money effecient. it works if you gain more for it but for the less fortunate around us the 107 is a superior alternative

you do get a garage slot with the free tier2, and you get to keep that slot after you sell the tank. selling the tank has no value and it cannot be repurchased.
