It's not necacerily how much the head is turned that creates the knockout, but how violently it's turned, how fast, sudden or forcefully it's turned. Since hooks landed around the mid point or end of the chin by hooks would leave no other option but the head to turn to the side compared to straights they are one of the best ways to create KOs as seen in many fights.

and shogun fans were scared as hell when him and chuck got into those wild exchanges. Chuck's reflexes have slowed a bit obviously but he is still a knockout artist and that fight could have ended in the blink of an eye like so many of chuck's other fights have.
Chuck is awesome. His age is preventing him from recovering as fast from a good strike but he can still bang it out. He fought well against Shogun until then. He also had a furious win against Wanderlei. Chuck only fights badasses, so losing such a fight isn't like he fought a mouse.

Silva does have a weak chin,he's very susceptible to the KO...guys like oritz,liddell are notorious for being able to take devastating shots...It was a good fight between the two,a rematch would be great,with nothing on the line..I'd bet Silva takes it this time.

It's not necacerily how much the head is turned that creates the knockout, but how violently it's turned, how fast, sudden or forcefully it's turned. Since hooks landed around the mid point or end of the chin by hooks would leave no other option but the head to turn to the side compared to straights they are one of the best ways to create KOs as seen in many fights.

Yeah, it didnt make sense to me why he didnt drop against chuck and went out with one punch against Slampage... I think its safe to assume rampage not only punches harder than chuck(not extremly harder) but caught him with the right blow.
Another intresting fact about Pages punchin technique is how relaxed his shoulders are! Look at the 2nd chuck fight, his shoulder muscle is all over the place! And relaxed shoulders = harder punches

and shogun fans were scared as hell when him and chuck got into those wild exchanges. Chuck's reflexes have slowed a bit obviously but he is still a knockout artist and that fight could have ended in the blink of an eye like so many of chuck's other fights have.
