there is no torchwood without gwen i love captain jack but, if it was only him and those americans on the new torchwood team i wouldnt watch the new torchwood at all.
I advise any Briton watching this to download it and not show any support. It will be shown in America, Canada and Australia a week before us. When we do finally get it, it will be an edited down version of the one shown everywhere else on Earth. Not to mention that our tax money funded just under half of it. Vote with your wallet and don't buy the dvd.
She's beautiful and a talented actor. That is obvious. She has that elusive bit of "star quality" that shows up on and off camera.. This girl could well be the "Dame Judith" of the 21st Century! I know several otherwise ultra-sophisticated, witty and urbane & jaded gay men who are head over heals in love with this young women. If I weren't old enough to be her father, I'd probably be one of them! The last time I saw this kind of a "star quality" it was generated by Garland in her 20s.
i cant wait till it begins, watever im doing im stoping n turning on the tv and watching it. uggh but i just hope its not bad because the other charicters are gone :(....and jack needs another man <3
@inkblurboy yeah it starts in july on both stars in the us and bbc1 in the uk... looks like it will most likely replace camelot once its first season ends

If Jack doesn't come back, they might as well stop the series. The whole show is based on TWO characters, Gwen AND Jack. It was bad enough when they killed off the other characters. Maybe it's good to refresh the show with new people every once in awhile, but it's a dangerous road to go down if you don't know what you're doing. The new characters will never be as good as the old ones. You can breathe new life into the series, or you can kill it just as fast.
Gwen will now be a founding member of the new Torchwood & Co-leader after Capt.Jack Harkness.Gwen & Jack are soulmates & at the same time unrequited lovers.everytime their together something happens.
