Alevism blended form of shamanism and Islam also alevis belive heterodox islam did you mean " alevis protest groups in the muslims peoples " then you maybe rightly
@swedenman80 no you are knows wrong because alevi relief so diffrent other sect and alevi religion is heteredox islam and we are anatolian alevis so diffrent from other smilar shia groups we follow Allah Muhammed Ali and HAcı bektaşı veli hallacı mansur ahmet yesevi sarı saltık şah ismail our essence of religionis hummanity we are see every body one we are kill for Allah, MUHAMMED ,İmam ALİ imam Hasan and Hüseyin
You can't have a "Protestant" version of Islam, because there are no clergy in Islam.
Shi'ism is Ironically the strand of Islam that implemented clergy.
Alawites are not Shi'ites or orthodox Muslims. Shi'ites are more like.. say, mormons, or Rastafairians. However, these two groups are at least somewhat similar to Christians.
Alawites are completely different theologically than Alevis, who this video talks about. Alevis are Shi'ite Muslims.
Alivis live in Turkey they are like 10-15 millions and they are also Gholat Ashi'aa but in a different way
they have something like a trinity Allah-Muhammad-Ali where there are three creative principles, the latent breath or Allah, the prototypal human which is made up of active and passive principles or Muhammad and the divine light or Ali.
(Ali is Muhammed, Muhammed is Ali;
I saw they make up a whole apple, all praise is for Allah)
they pray in a different way men& women& have monogamy
I know Alawites are Gholat Ashi'aa that's because they worship Ali or consider him the incarnation of God on earth in a similar way to Jesus in Christianity
they live mostly in turkey I think in Hatai and Syria and a smaller number in Lebanon I also know that Al-Asad family in Syria are Alawites
@drMetzitli Yes. My family are Alawites. They are Ottoman Turks who converted to Shia Islam, they settled in Lebanon Syria AzerBaijan and North Iran. Her dad is from the Syrian Turkish border Latikya and her mum is from Tabriz. I have family pictures of my family wearing Turkish clothes. But the Ottoman Sunnis were in Lebanon Syria and turkey too. The Ottomans were Hybrids-the original Turks were Mongolian and then they mixed with Greek Whites to form the Ottoman Empire.
@haikallp They were just Ottoman Turks who refused the Sunni beliefs and converted to Shia Islam-when the Ottomans had the Ottoman Empire and Settled in Lebanon Syria and Turkey the Alawites rebelled and settled in those places but changed to Shia Islam. Most Muslims from those countries are racially the descendants of the Ottomans both Shia and Sunni Muslims. The

The Alevi's from turkey are originilly Kurds but they are assimilated to turks in many years ago!
In Kurdish they call it Alewi and its the same bellieve as Alawi and shia's there is not so much difference between them! and the Alewi relgion is also samilair with the Kurdish zarathustraian religian "the religian of the sun" whats excist many thousands of years befor the joods,christian and the islam!
There is so much about religian that we can't talk about because its "HARAM" they say!
they are turks. there are nearly 15 Million alevis (not Alawi). Make a good research the next time. The world is not the 50 Meters you can look forward.
and which is why they call themsevles Alevi stead of Alawi .. And Alawi are not "partisans" of Ali they along with shia are direct followers of Ali and Mohummads Family because Ali married Mohummads daughter and his kids are the Prophets grand children .. Alawis and Shia and Alevi r direct followers to the prophets family which in turn means Ali and his sons and his sons sons and their children which make 12 imams Our teachings say love the prophet and his family there is no difference btw us
this video explains nothing about Alawi and Alevi ... the alawi and shia from Lebanon and Syria are the ones the brought influence to turkey on the Alevi sect. And my Turkish Alevi friends dad told me that we share the exact same beliefs except in Turkey they do not have the letter "w" which is why they say "vallah" instead of "wallah"
The only point we alevis agree with the shia ist the love to the family of the Prophet Mohamed s.a.v, but especially Alevis from Turkey have also other Elements of Rituals from many cultures and believes. We have many differences to majority groups of Islam.
Alevis are combined with Islam and shamanism alawites are arabic shia group dont mixed two sect

no alawite are muslims but turkish alevis and syrian alawites so diffrent
theseceka1 3 months ago
Video uploader, the topic is dramatically incorrect.
Alawites are NOT Alevis.
Alawites are a Syrian religious group who believe in the divinity of Jesus, Muhammad, Moses and their disciples as Gods (in particular, Ali)
Alevis are monotheists.
There's a huge difference.

@theseceka1
"Protestant" is a religious Christian faction that opposes that Catholic and Orthodox Church orders.
Someone compared them to Alevis, I corrected them.
I also made the distinction between Alevis and Alawites.
Alevis (Turkish) are Muslims.
Alawites (Only Syrian) are not.
