Greg, we are from northern Iraq (kurds), my father is 86 and has been tending to his garden his whole life. he does the same things that you do. He doesn't speak any english but he loves you man! UR OFFICIALLY COOL IN MY BOOK!
That was useful! I live in a rented house and two lemon trees in the back yard mysteriously died a couple of years ago. No idea why. I'll know what to do if I get around to planting new ones!
Was this a replacement plant for the huge lemon you removed?
I have dwarf citrus where I live. I have 9 different dwarf citrus in a smaller lot than yours, It does get as low as 27ºF (-2.5ºC) here and the damage is minimal. Located about 45 miles East of S.F.
Great advice Greg, My difference is that I would have added a couple of tablespoons of 15-15-15 with micro-nutrients with the watering.
Water in the hole - give it a rub, tease - stick it in the hole - you sexy beast :-D . But seriously, great vid, great advice, this channel should be on TLC or at least DIY
I think world would be much better place if more people watch this stiff on you tube...

Would love to be allowed to plant trees here. A lime plant would go down well.
