  • Great memories of this wonderful song .. the band to my mind always had a such a nice, in-the-groove, 'relaxed' feel to the music ..

  • Hi Glenda, Gled you enjoyed Such a long time ago !!!! Hope all is well !! Cheers Pete....

  • Love this Peter, thanks for posting!

  • If you do catch up with him give him our best!

  • Wow...I knew Jamie Byrne in the mid 80's...sadly lost touch at the end of that decade. He was a really decent, nice guy. At the time he as a salesman for an insurance company, but twice a month, the pair of us would get together and he would teach me Flamenco guitar, he was brilliant. He told me stories of how he had been in a popular band in the 60's, but until now I had never heard them..like I said..he as such a nice guy..hope he is still rockin' on..thank you for posting this vid...

  • Thanks Lucio, They were great venues in Melbourne in those days, I think the venues & the audiences really bought the best out of all the groups who were lucky enough to play them! I don't have any vision of 'What is Soul' and am limited to just the great pics Rods Stone took in those days, Thank god for his passion for photography! And I don't want to keep repeating the same pics in the clips! Who knows something may show up I can use! Sunshine Valentine has a nice clip of it! Cheers

  • When will you insert the Groove's recording of "What is Soul" Pete? A great song, a terrific recording and some very poignant vocals. How often have I applauded you after having heard you singing that at Sebastian!!! Such memories!!!!!!
