I believe that alot of atheists are good people. In fact, I even admire how they question their position everytime new things arrive. Had you asked me a month ago I would have agreed that religion needed to be stamped out completely, but i have progressed from that train of thought. I dont believe that religion should be stamped out as it does give people hope. Granted I believe that is a false hope. that is my opinion. But who am I to refuse you that comfort. Life is a pretty uncomfortable condition.

I do beg of every religious person to question their beliefs. Be very critical, and trust in science. Always make sure your beliefs stand up to scientific scrutiny and reality. If a god does exist, he shouldnt have a problem with you questioning your belief after all he would have made you with the tendency to reason.

So tell me, why is it so important to you to disbelileve evolution? Is it because it makes the "Adam and Eve" story false, and thus Jesus has no "mission" to save us all from "original sin"? I suppose that's probably it. So sorry. So sad.

Because, of course, the actual words of Jesus are not the true meaning; he meant something completely different and wonderful when he said (for instance) "... bring hither, and slay them before me." Or, "And that servant... shall be beaten with many stripes."

That's what the "why do people laugh at creationists" videos that you are afraid to watch ARE ALL ABOUT. They show creationist videos, analyze their validity, and show why they are full of childish crap.
