Well said, but entirely hypocritical - Chaplin was a Stalinist his entire life. What did he know about democracy? There are many other anti-nazi films that aren't tainted with Stalinism. From "To Be or Not To Be" to "Springtime for Hitler" -- even the Three Stooges are morally superior to Chaplin because they included Stalin in their axis parodies. (At the end of one film, they had Stalin standing on his head -- bravo!)
