  • Joel Osteen is a fraud!

  • Watch

    NMI: The First Seal

  • I love God so much -3

  • You are a blessing in my life, thank you. :)

  • Hey, bless me with a super model georgeous wife and youll see me up in front of the chruch praising God also, too easy. But for the rest of us married to wives that look like mules...... I stay at home.

  • Not having listened much, I had always wondered why this guy is controversial among evangelicals. So I stumbled on this, & started listening. He lost me when he "God meets us at the level of our expectations". Was Moses expecting the burning bush? did Moses' expectations limit God? Was Peter expecting the net to be full of fish? God does "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" (Ephesians 3:20) according to the Bible.

  • @PUAlum ???? Would God not want you to have high expectations of him and believe? A lot of people out their do give up, and live negative. Furthermore, majority of those people go no where in life. Joels message makes perfect since. Also, the words that come out of your mouth, are very important. If you talk negative, you will recieve that most of the time. And, sure good things and miracles can happen to the unexpected. However, it's more fruitfull to live with faith In gods plan.

  • @SuperInvincible14 Did you notice the quotation in my comment. I.e. Joel said, "God meets us at the level of....". I'm not saying we should not have greater expectations. I'm just saying God is in now way limited by our expectations. Do you disagree with that rather simple statement?

  • @PUAlum You do not get the general message of what Joes is speaking about. You are creating your own question and answers. Here are some versus -

    Proverbs 12:18 ESV

There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

    Proverbs 18:21 ESV

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits

And, there are so many other versus. So yes, Joel has a good message. And, there is nothing wrong it.

  • @SuperInvincible14 It's not that I do not get his general message. It's a specific statement I found very limiting. Do you agree with that specific statement of his? Does his general message diminish the limitation on God inherent in that specific statement. And I'm not trying to bash him/anyone. I just thought I saw the crux of some of the controversies I've read about. I pray God will use Joel .....and am sure He has....to bless and encourage many!!

  • I like this guy.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=hv0By-tYWQE&list=FLffVhaCPP69FfDMw8lKVGuQ&index=7&feature=plpp_video

  • @dirtboy7777 This is another amazing video

  • The Best

  • Osteen is amazing... check out the video I made about faith!

  • come to islam. read the quran judgment is very near

  • Where is the prophet's warning?

    Where is the shepherd's staff?

Judgment will begin with the house of God.

  • Why is this guy seen as such a bad person? Is it the way he preaches or something?

  • Its sad when Christians rely on blessings and use God, when they should rely on God and use blessings. Prophets for profits make me angry. Christianity should not be SOLD as a get-rich-quick scheme.

  • God told me to kill my children, just like the guy in the bible. So I should do it right?

  • I know he gets a bad rap, but I needed to hear this !

  • @k0smon

you want jesus to smack your titties with a stainless steel spatula don't you?

  • @youthank8 ::: Oh, oh, I have come across a little S & M punk. Sick puppy, I feel sorry for your parents having to put up with you.

  • Check the NEW video "Church Follows False Prophets Joel Osteen, Td Jakes...." on my channel

  • Be content with only God Jesus,

1 Timothy 6:8 "But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content."

    Don't pursue wealth, pursue Christ:

    1 Timothy 6:11

"...Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness."

    1 John 2:16

"pride in possessions is not from the father but is from the world."

  • Ezekiel 33:31

"...with their mouths they express devotion but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain."

    Ezekiel 23:25

"...but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence."

  • 1 Timothy 6:5-11

"...people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain...But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation...It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee these things..."

  • HAHAHA! I love how this begins with brainwashing everyone, by making them all hold up their bibles to recite how great of a book it is. If that isn't intentional mental manipulation, then I don't know what is. Religious ppl are so stupid. In the future, when religions are finally disproved, the religious people of today will look as foolish as the masses who once believed that the earth was flat, and that crop growth, disease, and weather patterns were controlled by gods.

  • @boydowninhouston It's more like blasphemy, using the Bible to then corrode it's teachings to justify your greed. God warns us in the Bible of false teachers like osteen. There is religion which was created to be defiant against God and then there is the Truth, John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If its in God's plan for you to believe, you will, John 15:16 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you."

  • @boydowninhouston ::: Isn't all religion brainwashing? Religious people believe what they think is the truth, and when backed up by an emotional experience, it is almost impossible to dissuade them. They are not stupid. Those who believed the earth was flat were taught that, and they had no reason to disbelieve it.

  • If a starving African were to watch this nonsense he would be rolling his eyes at the stupidity and utter self unawareness that is shown by these ignorant idiots. "god want's to give you good things" no he doesn't, he doesn't exist. is children dying from famine just a "challenge" from god? no it's evidence that there is no god, and if there was then he would be the most negligent, evil, narcissistic asshole that we could possibly imagine. grow up and start questioning what you believe.

  • @rememberthename33 Proverbs 16:4 "The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." Isaiah 46:9-10 "for I am God, and there is no other...My counsel shall stand and I will accomplish all my purposes." God has planned it all and only He knows His purpose. If it's in God's plan for you to understand and believe, He will seek you, John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.”

  • @menudoxscm When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property - Exodus 21:20-21 NAB

Yes, keep the Sabbath day, for it is holy. Anyone who desecrates it must die - (Exodus 31:12-15 NLT)

I can quote the bible too. It's bullshit.

  • @rememberthename33 You're clever, defiant and wicked, just like satan. Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." Judgement Day is coming and the wrath of God will be upon the unbelieving. Jesus is Lord and Savior.

  • @menudoxscm "When a man has an emission of semen, he must bathe his whole body with water, and he will be unclean till evening." - Leviticus 15:16

"There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses." - Ezekiel 23:20

It (the bible) is full of interest. It has noble poetry in it, some clever fables, some blood-drenched history, some good morals, a wealth of obscenity and upwards of a thousand lies. - Mark Twain.

  • @rememberthe I can provide a direct rebuttal to your comment but it's a moot point. Luke 24:45 "Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures." God hasn't opened your mind to the truth and therefore you do not believe in Him or His Word. There is nothing anyone can show or tell you to make you have faith in Him. Whether you believe or not, this stands: Mark 13:31 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away." Jesus is Lord and Only Savior, believe or perish.

  • @rememberthename33 :: Your assumptions are not facts. Your name calling shows your arguments to be weak. You have no way of proving God does not exist. Starving people are that way because of corrupt governments. Joel is speaking to those in his audience, not to Africans. You don't like God? You have lots of company.

  • @k0smon "You have no way of proving God does not exist" you have no way of proving there are no flying unicorns, but you don't believe in them because there is no evidence for them, just as there is no evidence for a magic sky man. Maybe if people stopped throwing money away to churches and peddling morons like osteen, and stopped wasting time praying, they could actually help provide food for some of these people. There is no such thing as god, so not liking him would make no sense..

  • @rememberthename33 ::: I have no reason to try to disprove the FSM or unicorns or whatever. There is evidence for God, but no undeniable proof. My watch is evidence of a watchmaker, or did it just fly together over millions of years? You make false statements when you say there is no such thing as God, because you do not know that for a fact. As Sgt Friday used to say: "Just the facts, maam."

  • @k0smon Having a reason to disprove it means nothing, the point is you cannot prove a negative, if you're saying there is a god then it is up to you to provide evidence, and to this day there is ZERO evidence for your god or any god that people have thought up. Do people still try to use the watchmaker fallacy? if everything needs a creator then what created god? and why did god fuck up so much? we can be as sure there is no god as we are sure there are no fairies, not 100%...but close.

  • @rememberthename33 ::: All you have to do is DENY there is any evidence, and then you are right? The watch is not a fallacy, it tells time. I will explain God to you the day your dog speaks fluent English. Some things are just beyond our abiblities to understand. How do you know God screwed up, things may be working just as planned. Fairies belong in the astral world, so you probably won't meet any until you take your next acid trip.

  • @k0smon I deny there is any evidence because there isn't any, the only evidence you have given is "my watch was made by a watchmaker, therefore the universe was made by god". "beyond our abiblities to understand" so god gave us brains that cannot comprehend him? why?. And if things worked just as planned then is god malevolent, indifferent or not all powerful, otherwise he wouldn't let the horrible things in the world happen would he?

  • @rememberthename33 the things you label as "horrible" have a purpose. Think about it. Do you think that without adversity people can flourish and become stronger and greater? Your life can be analogous to your muscles. While working out it hurts and burns but in the long run you will become stronger and healthier. Likewise adversity prepares you for greater things to come. This idea is supported both by doctrines and evolutionary disciplines.

  • @Hoyacap88 Do you actually believe the nonsense you are saying? Would you say to someone who is going to die from serious illness "it's ok, this is just a challenge from god" what about children who die in the womb or after only living for a day, is that a challenge from god too? he kills babies to challenge them? bullshit, you can't actually think that everything bad that happens is just adversity from god. There is no god.

  • @rememberthename33 this video wasn't about everything bad that happens, it was about having a positive mindset and expecting the best, rather than the worst. Granted, the best doesn't always happen... but it's sure a better way to live and makes you feel much better than being negative and expecting the worst all the time. Life is hard, and cruel sometimes, and if this guy boosts their spirits and makes it a little more bearable then GREAT! We need more of that in the world.

  • @happyguync Helping people to be positive is one thing, you don't need to rely on a supernatural being to be optimistic. He teaches to have blind faith in god and everything will be ok, this teaches people to not think or do anything for themselves but to just expect things from god, which ultimately means that when others are suffering, they simply pray (do nothing) instead of trying to actively help those in need (eg. pray for japan campaign) because they think it's taken care of.

  • @mikeymartin80

has joel's cock skin also blessed the walls of your rectum? :D

  • @youthank8 ::: Thumbs down to your childish comments. You sound like a sexually frustrated 7th grader. Go back to your computer games.

  • Joel's teachings have blessed me

So much we can learn a lot gods favor is with us all we don't have to be defeated we have been blessed with power of god and we should use it

  • "God meets us at the level of our expectations. If we expect little, we're going to receive little." - Joel Osteen :-)

  • Expect through good things through your faith.

  • What beautiful inspirations to cross over all people in the world. Thankyou, Joel!!

  • if you people think you can be a better preacher then JO then go make yourself a Video and see if you have any Follower. JO preaches about the Love of Human Life and that includes Gods Love for humans :) use your common 7 sense, JO never say a Bad word or Swears like No other Low Life Pastors :( he holds no grudges against anyone but except to do his Job and that is to give people a good msg about how to love one another, respect one another and forgive one another *_^

  • he is just a bad preacher...he teaches false messages, and twistes the word. He also just says the same thing OVER AND OVER again.

  • @3BALL4 ::: You must be high. He is a bad preacher? He has the biggest congregation in the country! You don't get that by being a bad preacher. The only thing false and twisted here is your attitude.

  • If there's any justice he'll be shoveling shit in hell.:)

  • I don't understand all the terrified ppl in here, what do you mean sugar coat the bible?

All his preaching is based on the bible. Care to give one good example which is not from the bible. I triple dare you.

  • I ♥ GOD.

  • What do we expect from God, what do I expect from God..............Listen to this materialistic prosperity gospel garbage!!

People, it's not what we expect from God, It's what GOD EXPECTS FROM US!

  • @777jonah888 ::: It is a relationship. You do for Him, He does for you. Do you have a slave mentality? What God expects from us is found in Micah 6:8

  • God says that we are going to have trials and tribulations. This guy is sugarcoating the BIBLE. God's HOLY word. When we die we have to give an account for all of our sins and ALL of the people we have led astray. If I were Joel, I would be TERRIFIED of dying. He has led ALOT of people astray. God is a JUST God. Don't forget that we deserve HELL.

  • @bailyjohnston ::: You certainly deserve hell with your attitude. Joel leads people to a higher understanding of spiritual life, something you obviously don't have. If you haven't had sufficient misery today, then you must not be Godlike.

  • I agree on the expecting part.I found my life is a lot better when i kept expecting good things. At the start noting much happened, but after around 4 months things really changed,so I believe you got me on the expecting part Joel, but not sure about being a Christian

  • Truth-Saves(dot)com

  • Comment removed

  • god is good he has changed my life forever

  • People actually buy in to this? That makes me so so sad :( People don't want to hear good sound biblical sermons anymore :(

  • @lowbattery34 And he makes millions at it.

  • @lowbattery34 : Of course people believe this. It empowers them, gives them hope, helps them grow as a Christian. You want to just grovel in the kindergarten of Christianity, hear about what a terrible sinner you are and how you deserve hell? Don't be sad, get glad. Stop being afraid to grow in grace and understanding.

  • Why does Joel always talk about how to get blessings from God? The only thing Christians should expect from God is wrath, death and taxes. The self and its desires are tools of Satan in a proper reading of the Bible. Joel simply tries to popularize an inherently unpopular doctrine. Jesus was hated and persecuted while Joel has money thrown at him. Hmmm...I wonder who has their mind on this world like flies on dogshit? Joel is a motivational speaker and professional rhetorician.

  • @PrimeConsciousness :: Wow, and I thought the gospel meant 'good news'. I think I will avoid your understanding of God, since it seems so contradictory to the Chrsitian message. The bible teaching about God's wrath is false - God is Perfection. Neither does He hate nor is he jealous.

  • I'm no pessimist, but expectation begets disappointment. Put one foot in front of the other toward your dreams and be pleasantly surprised by the results.

  • @LindseyE525

In God there is no disappoitments, if one is clean and humble, yet seeks knowledge, God will respond.

    *dreams*,,that one has many meanings.

I have expectations that will needa miracle to complete.

God has accomplished hundreds of miracles in my life, I have no reasons to doubt God at my critical stage of life.

    Good things NO

    God-Things Yes

    What is good?

I am joel's nemesis, his wrestler as Jacob wrestled with a angel.

I am not joel's adversary as satan is to us,

  • Jesus and most of his disciples were constantly persecuted, accused, and eventually brutally murdered. They weren't expecting a comfortable/stable life. Christianity is a battlefield and is a constant fight. God's not a good God because He let's us have comfortable lives. He's a good God b/c he saved us from eternity in hell, to be with Him. Christians should expect a hard/uncomfortable life but IN that find Joy & Peace in Him.

2 Cor. 12:10 - "When we are weak, than we are strong."

  • @WhyWitness :::This is the 20th century. Maybe you would be more satisfied living with the Amish. Where is this Christian battlefield? It is in your imagination. Times have changed. Maybe in Arabic and Asian countries Christianity is persecuted, but not where you are. You put the 'good news' in a bad light.

  • @k0smon wait so you're saying that there is no such thing as spiritual battle? if anything the U.S has one of the biggest "battlefields".. Christians in America endure through a lot of persecution through the media and peers, we might not notice it but that's why our beliefs on pro life, against same sex marriage, etc. are being skewed. Jesus didn't die for us so we could be comfortable on earth, he died for us so we could be comfortable in eternity.

  • @WhyWitness ::: You are not describing a battle, you are describing mild opposition. Jesus' death did not prohibit being comfortable on earth, that is up to us. Joel's teaching includes that.

  • @WhyWitness THANK YOU...joel osteen makes me sick

  • @3BALL4 ::: If Joel makes you sick, take a Dramamine and go to bed and do not watch him any more. And find the truth to the phrase "Silence is Golden".

  • @WhyWitness It also says in the Beatitudes (Matthew chapter 5) that those who are persecuted for God will be glorified in the kingdom of heaven. We, as Christians, are not meant to sit around and be comfortable. We are meant to go to the ends of the Earth, through Hell of high water fearlessly proclaiming the gospel. Live unashamed, and in full trust in the Lord our God because if you think about it, the worst they can do is end our time here.

  • @XxJLawrencexX So Christians are supposed to go around the world annoying everybody and telling them about how some fairy tale is true and provide no evidence for that?

  • @ninjajesus81 Tell them yes, annoy no. There's a difference between saying "Hey, I'd like to tell you about Jesus" and shoving it down someones throat. As for evidence, it's everywhere. You would have a far tougher time finding anything to the contrary than I would proving it even if I were a brand new Christian.

  • @XxJLawrencexX Do you think that evidence would hold up in court?

Judge: "So what is the evidence that your client is innocent?"

    Lawyer: "The evidence is everywhere"

Judge: "Oh, well then case dismissed."

So the evidence is everywhere? Cool. I just looked under my keyboard and I found some dust. Dust proves it. You're 100% correct in everything you said because I found dust under my keyboard.

  • @ninjajesus81 Touche.

But, seriously I could go into this but there is no way I could fit everything into this comment box. If you'd like me to though please send me a private message and I'll show you what I'm talking about, or if you would like to listen to a man who is much more knowledgeable than me search Louis Giglio Laminin. If that isn't proof I don't know what is.

  • @XxJLawrencexX Yes, please PM me this proof.

  • @ninjajesus81 Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Now to an atheist or agnostic, this makes no sense, which is fine because it's all in God's plan. God has already chosen those who will believe and serve Him, John 6:44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day." Oh, please don't listen to osteen's followers, they don't know the TRUE Gospel or the TRUE Christ.

  • @menudoxscm So we need faith that the Bible is true because the Bible says we need faith that the Bible is true?

You don't have a problem with that circular logic?

  • @ninjajesus81 Well, the Bible doesn't say we need to first have faith to know the Bible is true. A believers' faith comes from God, not from our own inclinations. Sin naturally comes from us but not faith in God or His Word. Matthew 11:27, "All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him." If you don't have faith, Christ hasn't chosen you to have it.

  • @menudoxscm So Jesus chooses some people to go to heaven and some to go to hell?

Have you ever read The Lottery?

So it's kinda like that? We get randomly chosen?

  • @ninjajesus81 God speaks a lot about predestination in the Bible, and it's not at all random selections, Ephesians 1:5, "He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will," Romans 8:29, "For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." John 15:16 , Jesus said, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you."

  • @ninjajesus81 Now, predestination is a hot topic in the "christian" faith, osteen's believers or any of the "prosperity gospel" believers will read my comment and will go crazy but it IS Biblical, Romans 1:6 "...Including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ..."

  • @ninjajesus81 Moreover, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4, "And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." Meaning, satan blinds the unbeliever and the truth which is Jesus Christ is not revealed to those God has not predestined to be His believers. If it's God's plan for you to believe, you will.

  • @menudoxscm So the devil is working with god to fulfill god's plan? They're teammates working together to randomly send some people to hell and others to heaven.

  • @ninjajesus81 No, never, God does not work with anyone, He is the one and only almighty God who is in control of everything, Proverbs 16:4, "The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble." Isaiah 46:9-10 "for I am God, and there is no other...My counsel shall stand and I will accomplish all my purposes." Yes, it's puzzling and even frustrating to the unbeliever but only God reveals the Gospel to His chosen servants through the Holy Spirit.

  • @ninjajesus81 But please know, satan in NOT equal with God, God created him, he betrayed God because he himself wanted to be the almighty God but Christ will defeat Him in the end, Revelation 20:10,"And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

  • @ninjajesus81 Hebrews 4:12 ESV / 20 helpful votes

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

  • @ninjajesus81 I'm sure all of what I've written is illogical to you. And that's fine cause that's how God has planned it to sound for you. My job as a Christian is NOT to make anyone believe in Christ, my job is to let everyone KNOW of Christ, as God commands. When judgement day comes, you will face your maker and He will ask you if you heard of Jesus?...John 17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”...And now you have.

  • @menudoxscm I'm 28 years old and I live in Florida. Do you honestly think I haven't heard of Jesus by now?

But that is a new argument. I haven't heard that one before; "It only sounds illogical to you because god wants it to".

Logic isn't subjective. If something is logical, you can explain why it's logical, you don't have to rely on "Trust me, it's logical, and if you don't think so, that's because god wants you to think it's not logical".

  • @ninjajesus81 Sorry to hear you live in Florida...just kidding. Anyway, first, I can't convince you of God through "logical" discourse because faith in God is not a "logical", calculated choice you make, it's a calling. A calling from God. If you are an atheist, then there is nothing I can say to convince you of God's existence, as proven in our hour long back and forth discourse. Again, my job as a Christian is to let people know of Christ, not conceive people that He is the Truth.

  • @WhyWitness Amen, thanks for your comment, God Bless. Christ says, Matthew 16:24 "Anyone who would come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

  • LIFE IS ABOUT PLEASING GOD, AND PREACHING THE GOSPEL! NOT ABOUT HOW TO GET YOUR BEST LIFE NOW!! THIS GUY NEEDS TO STOP PREACHING ON HOW TO GET THINGS FOR YOURSELF BUT ON HOW TO HONOUR GOD AND PREACH THE GOSPEL, I DONT LIVE FOR PROSPERITY I LIVE FOR GOD!!! ITS ALL ABOUT HIM!!!! NOT US!!!!

  • @jd6017 Right, because God exist.... religion is a child story and has made people beleive There's a god, and even if there is a god, that God wants to help us and wrote a book which is a manual for living life....Tell this to a kid who was raised without religion and your going to get some questions.

  • @jd6017 thankyou

  • @jd6017 ::: And in ALL CAPS too. How important you must feel. Putting your mind and life in God's favor IS pleasing to God, or else it would not happen. You have a very shallow understanding of what Joel is preaching. There is more than one way to preach the gospel, and Joel has one of those ways.

  • @LoveeeSephora People follow JO because he's optimistic. There's nothing wrong with expecting the postivie. He's not saying that life won't bring trials and challenges. That's a given. People are misunderstanding him. We are here to be positive. I don't believe God would want it any other way.

  • @MakeupSkinHealth There is something wrong with expecting the positive in such a negative backwards religion. I mean after all were just evil sinners who are going to bring about the end of the world right? Religious people who believe that earthquakes and tsunamis are messages from god. Christianity is self contradictory and ridiculous.

  • @MakeupSkinHealth

Oh yeah, and lets not talk about joel's wife, vicy and her shopping addiction,,and joel's very nervous posture on stage,,head shaking,,finger pointing,,all this shows deep inferiority comlex due to the fact he loves basketball over studying..

I can not shoot hoop, but I love, love love knowledge/reading, study.

So why accept joel and rejerct me?

    can you explain that?

    Envy.

  • @MakeupSkinHealth God's plan is not on giving people their expectations. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” God does not say, "I want people to reach their best life, health, wealth." Christ wants His chosen to REPENT of their SINS. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

  • @TheKJVberean :::Effeminate? You need to take a good look at his wife. Joel asks you to change the way you think, which, like yourself, some people find it very difficult to do. The flesh wants food, not talk. Looks like you are wrong on all counts.

  • @krazylady747 ::: Did you just make all that up? Demons, shmemons. This resembles a stack of lunch meat.

  • Which of the great doctrines of the bible has Joel taught??

  • @joeforHistruth :::Doctrines are dry and uninteresting. Joel teaches Christian living in a manner that captures your interest and improves your life. Doctrines are controversial anyhow, and are best left to classrooms.

  • @k0smon Doctrines are unintersting and controversial?? So we ignore them?? Those doctrines are from God, they can no more be ignored than the red light at the intersection! Joel teaches lies, not the bible. That's why you like him. another proof he is a false teacher! Repent!

  • @joeforHistruth :: Doctrines are important to the denomination that teaches them. They are important as a classroom exercise , not as a sermon topic. Joel teaches truth, just not what you want him to teach. You want him to be an evangelist. He is not. I like him because he tells the truth and teaches uplifting and positive spiritual messages. Obviously, you cannot appreciate this because you are just a negative and judgmental person. Time for you to wear sackcloth and ashes.

  • @k0smon No the bible clearly teaches to adhere to sound doctrine. they are important to Christian pastors in the pulpit. Joel does not teach sound doctrine which the bible he says is the word of God teaches. I will never appreciate wolves in sheeps clothing deceiving millions of people. Repent and turn to Christ for mercy!

  • @joeforHistruth :::What is "sound doctrine" is like trying to to say what 'truth' is. It differs from individual to individual, from church to church. That is one of the big problems with the bible; it is contradictory and leads to multiple understandings of doctrinal issues. Theological arguments without number. Why do you think there are so many Christian denominations? Because of the quagmire of biblical teaching. Everybody has their own little way of understanding what the bible means.

  • @k0smon There is one source for sound doctrine and truth, the bible. It's not contradictory. there are sound priciples for interpretation. Nearly all of the major denominations agree on the main things. That's just an excuse you make to live how you please, I hear it alot. You will be held accountable, know that!

  • Joel Osteen, talks only of good things. There are bad people all over this planet, and the devil it the root of all the people. He is not educated, not one time has he said my Dad tought me this, or I went to college and got this. Don't expect for everything, there's a such thing as hope, which he never once mentioned, hope is a big part of this lesson. It's like he's avoiding the biggest and most important parts of life to get to people. I'm not speaking of negativity, it's the truth.

  • osteen, YOU A LIE!!!

  • @PacmanBonez cmon buddy if you wont say anything nice dont say it at all.

  • @FREEBIRDFLY50 its true.. hes a false teacher

  • @PacmanBonez yuppers

  • @PacmanBonez :::Your idea is false. It is Joel that is the teacher of truth.

  • @k0smon "...it is joel that is the teacher of truth." So, joel is Christ now?! Pure BLASPHEMY. The truth is Christ, the Way is Christ, Salvation is Christ, the way to God is Christ. Let's pray for God to wake up the blind.

  • @menudoxscm ::: Are you Christ? What makes your word better than Joel's? Joel believes all that about Christ you mentioned. Do you not realize that Joel addresses his sermons to Christians and is not an evangelist?

  • @k0smon What makes "my" word better than osteen's...THE BIBLE. What I quoted comes from the HOLY BIBLE and Christ Himself says He is the ONLY Truth. Again, JESUS said, John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Osteen and the rest of them are FALSE teachers. Please practice discernment and only seek Christ and the Bible for the truth.,

  • @menudoxscm ::: Osteen believes as you do. What is your grief with him? Seek the bible for truth? OK, which story is correct? Matt account of Jesus birth when Herod was King, or Luke's account when Quirinius was Governor? They can't both be true because Quirinius did not become governor till after Herod was no longer king.

  • @k0smon

    1 Timothy 6:5-11

"...people who are depraved in mind and deprived of the truth, imagining that godliness is a means of gain...But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation...It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. But as for you, O man of God, flee these things..."

  • @menudoxscm ::: Did you ever hear of R.G. LeTourneau? He was a Christian businessman. Please look up his story. Your quote was very one-sided. You failed to quote verse 6: "Of course, there is great gain in godliness combined with contentment..."

  • @PacmanBonez prayin for ya buddy

  • I love Joel

  • I almost feel sorry for all of those people. An annoyance and sadness that so many people are so terribly deluded and exploited for their naivety.

  • @FractalZero :::We should feel sorry for you. A lot of high-sounding words signifying nothing. What is the terrible delusion? What exploitation?

  • Joel Osteen, I pray that you give away all your riches and follow Christ, heal the sick, be his disciple, and be saved. Now wouldn't that be a great testimony? And may the lord be glorified by it. I don't hate you, but if you will continue to turn the people's attention away from the master's narrow path and not teach them of the sacrifice they are to endure as the master had, then one must be risen up by Christ to undo the damage you have and would continue to do.

  • @j79k2000 :::: You make many untrue assumptions in your dissertation. He already follows Christ. Healing the sick is a special gift. Do you have it? He is a disciple and he is saved. He glorifies God every time he opens his mouth. Very poetic, this 'master's narrow path' and 'sacrifice they are to endure', but what is the practical application thereof? What is this damage you speak of? Very high-sounding, but signifies nothing.

  • @k0smon The practical application of staying in the path and sacrifice is to let go of the worldly. The world and god don't mesh. They are in opposition. Money (Mammon) is not something a man of god should have lots of. His treasures should be in heaven. Sure being rich is not a sin. But knowing its corruptible power and not getting rid of it is failure before you even fail. Jesus said if your arm commits you to sin cut it off. You must remove the capability to sin instead of trying not to sin.

  • @j79k2000 :::"The world and God don't mesh"??? You need to read Psalm 50. They are not in opposition. Having money and having spiritual riches are not mutually exclusive. You can do both. See the story of R.G. LaTournou. The love of money....( 1 Tim 6:10) If you don't love it, then it is not a problem.

The only way to lose the capability of 'sin' is to die.

  • @k0smon Trying not to sin is like not eating. It is your nature, you cannot defeat it. Why else would Christ come to earth? He did not come here to send you blessings of gold, health, prosperity and peace. He came to bring you the holy spirit so that you could be saved. Jesus said he didn't come to bring peace and happiness but a sword and to divide. All i hear Joel preach is of happiness, health, prosperity and all the things Jesus promised would never come to you as his persecuted disciples.

  • @j79k2000 ::: You presume several things. That Christ came to earth. That there is a trinity. That one needs to be saved. That Jesus brings enmity.

As Bart Ehrman said, the bible is full of contradiction and error, and any one of your presumptions could be part of the error. Joel preaches a positive message because it is beneficial to God's followers that he do so. See Joshua 1:8

  • @k0smon There is no error in the bible lol. If one thing in the bible is mistaken than the whole book has no value. The Bible is perfect.

  • @WhyWitness :::I fully agree with you, the whole book has no value. (Not really, it does have some value) It is anything but perfect. Matt 27:5 Judas hangs himself, and casts down the money. In Acts 1:18 he buys the field and bursts asunder. The bible describes God has having wrath, in Proverbs 27:4 it says wrath is cruel. You serve a cruel God?

The bible says God will send people to hell for eternity. That along with the understanding that God is love, is really hard to swallow.

  • @k0smon you can't read the bible by bits and pieces and try to understand it to your perspective. Anyone can do that and change the way God meant it for it to say. That's exactly what the Westboro baptist church does.

  • @WhyWitness ::: That is a grave weakness of the bible in that it can be interpreted in so many different ways. That is why there are multitudinous Christian denominations and why there are so many doctrinal disputes and misunderstandings. Everyone has his own special take about what the bible says and what it means. If God meant for it to say something, He would have left no loose ends. It would have been precise and unmistakable. You said the bible was perfect. It isn't.

  • @k0smon That's not the mistakes of the Word. That's the mistake of our own sinful minds and selfish interpretation. The Bible is perfect in every way, it's us who make it seem like there are flaws, just like how we make our God seem imperfect.. Our God is perfect in every way but our sinful hearts project him as a "cruel" and hateful being.

  • @WhyWitness ::: You have great faith, blind faith. It is with our God given minds that we see the mistakes and contradictions in the bible. You can chant "The bible is perfect" all day, but any reasonable person can see it is not perfect. It contains errors and contradictions. Your God is perfect, it is the bible that saddles Him with imperfections. The bible describes a false God, not the God who created the universe. The God who created the universe is all powerful and needs no help.

  • Joel Osteen, may God continue to bless you and your ministry. We love you, And we pray for the poor haters of yours. Don't let their poison contaminate your soul.

  • My God! He have been deceived by his own foolishness and look how many people he have deceived!! Can the blind lead the blind? NO! They will fall together!

  • @rizelinez ::: The deception is truly and properly yours. Be specific. Name-calling is silly.

  • Joel Osteen, talk only of good things. Hellooo! There are bad people all over this planet, and the devil it the root of all the people, well the main one at least. He is not educated, not one time has he said my Dad tought me this, or I went to college and got this. Don't expect for everything, there's a such think as hope, which he never once mentioned, hope is a big part of this lesson. It's like he's avoiding the biggest parts of life to get to people. He needs to be smacked into some sense.
