@sammasseur It was till it got sued. When It opened and I went to see the show it had cirque du soleil everywhere. And I hear its about a girl falling into a dream? Again What happened... I thought it was a clown falling into a dream. DAmn Gotta go see it again. Imma ask my friend to score me some free tickets.
It is a production from the creators of cirque du soleil , hence the similarities, but indeed is a competitor. Will be seeing it in a few days, can't wait to see what it's all about! :)
@SethWildWalker It has a very loose storyline, just an excuse to connect a lot of different things together. A girl falls asleep after refusing a flower from her date. She falls asleep and enters a fantasy. When she wakes up, she accepts his flower and they get into bed together. THE END.
@RobotsandSoap The creator is Franco Dragone, and he left Cirque about seven years ago to start his own competing company callded DRAGONE. He does not work with Cirque du Soleil at all. They are competitors.
I live in Vegas and have seen this show 7 times. I'm going again Nov. 5th when my parents visit from L.A. From the music, to the lighting to the set designs and of course the incredible performers. This ranks up there at the top of my list. I'm going to check out LOVE next week. I also love La Nouba at Walt Disneyworld. That's a great show as well.

i just saw this show and w0w this is the best show i seen in my life
i perfer this over the "O" and the other circque de sole shows!
very impressing and funny too
there are some sexy seens of the actresses and some very crazy and unbelievable stunts that they do
nothing beats this show and especially live and close up
if you decide to see it it(which you shood) prefer the soak seats (you dont get "soaked" you get wet because of some funny guys dancing on purpose to wet you and make others laugh)
If I ever get the chance to see this show, I think I wouldn't be breathing half of the time from sheer awe and captivation, and cry my eyes out the other half of the time from the beauty of it all.
Saw the show this weekend. Spectacular! Thanks for this vid - I wanted to try to be able ro remember my favorite numbers, and this is an awesome resource.
To much like "O" huh????? Oh yeah there is water involved and created by Franco Dragone ("O", Celine Dion, Le Reve just to name a few) and that is where the similarities end. I do not recall any acts in Le Reve that are also in "O". Great observation DJEDDX you seem greatly informed. Make sure that when you post comments that they are backed by facts.
I am sure availability also has to do with the time of year. My husband and I just went there for a conference near the end of April and we stayed at the Wynn. We walked right up to the Wynn ticket box office and got tickets on the fourth row for that same night. The show was incredible!! Good Luck!
This show had my heart racing. The intro had me teary eyed. Even my husband got emotional and he's your typical str8 guy. I absolutely loved La Reve!! No bad seats here. The first few rows you may get splashed, but it's a round theater and all the seats have good views.
There is a discount ticket booth inside Circus Circus that regularyly sells for the splash zone (front two rows) for about 80 doilars. I use it every time I am in Vegas and have seen this show 17 times and counting
@sammasseur Wow that's great information. Do you know how quickly they sell out of those tickets because I really want to see it but I can't decide if I should just buy online before I come out to Vegas or get them at this discount booth you mentioned.
I would highly suggest you take a chance at the discount booth. If they aren't available you can always go directly to the Wynn box office down the street and buy your tickets for the same day. I have never seen this show sold out in over four years, so you will get a ticket no matter what.
@sammasseur does it sell all kinds of other shows to? im going at the end of the month and online it says le reve isnt playing at the end of the month :(
Definately worth watching, i watched this last week while i was in vega. luckily my cousin is a resident there so our ticket was only $97. They were wanting $180 for none locals.

OMG this was the best show I've ever seen. Beyond miraculous, it's breath taking and mind-boggling, and impossible to express to someone in words. This is a MUST SEE!
Went and seen this show...WOW...if you want to see something like never before, then go see these great actors as they deliver 110% each and everytime. The frogman and the start is the best, he makes the ticket price alone. If you are in Vegas, go see them.
I remember going on 10-31-09 it is a little different now, different characters into the play, but it was worth 90\10.. It was perfect in every single way.. I loved it, I wish life was the way it was described...
AMAZING..saw it on 10-30-09 in Vegas and we sat on the 4th row from the bottom. There are no bad seats because it is a round auditorium. However, I wouldn't really want to sit on the first or last row because you can't see into the water enough. The 4th row was perfect! As for the "splash zone", this isn't a Shamu show so you don't get that wet lol. Great music, great performers, and awesome strength. This show had me from the very beginning with the drapes being sucked up through the ceiling!
CrazyDoorCom, you are incorrect to say that there is not enough women in the show. There are almost equal amount men and women in the show. In fact there are about 10 married couples in the show!
I saw this about 2 weeks ago. The concept is amazing. All of the actors are in top physical condition and have amazing skills. There are lot of hot guys who happened to be shaved bald! That was right up my alley so to speak.
The 2 muscle guys were also amazing in how they balanced themselves on each other. I would see it again, no questions asked.
There's a great deal of interaction between the cast and the audience. The closer you are, the more likely you are to being spoken to, smiled at, joked with, or even hugged. You feel like the entire show is being put on just for you.
And the front seats are also the cheapest. This is the only show I've been to where things get more expensive the further away you are from the action. And you barely get spashed at all.
If you like this...you must and I mean must see "O" in the bellagio...saw it 2 weeks ago...and i would have paid double the price to see that show...best show I have ever seen!!!!
I've heard that it is. Anyway I went to see it a few days ago, it was the BEST SHOW EVER. I saw the O show last year and people said that was the best but I think Le Reve is even the better.
best seats in the house are the splash seats, you're up close and personal in an over the top, incredibly technically fascinating show that really showcases how athletically beautiful the human body is!!! I've seen it 4 times and it's always astonishing!
I could have written this!! agreed, it is an AWESOME show!!! highly reccomended! splash zone is not only cheeper but more fun and CLOSER to the ACTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I caught a flower at the end of the show on Thursday....what an amazing show......very touching....I highly recommend you go see it if you're in Vegas! :O)
I was actullay here with my family at wynn hotel!!!!!!People i highly recommend ya'll to watch it if le reve performances again...............It's very cool and touching ya'll!! ♥ :)
I was in Vegas when Cavalia was at the Rio. I wanted to go but was unable. They had a tent in front of Caesars Palace showing 3-d clips from the show. I got a flyer and ended up buying the CD soundtrack. Very nice.
Fantastic!!! Dragone is the best Producer. The best shows that Cirque du Soleil have are all by Franco Dragone. He is the talant!!!! Love all his work!!!
@manesh13metrov I disagree. Although I love Franco Dragone's productions, Robert Lepage's cirque du soleil productions Ka and Totem as well as other shows such as Kooza, Ovo, Varekai, Dralion and Corteo are all some of Cirque du Soleil'd best shows.
The show looks good but it's kind of copying Cirque du Soleil as in what they do and also with the water stage. As i said before looks good but anyone who wants to see a show that is great a is better than this should go see Cirque du Soleil.
I know about Dragone and how he first worked for Cirque and then opened up his own company and this is not one of his best. THe show is all over the place.
the show is called "The Dream" Dreams are all over the place. As such, this show makes a LOT more sense to me than "O" does or any Cirque show other than KA which has a linear story.
What are you talking about. The show has no story what so ever except that the show means dream and that the show is a mix of dreams together which just makes it a mess. At least at cirque there is a story line. Here it's just a mess of dreams or nightmares.
so than i do not work in a circus... french circus defers from classical circus.. circus is with animals otherwise its variete, or theater with disciplines! besides this circus is ment to show skills and thats what this show is doing in an amusing way.
baahaha mate u no nothing ay ......... dont judge a book by its cover ...... title has got nothing to do with the performances and plus dragone has done cirque shows
nunu72 left this comment that I accidentally removed:
Above average show...began BRILLIANTLY but quickly descended into a farce...made no sense in the end...le reve is french for "the dream"...parts of it visually stunning though the "comedians" were not funny at all and completely unnecessary and the main woman having the dream seemed to flirt from one guy to the next..what a hoe!! lol
And don't even get me started on the 3 tango dancers..what was their point?
The tango dancers were never part of the original show and are completely pointless. They were added last year to cash in on "Dancing with the Stars". Fans of the show are looking forward to when these segments are tossed. Even cast members rejected these scenes when they were inserted.
The tango dancers were also added to replace one of the clown acts that was in the show for a long time (this was told to me by a member of the crew of the show). Given the fact that the Le Reve dancers will actually be appearing on Dancing with the Stars next week, you are probably right.
Simply spectacular. The show, the best arcobatics the most athletic and stunning display of human ability I have ever cast my eyes on. It was worth the 10,000 mile trip to Vegas on its own.
I have just come back from Vegas and saw the show for the second and I am sure not the last time - it is still the best I have seen EVER - I flew all the way from London to see it and will do it again without blinking an eye lid. If you go to Vegas and do not see it, you deserve to be hung drawn and quartered - it is an absolute must SEE!!!!
I loved it. I would really like to see the other cirque shows. I've only seen Reno's Balagan and Blue Man Group as far as other shows go. I saw Phantom... But I was under the stage in the music pit.
To all those who saw Le Reve I have a question: Have you seen any Cirque Du Soleil show live?
I was VERY disappointed with it. Terrible choreography, average costume design and lack of any real stunts and the sensuality of a Cirque show. I paid 99 bucks and I am really upset. Half the audience loved it......the other half that are verterans of shows like Cirque Du Soleil were disappointed. I saw KA the next night.....blows Reve out of the water and not even the best Cirque show I have seen.
Perhaps you were sitting so far back from the front in KA and there were alot more people there. The bad thing about KA was you have to be in the first few rows otherwise it's not nearly as enjoyable.
That was the only thing better about Reve, was that it's a much more intimate setting, which is how a show should be. Still, it was one of the worst shows I have ever seen, IMO.
Personally, I think you are an idiot if you think it was so great. Just my opinion....like yours.
Cirque du Soleil is actually coming out with another show but this time it's at the Luxor in Las Vegas and it stars Criss Angel(from mindfreak. the title of the show is called, "Believe"which doesn't come out until next month. You can find tickets and more information at cirquedusoleil. com/believe
I saw the show last night at Wynn Las Vegas, and it's worth every penny you pay. Great performances, the music, the lights, everything's great. A must see. This is the kind of show you would like to see more than once...LOVED IT!!!!
The show looks amazing and the score is fantastic, but I can't help but think when I see this: People in some parts of the world are dying because they have no access to clean, fresh water...
Saw Le Reve with a VERY special girl, on a very special night, I recall that it was a terrific show. Once in a lifetime. I've seen all the Cirques in Vegas and I rate this one (by Dragone) right up at the top with "O". Zumanity...at the bottom. Do enjoy, with someone equally special.
I'm going to Las Vegas in 6 months and really want to visit this show with my family, it looks fabulous! I'm afraid though I need to arrange my tickets fast to make sure it isn't sold out before I get the chance too, I'm however wondering what the tickets cost.
If anyone who has been there knows could you please let me know?
This show is never ever sold out. You can buy tickets right up until show time. Get splash zone tickets for the first two rows. They are the cheapest at 99 dollars
$ 108-168 range last night (Sat.) All the seats are great(lower ones you're close to the pool action but have to look up for many parts).
Well worth the $ which we bought at 25% off 3.5 hrs prior(sat in mid rows). I'd love to know more about the preparation/training it took. and yes, the video doesn't begin to do it justice.
Sending my wife/daughter when they go out in Dec. Awesome !!
go now, run to las vegas and see this amazing show. It's so unlike anything I've ever seen. It's so beautiful, amazing, they are so talented. The music is fantastic. Go now, I loved it..want to take everyone I know to see it...L
LeReve is certainly the best show I have seen in years, I can not believe that it is closing at the end of the year!!! Why - I flew all the way from London to see it in January and am planning to fly back to Vegas to see it before it closes - what a shame - does nayone know if it will travel or is that it!!!!
Saw this show this past Saturday! The most amazing show I have ever seen. The performers are AMAZING! A must see in Vegas!

If the Show ever comes back to Vegas, and I hope it does, see Cavalia. I saw it at the Rio, loved it!
saturnhexagon 2 years ago
I was in Vegas when Cavalia was at the Rio. I wanted to go but was unable. They had a tent in front of Caesars Palace showing 3-d clips from the show. I got a flyer and ended up buying the CD soundtrack. Very nice.

Yes, Mystere is by Franco. I saw LOVE last July and it was incredible. Will be seeing it again in two weeks.
sammasseur 3 years ago
Was the show "Mystere" also created by Franco Dragone?
I would like to see that "show" and also "The Beatles:Love".
asaraullo05 3 years ago
I would suggest hurrying to see Love. It is rumored to be closing sometime in the near future
IsabellaIvy 2 years ago
Fantastic!!! Dragone is the best Producer. The best shows that Cirque du Soleil have are all by Franco Dragone. He is the talant!!!! Love all his work!!!
manesh13metrov 3 years ago
@manesh13metrov I disagree. Although I love Franco Dragone's productions, Robert Lepage's cirque du soleil productions Ka and Totem as well as other shows such as Kooza, Ovo, Varekai, Dralion and Corteo are all some of Cirque du Soleil'd best shows.

best show that i've ever seen....i wanna watch it again!
VTGRLDRESSINBLU 3 years ago
The show looks good but it's kind of copying Cirque du Soleil as in what they do and also with the water stage. As i said before looks good but anyone who wants to see a show that is great a is better than this should go see Cirque du Soleil.
cirque144 3 years ago
Do your homework about the creator and you will understand!
boxytoes 3 years ago
I know about Dragone and how he first worked for Cirque and then opened up his own company and this is not one of his best. THe show is all over the place.
cirque144 3 years ago
the show is called "The Dream" Dreams are all over the place. As such, this show makes a LOT more sense to me than "O" does or any Cirque show other than KA which has a linear story.
afghanhound 3 years ago
What are you talking about. The show has no story what so ever except that the show means dream and that the show is a mix of dreams together which just makes it a mess. At least at cirque there is a story line. Here it's just a mess of dreams or nightmares.
cirque144 3 years ago
so than i do not work in a circus... french circus defers from classical circus.. circus is with animals otherwise its variete, or theater with disciplines! besides this circus is ment to show skills and thats what this show is doing in an amusing way.
FrankvandenHeuvel85 2 years ago
baahaha mate u no nothing ay ......... dont judge a book by its cover ...... title has got nothing to do with the performances and plus dragone has done cirque shows
greggo246 2 years ago
the show is made by the cirque de soleil!
all the shows that say that group are i think are made by the same person so yeah !

Best show EVER!!! Loved it!!!
ankx1 3 years ago
nunu72 left this comment that I accidentally removed:
Above average show...began BRILLIANTLY but quickly descended into a farce...made no sense in the end...le reve is french for "the dream"...parts of it visually stunning though the "comedians" were not funny at all and completely unnecessary and the main woman having the dream seemed to flirt from one guy to the next..what a hoe!! lol
And don't even get me started on the 3 tango dancers..what was their point?
sammasseur 3 years ago
The tango dancers were never part of the original show and are completely pointless. They were added last year to cash in on "Dancing with the Stars". Fans of the show are looking forward to when these segments are tossed. Even cast members rejected these scenes when they were inserted.
sammasseur 3 years ago
The tango dancers were also added to replace one of the clown acts that was in the show for a long time (this was told to me by a member of the crew of the show). Given the fact that the Le Reve dancers will actually be appearing on Dancing with the Stars next week, you are probably right.

This is one of THE best masterpieces of Franco Dragone's works I have EVER seen.
BEST show in Las Vegas.

The man in red
looked cooler with a shaved head
and no facial hair,
don't know why.
I loved it. I would really like to see the other cirque shows. I've only seen Reno's Balagan and Blue Man Group as far as other shows go. I saw Phantom... But I was under the stage in the music pit.
rayjinflo 3 years ago
To all those who saw Le Reve I have a question: Have you seen any Cirque Du Soleil show live?
I was VERY disappointed with it. Terrible choreography, average costume design and lack of any real stunts and the sensuality of a Cirque show. I paid 99 bucks and I am really upset. Half the audience loved it......the other half that are verterans of shows like Cirque Du Soleil were disappointed. I saw KA the next night.....blows Reve out of the water and not even the best Cirque show I have seen.
simbasa12 3 years ago
It's only 99 bucks man... dont sweat about it.
fugernut 3 years ago
Whoever wrote this is an idiot! Le Reve is 10 times better than Ka.....Ka put me to sleep!!!!
janisg123 3 years ago
Perhaps you were sitting so far back from the front in KA and there were alot more people there. The bad thing about KA was you have to be in the first few rows otherwise it's not nearly as enjoyable.
That was the only thing better about Reve, was that it's a much more intimate setting, which is how a show should be. Still, it was one of the worst shows I have ever seen, IMO.
Personally, I think you are an idiot if you think it was so great. Just my opinion....like yours.
simbasa12 3 years ago
Cirque du Soleil is actually coming out with another show but this time it's at the Luxor in Las Vegas and it stars Criss Angel(from mindfreak. the title of the show is called, "Believe"which doesn't come out until next month. You can find tickets and more information at cirquedusoleil. com/believe

Tijger2099 3 years ago
This show is never ever sold out. You can buy tickets right up until show time. Get splash zone tickets for the first two rows. They are the cheapest at 99 dollars
sammasseur 3 years ago
$ 108-168 range last night (Sat.) All the seats are great(lower ones you're close to the pool action but have to look up for many parts).
Well worth the $ which we bought at 25% off 3.5 hrs prior(sat in mid rows). I'd love to know more about the preparation/training it took. and yes, the video doesn't begin to do it justice.
Sending my wife/daughter when they go out in Dec. Awesome !!

LeReve is certainly the best show I have seen in years, I can not believe that it is closing at the end of the year!!! Why - I flew all the way from London to see it in January and am planning to fly back to Vegas to see it before it closes - what a shame - does nayone know if it will travel or is that it!!!!
The show is pure genius!
shauncrause 3 years ago
Who told you it was closing? There is no way this show could travel. They had to spend 110 million dollars for the theater. It can't go on the road!
