  • Wait, there is no this causing a that? So if I pick up a ball and throw it I am not causing my hand to move the ball in a forward motion?

  • Both this and that have no meaning in kingdom of truth due to non-existence of time and causation.

  • Glory to God in The Highest! All Glory and power is Thine Oh Lord. Thank you for The Light You have radiated in the form of The Great Teachers. Thank you Dr. Hawkins for the clarity of your teachings.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL On the surface of the ocean big waves crash causintg chaos on the surface as a storm takes place.Deep down below the surface all is still.

  • @ChuckNorrisKratosLOL who is this "I" that can prove "That" ? (ego) The wantingness to be right.

  • thank you mr. hawkin.

  • truly appreciate. David Hawkins is truly awesome!

  • Where is the unconditional love button? <3

  • Correct

  • can anyone help me clarify this? i've watched this several times still i didn't get the point of "there is no 'this' causing a 'that"

  • @bhumimanusha like a cartoon where you flip the pages and the cat keeps changing postions. nothing is actually happening but that's the appearance of what is called 'reality.'

  • @bhumimanusha -Nothing makes anything else happen. Everything is a result of the direct evolution of time. There is no one thing responsible for the occurances around you. Everything had to be acting in concert through time.

  • what exists cannot be conceptualized. existence is prior to thought. what exists is not an object and therefore not subject to time. conceptualization has no author. so, what are you?

  • Likewise, we cannot wish history away without wishing away ourselves.

  • This is exactly what the Buddha taught; the inter-dependence of all things and events. Also the Taoists talk about a correlative nature of reality and they deny causal logic because cauality implies hierarchy. There is no event (or thing, they're the same) that is of more importance than all other events since they all happen at the same time! The Buddhist sage Nagarjuna also denied causality.

I also deny it, it is absolutely absurd to find out a definite cause of something!

  • Yes! There is an unseen intention (God) working behind everything. Look at all the things that have happened for us to hear that. I was writing this down last night, we're all so small and "insignificant" yet we're so big too. Each and every thing we do affects the whole Universe. Being conscious of the right things is what makes us positive influences on the changes that take place.

  • Hmmm. I did an interview with J.R. Richmond, an old friend of the Doc's. It was a Human Design reading and it underscored this point of view.

  • Is there a God? Stephen Hawking:" Yes, if by God is meant the embodiment of the laws of the universe."

Evolution is omnipresent. Evolution is also all knowing eventually and Evolution gets better so its a kind of all loving.

Which is the traditional view of God and obeys the Laws of the universe.

That makes evolution God amazing and I did it all without a magic wand. This will be the first time you have read this.

    The magic of You Tube

  • he explains causality very well, that was indeed what happens and it effects everthing in a random way,

its such a pity he just cant let go and believe it himself

  • the introduction of consciousness collapses of wave function into the particle-laden manifestation of life when conditions are appropriate, which in turn is determined by the entire constitution of the universe as the linear expression of the nonlinear source of existence - ah!!! how wonderful to be free from the illusion of causality!

  • doesn't quantum mechanics dispute what he is saying? i.e. that every event that is ever to occur is already determined at the moment of the big bang?

  • No I don't think that is what quantum mechanics says. From my understanding the quantum idea is that there are infinite possibilities that collapse when observed by consciousness. What makes you think otherwise? :)

  • @MindAsFocus

The Big Bang Theory is itself a very disputeable fact -thats why its called a theory.

If you look to the core of all things, there are only 2 things:

1.: Movement (aka. energy -the movements interact which each other and build forms).

2.: Non Movement (aka. The Void, emptyness, nothing -in which the movements take place).

Since energy (movement) cannot be created or destroyed, (Conservation of energy) a Big Bang is highly unlikely. The Universe has been and will be forever.

  • @freierHimmel Of course it's disputable, but it's called a theory because it's the most comprehensive and accurate explanation supported by scientific evidence. That means abstractions of observable phenomena expressed as quantifiable properties. With scientific laws, we can express relationships between observations of such concepts. All of this explains a class of phenomenon based on empirical data. Saying "...a Big Bang is highly unlikely" is incredibly dishonest.

  • thanks to a loving friend who has been facing her own challenges as well as helping me combat my own i have now been looking into davids teachings and at first when i was introduced i dont think i was ready.i was too easily angered..thanks to my dearest of friends who has lent me some DVDS of his lectures and has even met him! i have really been able to slowly but surely find the inner meaning and truth behind my energy. its brought me together with such a beautiful soul..

  • Thank u 4 sharing that! What a beautiful walk 4 your soul. Your humility shines.

    Love is always the way.

    Namaste

    :-)

  • I love this man. Thank you thank you.

Subjectivity is primary. Your own consciousness is primary. Objective causal reality is a projection within your consciousness.

Once you get this, your whole life changes.

    :) God bless

  • Well, no you don't need the county, state, society, etc. Osho commented on the insanity of the idea of "society." He said enlightened people would naturally gravitate towards living in communes. You don't need gov't in a commune of enlightened souls, because enlightenment doesn't trample on enlightenment. And even if there is some encroachment from a lesser evolved consiousness, the master perceives this as only the movement of one's own mind, or of universal mind.

  • don't get lost in the words. The point is that for things to be as they are now, the whole universe has to cooperate - the commune in Oregon didn't work out so well did it because nobody gets to choose what happens in the next moment and what happens is a consequence of the sum total of everything that has happened before everywhere in the universe - why? because nothing is separate from anything else.

  • the point is that what is happening now to the speck of dust or to anything else is a consequence of the sum total of everything that happened before. You could not be saying what you are saying now if you had not been born in that physical body, in a particular environment, been subjected ot all kinds of influences which eventually pushed you toward Osho and maybe even Oregon where Osho had no control over what went on.

  • Don't get stuck on concepts - even your communes have governments - people seemingly making decisions based on their particular view of things - a reflection of their own past conditioning and even in Oregon stupid and violent things occured. Apparently, it could not have been otherwise even in the aura of a living master.

  • Thank you God for working thru this beautiful man - thank you for the teachings, the light, and the understanding you pass through him. I feel blessed to be led to such teachings. Mwah mwah mwah!! with love, Olive.xxxx

  • God give wisdom to understand one of your miracles... Mr. David Hawkins

  • He is talking about the Theravadan Buddhist doctrinal notion of interdependent arising.

That is, nothing has substance and therefore exists in and of itself. Everything is dependent upon everything else in order to arise - and then, of course, pass away...

A concept that has been around for 2,500 years...

  • tis be not a concept! tis been being since forever!

  • Truth is timeless my friend. Great sages will come and go preaching the same thing and harken for us to follow, for good things are to be shared.

I do hope that he is right about the world consciousness hitting above 200. Life is too scared to live pessimistically.

  • interdependent arising and passing away...

as though there's a fabric/ continuous thread connecting the two as one

  • "Nothing lasts.. but nothing is lost"

  • Everybody who posts something positive about Hawkins is always astonished, stunned, overcome by something so great. He IS enlightened. Truly, this IS a servant of God! By our Divinity, we can recognize the Divinity in him. My God. God bless you, David.

  • "He IS enlightened."

    Define enlightenment please.

    What do you mean?

    Thanks.

  • enlightenment is not seeing through the lense of ego..which means that you live your life in a completely new dimension... where even your thoughts are considered exterior, your beliefs are exterior your wants and your needs are all exterior everything is watched! including the watcher..

  • We're all enlightened already, Listen to this man.

  • @rinpoche1 im not

  • @rinpoche1

No, the correct translation of that new agish statement is "Everybody has within themselves potential Buddha Nature"

That is playing with hypothetical, im definetly not enlightened, but selfish, smelly kid.

  • @rinpoche1 to be enlightened me must first stop being not enlightened

  • @rinpoche1 to be enlighted we must stop not being enlightened

  • The way he moves his hands is interesting...

  • Thank you so much Mr. Hawkins.

  • On a logarithmic scale of truth from 0 -- 1000 (Jesus is at a 1000), this media calibrates at 940 (10x10x10..940 times), an enormous power. Thank you for sharing your own subjective state of being Dr. Hawkins. I am grateful. I Love U.

  • i wonder who he is giving the masonic hand sign to in the audience at 1:55. Could this be some of the esoteric knowledge they've withheld for so long? I've never heard of this gentleman before, but the way he laughs with such honest amusement at the world's silliness makes me like him.

  • Great teachers historically bestow Grace using the mudras...they are spontaneous...

  • Dr Hawkins has changed my empty life; not an easy task being a 58 y.o. "smartie"...

My God bless you good Dr H!

  • Hawkins...

It is my intention to meet you one day.

I really have no other words... only awe for the work that is projected through your being.

    Grateful~

  • A very powerful teaching. Susan, would you post something on the teaching: "you are only subject to that which you hold in mind?"

  • I didnt see the spec of dust, maybe its a spiritual power ;) post more videos! they are all great!

  • Another Thank You and your devotion;)

  • What an absolute blessing it has been to be exposed to the teachings of Dr. David R. Hawkins. Thank you for posting this video. I have been wonderfuly influenced by this teacher.

  • Thank you for all of your work. Please continue to teach and write.

  • Thank You

  • I struggled for years attempting to understand "how is it that all causality is an illusion?" Thanks for the clarity Doc!

  • Thank you Dr. Hawkins!

  • Thank you Dr. Hawkins! That one statement changed my life several years ago.

  • This is wonderful. Thank you, Dr. Hawkins.
