"Maybe the guy's a Republican".....Good ol' Don Rickles!!...Is Dean Stanton still alive I hope? Oh and is Mike Curb, the guy who wrote and performed with his congregation still alive as well, I also hope? I'll bet you don't know he also did "It's A Small World After All" for old Fuher Disney, besides "Burning Bridges".
Clint Eastwood must be one of the most wonderful actors. Not all of his films succeeded, however, he himself never let himself down. No scandal. No drugs. No drink driving. No stupid body piercing or ugly tattoos. No tantrums in planes or destruction of hotel rooms. A great guy and one of the world's most successful actors.
Thanks for all the nice comments. The song was written and sung by Terry Simpson for a Clint Eastwood marathon on TBS in 1999. The music was an existing instrumental track to which we added vocals. The song has no real name, and isn't an actual record; it was used solely for this commercial.
A classic ensemble film of it's time. Why Clint thought making this movie was a waste of time, I'll never know. It wasn't his production company making it, so perhaps his expectations were different. Telly was awesome.
great montage----I've seen a lot of 'Kelly's Hero's' clips, but this one is the best yet!
