I was at the game Saturday. My first game and it was a great one. The Irish stomped Utah 28-3. As I was driving into the parking lot, someone had this song blasting, and it was perfect.

Fact: Dan Quinn is the fastest Irishman in the world, without a doubt. Dan was also the fastest person to ever set foot on Notre Dame campus, he ruined Lou Holtz when he executed a perfect play against Lou's best wishes. i cant stand ND, but i must admit, this is a very very nice video. I do respect ND and thier great history and tradition and very much realize that for years, the Fightin Irish was the face of college football. As much as i cant stand ND, i would like to see them return to prominence. it just dont seem right not seeing them in the polls every week. (although i must admit, not seeing them over rated with average teams is quite nice too)

Notre Dame is a Catholic university in South Bend, Indiana along the Michigan border & was founded in 1842 by Fr. Sorin and the Congregation of Holy Cross Brothers and other French priests. The football team was formed in the late 1800s after getting help from the University of Michigan. The term "fightin' irish" was not introduced until the 1920s. Many rumors tell of how it came to be, but no one is certain of its true origins. But since then, the "Fightin' Irish" has been Notre Dame's mascot.
