Greg, we are from northern Iraq (kurds), my father is 86 and has been tending to his garden his whole life. he does the same things that you do. He doesn't speak any english but he loves you man! UR OFFICIALLY COOL IN MY BOOK!

we just bought a small capsicum tree for $20 with 6 capsicums on it, its about 1.5ft high, should i go outside and cut the capsicums off?

Was this a replacement plant for the huge lemon you removed?

I have dwarf citrus where I live. I have 9 different dwarf citrus in a smaller lot than yours, It does get as low as 27ºF (-2.5ºC) here and the damage is minimal. Located about 45 miles East of S.F.

Great advice Greg, My difference is that I would have added a couple of tablespoons of 15-15-15 with micro-nutrients with the watering.
