tjmcp 400ex's dont have much power to start off with but once you put a few mods into it they can keep up with the 450r's with ease i have alot of mods on my 400ex and i drag raced a 450r about 2 weeks ago and smashed it (450r was stock)by about 2 bike lengths.

Jury still out for me on the 450r. It's sprung a lot stiffer than the 400ex and I'm looking for a trail 4 wheeler. I am looking into trying to find a deal on a 450r though to give it a try so yes I've heard of it.
