  • You could also have burned the fat already and not know it, and still have the residual there.....or the skin in excess that looks like fat, which will take some time to infuse back together.

  • I`m skinny fat and I`ve been working out for about 6 months.I realized my calorie intake was way too low and I gradually increased it,now I eat about 2500 - 2600 calories a day.Should I start cutting now? Or should I increase my calorie intake to gain more muscles?Also...I don`t hurt after working out anymore,should I lift heavier or do more reps ? (or both?)   • k so for some reason sometimes when i start doing my workout and do pushups my arms kinda fell like they twitch like moving a dead leg or something never happened before so don't really know if its a bad thing a normal thing or just a unusual thing but if u know Omar.and could tell me that would be awesome. ty bro

  • I'm pretty sure that at my age (49) the "Skinny-Fat" problem I have is HORMONAL. My body really started changing around age 42...I started growing lots of back hair...my stomach and love handle fat grew, she my chest fat (Man Boobs) grew. But here's the thing...I work out vigorously and regularly, and I eat right. I'm not a "Slob"...but I cannot maintain muscle and get rid of the fat. PLEASE HELP! WHAT do I DO?

  • @skipcloudwalker Then i'll be serious, Creatine also adds water retention and so does a diet with slightly sodium, If you're consuming more than 10 grams of creatine (depending on body weight) then you'll add water weight. The main cause is sodium a.k.a salt, the slightest increase of sodium can fluctuate your weight by 2kg (4.4 LBS) or more

    I have a question: what to do/eat when you don't go to the gym. I train everyday, and my gym partner keeps telling me to include a day off. i'm scared that, if i do take a day off every week, i might screw up.

  • @TheBorisDude Train a MAXIMUM of 5 days a week! I used to workout every single day....I ended up losing all my muscle and wasted all the hard work. Yes, I got the abs, but trust me, they were just the small abs that we all have..nothing impressive! Have rest days, they will help you recover and be good for you in the long run!

  • @20jaime10 very true. Same happened to me. I was training every single day (I do kickboxing) and I had as a goal too beat the current champ at the gym. But I lost to him. Afterwards I went to him and shared my training routine and he said: "Your doing it all wrong. You train hard but you gotta rest man!".

    Same applies to bodybuilding or any other sport.

    I don't eat junk, rather, when I get cravings, I go to town on fruit. Which is okay I guess, but I'm taking in a few more carbs then I like.
