Also, great songs. Rebecca Lavelle has some great songs for this show and they really fit whenever something happend, plus really great actors even though it's not an american show. I suggest people to watch it to the end though, if they didn't. Or atleast untill Alex starts going to Nicks farm in Argentina, that's when it becomes bad.

the best episode of mcleods daughters was the very first one where claire, tess, becky, jodi and meg rode up the paddock in a line, this episode is crappy compared to that one.

I turned on the teli without knowing that is was the last episode. When I saw them riding the horses in line at the end I had to cry so hard and knew immediately that is was the end. I was sad all day long.

da war weihnachten und die haben alle zusammen gefeiert und es hat wie aus eimern geregnet. dann hat kate gesagt, dass bei dem regen die flusskrebse bestimmt toll sind. lange rede kurzer sinn: er,grace,taylor und patrick hatten nen unfall und sind in den fluss gefahren. alle überleben, außer riley, vielleicht. den findet man nämlich nie wieder.
I also think that the rest of the original staff ( at least Tess and Nick) could have come for the final. Like they do it in German telenovelas which were prolonged.
As for Alex dying.... is it just me who though Aaron Jeffery looks sick that last season...? Maybe he wanted to leave for personal/medical reasons. He was sadly missed though, as were all the original Drovers' members. Even Harry ;-)
The show went downhill fast after season 3 when Lisa Chappel, the very heart of the show, left.
The last 2-3 seasons...it's been like watching a different show all together. Too many new people too fast, too many ridiculous story lines. Very sad.
Never liked Tess that much, to be honest. How she keeps panting to emphasize she's upset... Please!

i loved this show more than any one! it meaned everything to me! everytime i see when they are all riding the girls i mean i cry! i think it was the right way to end it becuase it was meant to be about the girls and the land and i think jodi coming back prego was just so cute! i love how they all stop half way at the clif then turn around and race back! its so sweet !

I can't believe this is the end, and we'll never see new episodes. I hoped that tess and nick, becky and jake, kate and dave and the rest would also attend the last episode. It is a pity they didn't :'( I am glad that i have al of the episodes of mc on dvd, so i can watch every episode again but it is to bad that they are so expensive. and of course that season eight isn't in Holland, not on dvd or on tv... Riley wurde vom Flussverlauf weiter getrieben und wird nicht gefunden.
Ingrid konnte ihn nicht mehr retten, weil er schon von der Flut vertrieben war, als sie noch mal eintauchte.

in der 2. folge von heute war das mit riley.
da war weihnachten und die haben alle zusammen gefeiert und es hat wie aus eimern geregnet. dann hat kate gesagt, dass bei dem regen die flusskrebse bestimmt toll sind. lange rede kurzer sinn: er,grace,taylor und patrick hatten nen unfall und sind in den fluss gefahren. alle überleben, außer riley, vielleicht. den findet man nämlich nie wieder.

I also think that the rest of the original staff ( at least Tess and Nick) could have come for the final. Like they do it in German telenovelas which were prolonged.

As for Alex dying.... is it just me who though Aaron Jeffery looks sick that last season...? Maybe he wanted to leave for personal/medical reasons. He was sadly missed though, as were all the original Drovers' members. Even Harry ;-)

The show went downhill fast after season 3 when Lisa Chappel, the very heart of the show, left.
The last 2-3 seasons...it's been like watching a different show all together. Too many new people too fast, too many ridiculous story lines. Very sad.
Never liked Tess that much, to be honest. How she keeps panting to emphasize she's upset... Please!
The new Jaz is AWFUL! I really liked the brunette who played her before, though. They should've kept her!

I think it's a shame that only meg and jodi from the original cast are still there.. I love Claire and Nick so much (not as a couple). And then there are Tess, Alex (why did they let him die? Just for Drama?) and Becky... so sad, that the actors went...

I loved the series.....but as it was the last season: WHY did they let Alex die. For me totally unforgivable. did not watch the last season because of that. that was not fair to the fans.

i loved this show more than any one! it meaned everything to me! everytime i see when they are all riding the girls i mean i cry! i think it was the right way to end it becuase it was meant to be about the girls and the land and i think jodi coming back prego was just so cute! i love how they all stop half way at the clif then turn around and race back! its so sweet !

i've seen every show, and I was in Australia when the show started in 2001, i hate it's over, would have liked to see more of the original characters that are still alive, lol, come back
i only own 1 tv show on dvd, and this is the only other one i want, waiting for all 8 seasons on dvd and will ask Santa for it,

I can't believe this is the end, and we'll never see new episodes. I hoped that tess and nick, becky and jake, kate and dave and the rest would also attend the last episode. It is a pity they didn't :'( I am glad that i have al of the episodes of mc on dvd, so i can watch every episode again but it is to bad that they are so expensive. and of course that season eight isn't in Holland, not on dvd or on tv... Thanks for this amazing show to changed my life, it really did xx Floor
