I can listen this again and again but still every time I listen to it I hear something new. It is like another piece of his soul that is hidden in the song.

  • Joe's music is .................. the best!

  • IT'S JEFF CAMPITELLI!!

  • este comentario te hace recordar momentos y personas especiales

  • this song make you feel at ease.

  • What video is this off of???

  • "Reel Satriani", a documentary made in '95. On that video you can see him recording several songs (like Cool #9 and Luminous Flesh Giants and , of course, this one.)

If you'd google it, you'll find it on Google Videos

  • in the des. it says.. this video comes frome the dvd by joe called "reel"

  • its like no one ever heard Clapton play live here. oh well. its all good.

  • I've seen Clapton play 5x in concert.

Doesn't make Satriani any less brilliant:)

  • I guess I said that cuz this reminded me of all the music that few have heard outside of boots. And also brings to mind Pilgrim, which is almost unknown, also from EC. Was not meaning to compare, brilliance is brilliance.

  • awesome song, i kinda dissed the whole 'Joe Satriani' album until recently. really great stuff on there now that i've opened my ears to the songs.

  • He,he ... for those of you offended by a comment made in my name a month or so ago, allow me to explain. It was not my hand that typed those words. Not sure who the culprit was, but that's what you get for leaving it open to some buddy.

I, like any human who has ever witnessed Satriani have been in awe for decades.

Quit hating me ... it disturbs my Wa.

  • that's old... Everyone says that. I guess you realized satriani rocks

  • phat

  • my personal fav satch song

    most melodic

I CANT FIND A TAB FOR IT THOUGH

    can someone help me?

  • RandyRhoads031... The best tab exists in your head. You get it by listening to the music and using your ear to find the notes. Good luck. =D

  • Or he could try Ultimate-guitar....

Im surprised at how many actually don't know of it's existence, despite the fact it's the largest guitar site in existence...

  • I used to use UG but then I realized using tabs for learning is kinda unhealthy to playing and it's better to learn things by ear. Or musical notation.

  • Don't really agree. I still use sites like UG or 911tabs, since some songs are really hard to find out by ear. And most of the time, the tabs are not fully acurate, so that is where you do have to use your ears.

  • Musical notation is usually shitly done, tabs offer a better resolution for a guitarist. Then again, the notation system is more widespread. Learning by ear is the most musical approach to things :)

  • What sets Joe apart from other super guitarists is he can blend beautiful melodies within a song. Alot of people who may criticize him, don't realize that he is so original and puts soul and feeling into his technique. One of the very best guitarists on the planet.

  • One of Joe's countless melodic triumphs before he went "chrome(dome)boy"

  • one of those classic "feel good" songs.

  • one of the most melodically beautiful songs i've ever heard.

    satch kicks ass.

  • peaceful and relaxing, joe knows it

  • Nice!!!!!

  • piss off

  • 2:20 - 2:45 awesome!!!

  • Oh yeah man, that bit is a fucking sonic revelation.

  • this song is legend :) so so so goooood

  • Is he using the JS series guitar with an oil finish?

  • its his chrome one i think, i forget the name

  • chromeboy :p

  • chrome boy and no that guitar was made in the last couple of years this is way before chrome boy even existed

  • Chromeboy existed in 1989, maybe even year before.

  • Thanks 4 this, grat song.

  • joe's playing is lyrical

  • joe is just amazing, keeps cranking em out year after year.

  • great song!!!!

  • Everyone talks about "Always", but this is my favorite song of his. LOVE the rhythm guitar part on it. Drums are sweet too.

  • amazing stuff seriously Satriani just rocks man!!!Amazing amazing amazing guitar player!

  • Joe is the ultimate all time guitarist... the shit he knows... he's forgotten more than most know... :D

    Rock on Joe Satriani..

  • I'm surprised there isn't any tabs to this BEAUTIFUL song.

  • watching this video with This satch's song "you'r my world" made me remember the beautiful days it's so simple but full of feelings !!! i'm huge fan of satriani !!!

  • msatriani un grande..hace toda clase de musica..un maestro..

  • the god of the guitar Mr JOE SATRIANI

    THE BEST YEAHHHHHHHH

  • this is some rare vid

  • a lot of felling condensed in simplicity

  • me too am looking for satriani's videos..anyone who can give me an idea where i can get free downloadable mp3 of joesat?please....

  • Listen to "until we say goodbye"

  • this vid conjures up something in my head... I wanna see(or hear) a goddam Campitelli drum solo!!! i mean wtf!! and also a m. bissonette one, just for the record.

  • does anyone have guitar tab for this song?

  • try to figure it out by ear, this is a rather easy song, it really helps if you learn to play by ear!!! the hard thing about this here is the expression and the wah-use. try ;)

  • opinions are like assholes... LOL :) I like this song :)

  • Hum, Joe Satriani is one of my favorite guitarists, but I don't like this one, way to simple and tastless T_T, and no I don't like and never liked drum brushes :S I enjoy listening to the PUM TA TA PUM TUM TA :P

  • Who fuckin cares what you think of this song man..opinions are like assholes,,everyones got one..just njoi the song or go fuck offffffffff

  • Wtf is wrong with you? quit the viagra mate. I do care that Joe is making worse songs because he's one of the best. and this song is not 1/10 of Joe's quality.

  • Haha@viagra.....not the viagra ..its something else....And how do you measure " Joe's quality"?

  • thats just your opinion it doesnt apply to everybody, just keep it to yourself, idiot!!!!!

  • You are right. it's just my opinion.

Not sure why am I an idiot, is it because comments have to be allways "I love this?".

Again, Critics should be accepted, the good ones and the bad ones. If you can't do that, I'm sorry for you.

    Good Luck.

  • although i dont agree with ur opinion, i respect it. im just curious...what makes you think of this as tastless? it's simple of course, but how come tastless???

  • This 16-beat with brushes really "says" nothing to me. The chorus guitar with bridge pickup sounds like transistor and it's not warm for the harmony wich is very paused.

The bass groove is basicly 1 note of the chord. I don't like when the bass stops playing in some parts, it removes the ground from the song.

What I do like, is the bass sounding, it's pretty fat and slappy at the same time and joe's sound and impro around 2:20, that sounds like Ibanez already. You post now why you like it :)

  • the simplicity to me is what makes it "tasty". As long as theres a strong, moving melody, which there is, than it's fine in my book. hope ur happy ;)

  • Simple and sweet !!!

  • i fuckin LOVE this song. reminds me of driving on a highway on a clear night.

  • you have taste man, not like that stupid scumbag who gave a bad comment bout this song

  • Vai is a master too... Don't make less of Steve, 'cause his technique and feel are extraordinary...

  • this song is the reason why Joe will always be the Teacher/Master and Vai will always be the pupil

joe can do so little with his guitar and cover so much more space than Vai but he also has the abilty to whip it out when he needs some speed

So much feel So much touch and grace

  • your a fuckin moron..if vai or joe saw these comments, they would laugh at your dumb statements....just enjoy the music dude..

  • yeah and your just a straight up fuckwit

    dickface

  • That is a fantastic little story. Joe sure can speak volumes with each note.

  • 5!!

  • I like the brushes on the drums, too.

  • I have the tab, but this is one is a good to try to learn by ear first.

  • anyone have tab for this?

  • AWESOME MAN...;)

    nice satch song

  • Dude... thanks so much that was awsome !

  • ~ thanks a lot! hoping to see more or satch's vids on the tube.. how abt a train of angels~ thanks a lot..

  • Those delicate little hammer-ons at the end are a beautiful finish to such positive tune.

  • wah wah pedal! that reminds me of Voodoo Child

  • Beautiful song !!

  • one of the best songs ever made!

  • a dvd called reel! this dvd shows the making of "joe satriani" disc.
