does anyone know where you can get a idina menzel cd close to arkansas city, kansas? i have never heard idina's songs unless they're from musicals. I WANT THOSE CDs!!! plz help.
I don't get it? I'm not familiar with actual performance equipment like that, but how can they "not hear" themselves when they're singing onstage, so they need that earpiece? I suppose, otherwise, it would echo a lot and they might have trouble, singing from the feedback? *confused*
The earplugs send her a perfect mix of all the instruments on stage. So that she can get the best possible mix. And yes it involves her mic too. This allows the artist to perform the best possible way. It is very hard to hear everything perfectly together when you are infront of so many performers. Let's not forget the noise floor that the audience produces. So basically all the performers mics go into a mixer that's run by a sound and then is "fix" at the mixer and than sent to the earplugs.
well everyone whos playing behind her is all playing electric instruments, which all have their amps facing towards the audience and away from her, so she can't hear them very well, therefore this helps otherwise its really hard to hear anything
without that she cant hear herself and yet she continues perfect. im sooo jealous! she is amazing!!!

They're called in ear monitors. Sometimes it's easier for vocalists to use them as opposed to fold back monitors

This gives Idina a perfect feed. Allowing her and everyone else performing with to be together. Instead of having a delay.

Thanks! I think I get it. She hears everything as is, instead of echoes, right?
